We arrived at night, as always. The downpour is like a wall, behind 2500 km, ahead is the acquaintance with Georgia, which I have been dreaming about for three years. We are going uphill to the hotel that we chose in the booking. We arrived and realized that we did not want to live there. We went back down. The gates were open in this house. We went in, found the owner Thomas, he was resting on the second floor. He received us as dear guests and treated us to wine. His wife Inga had prepared a room for us on the third floor at that time. I will say separately about the house, it is amazing- you feel at home, no matter how banal it may sound, a wide staircase with white balusters, high ceilings, a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. The cleanliness is simply impeccable. There was a severe storm on the day of our arrival, the sea is very audible, and it's wonderful. There is only one disadvantage, the border is nearby and cars are driving in both directions all night. We were there for one day, then we came from Gonio, rented a sap from the son of Thomas and Inga. By the way, Sarpi beach is really cool, clean water and round pebbles.
We went to this place according to reviews from the Booking! As it turned out, all the reviews are probably custom-made, since there is nothing good in this place! The hosts are sincere people, but at the end of your stay they will forget about you! About toilet paper, clean towels, bed linen, you will have to take care of yourself! It is not possible to sleep at night, because under the balcony, trucks rattle day and night, dust, smell, etc. , there is nowhere to eat, no infrastructure, there is constantly no light, respectively, problems with Wi-