A good store has many useful departments from groceries to shoes. The only thing in the off-season is very dirty, it is not pleasant to walk, there are not enough technical staff. But it's still better than going to the bazaar either in the heat or in the cold. A lot of goods are cheaper than at the bazaar and most importantly, you can safely try on what you like.
