Firstly, everything and everyone can be heard in the room, in the morning you wake up to roosters and the trampling of neighbors and owners, at night you fall asleep to the same trampling from above and drunken screams of vacationers, and it doesn't matter to anyone that you are also vacationing, you pay the same money and want to sleep (at least after 00:00, but this is not accurate)!! It's not regulated by the owners in any way, and they don't care!!! They also solder themselves.
Secondly, it is far from the sea for 25 minutes across the bridge, well, or across the road along the industrial zone, there are a couple of shops nearby to go to the center to eat (15 minutes).
We cooked breakfast ourselves, on a dead two-piece electric stove, by the way, it is one for all vacationers, one kettle and dishes, it is in abundance.
The toilet door does not close, the faucet is running in the bathtub and the water is turned off during the day, I have not seen the floors washed at least once all the time.
The beds creak just terribly, and everywhere, at night you could hear the neighbors turning over in bed from above.
Yes, the price is attractive, lower than everyone else's, but further from the center and the sea, I did not expect anything supernatural for such an amount, but at least you can ensure silence, wash the floors once a week.
In general, I do not recommend families and those who are going there for more than 2 days, you will not be able to sleep there!

I spent a week of vacation in the wonderful city of Gagra, lived in the Dolphin guest house, a very cozy place for a relaxing holiday, wonderful good-natured hosts Angela and Arkhip, met very well, Angela immediately treated me to coffee, Arkhip has delicious wine. The week passed very quickly, it was a pity to leave the good-natured hosts and the wonderful beautiful city. I would like to come here again.

We were here in May 2024. I liked everything except the location. Far from the central beach and the market. But the cost is much cheaper than on the first line. The territory is well maintained, the room has air conditioning, a refrigerator and a bathroom.

A wonderful place, not expensive , but very cozy! Homely atmosphere , everything you need , pleasant hospitable hosts Arkhip and Angela . Angela treated us to coffee , Arkhip poured his excellent wine. We will definitely come back again!

I don't recommend it. The rooms are not cleaned, they do not even offer to clean up. The room has a mini fridge, air conditioning (some were constantly repaired). There are a lot of rooms, they give out linen, they can give clean ones for replacement, but you will change them yourself. There are no towels. Not all rooms have a bathroom. But there is a common courtyard, even 2 and a shower room, there was paper, but rarely, maybe the guests left (they also clean up occasionally). There is a shared open kitchen in the courtyard, for a large number of rooms there are only 2 comfortable electric stove and kettle. Dishes, cutlery, pots are in abundance. There were 4 tea cups with us. There is a problem with electricity, it is very weak, or even completely disconnected. There is no electric generator. There is a plus - a washing machine for FREE.Wi-Fi is sooo weak, or it doesn't catch. The owner sells tours. You can be picked up directly from GOST. at home. You can go on your own. Well, to catch up, when you leave, you will be offered to buy homemade chacha, wine (not tasty, they do it better for themselves-they tried it). They treat you to one product, sell you another.

We were here in July 2023. Prepare for the fact that water will be turned off daily (respectively, problems with the toilet), electricity - less often. There are no TVs in most rooms. There is no Internet either, there is barely enough Wi-Fi to read the text. The kitchen is on the street, it has a dream table tile and a bunch of old dishes, no one uses the kitchen. There are several shops nearby. The sea is 2 km away.

Good afternoon, everyone. We rested for 10 days in this Dolphin house. I don't advise anyone. Terrible unsanitary conditions. Everything is as ancient as in Soviet times. The beds and cupboards in the rooms creak, which makes your ears ache. The dishes are all old and rusty. Faucets are running watering cans for the shower too. Cooking tiles from the time of the war are likely to heat up for 30 minutes. At night, the dogs of the neighbors do not let you sleep, in the morning the rooster is crowing. In general, the utter horror.

I'm glad that there is a place to write a review! Since our arrival at the booking was canceled on the 5th day of rest (xs, why).
And so. We did not expect much, knowing perfectly well what the "country of the soul" Abkhazia is. We didn't even hope for the service. As a result, we were not very upset, but we were a little crazy anyway:
1 - Yes, interruptions with water (2 times) and electricity (1 time). The owner Arkhip sent a vacationer to deal with the current... and what about himself? To the indignation of the guests, he vaguely replied, ‘they will do something tomorrow.’
2 - The yard is untidy. We are not against livestock, and we treated local kittens in general, but they have little space and always have something like household goods and basins thrown around.
3 - The kitchen on the street cannot be called a kitchen. A temporary stove with two burners, again cramped and untidy. Our friend was so shocked by this, because she was used to cooking comfortably and being clean. It's about the same in the master kitchen, but the stove is normal.
4 - They take the money in advance, they will not be able to move out with a refund.
5 - The beach is not 15 minutes away, as they promise! 25 minutes at an average pace, to a wild beach through completely incomprehensible courtyards (even for Abkhazia). As a result, we went by car to the central beaches.
6 - Parking sucks! It's not a parking lot either. Cars drive in and stand in a row. If someone needs to leave early the next day, then in the evening in advance everyone has to spend time rearranging cars.
But there are also a couple of advantages:
1 - At the time of arrival, everything in the room is very clean and tidy, the linen is fresh.
2 - The hostess and her daughters are polite, always greet and smile.
That's all there is to tell. I do not recommend driving in without a car and very clean, the rest will be fine.

I do not know who gives high marks to this guest house, but my impressions with my wife are as follows (lived on the 3rd floor)
Water is a disaster! Every time you go to the shower it's like a lucky/unlucky roulette. The shower and faucet are flowing, I will not say anything about adjusting the shower. The refrigerator in the room is just terrible! It hums as if a mixer has been turned on, while not cooling the products. The whole third floor is a barn! The audibility in the rooms is at the highest level, just 10 out of 10, so that you understand - you can hear how the neighbors add or decrease the air conditioner! The beds were squeaky to the point of horror, with the springs sticking in. The whole yard is like in my grandmother's village - chicken droppings, a dog always barking, 4 or 5 cats. The kitchen? - She's not here!!! Do not expect to cook something for yourself there, especially to wash after yourself. Some two dead pans and a couple of the same bowls. There is no hot water to wash the dishes, as well as detergents for this! The owners, these are not the owners, but those who look after the "hangout", that's what we called this house. The viewer only knows how to sell wine and chacha to everyone around, to the state of the house - he doesn't care about the light bulb. The real owner of the house, as I understand it, does not bother either - at least some money is there. The reviews on the booking are only positive, do not be fooled!!! For such a service, it's not that you give money away - you want to spit in the face!

It is not expensive, we were with my wife and child in 2018, there were no interruptions with water, Internet and electricity, as they wrote in two other reviews. There is a cafe on the seashore if you get up at 8 a.m., then you will have time to make breakfast for yourself; salad, tea, sandwich for this dishes will always be found and the owner will take you to the cafe for free, from the beginning it seemed expensive in the cafe for more than 1000 rubles per family for lunch, but when we took out these portions, we realized that with this money, you can eat three adults all day, but not all the dishes are successful, or rather one thing that's a shame is the barbecue, probably just this day there was such tough meat, but everything else, as they say, you lick your fingers, brought wine 2 liters of wine I took for tasting that's what I tried and brought the main thing, see that they pour from this the same barrel from where the cups were poured and sealed in front of you, opened on New Year's eve, in short, we do not sell this for 0.75 per thousand.

The service is on the minus first level. There are constant interruptions in water and electricity. The money is taken in advance for the entire period of stay. If you try to move out, the money is not refunded. The food in the dining room sucks. The beach is half an hour away via railway tracks. A yard full of hungry cats and dogs. We "rested" with a child in 2017.
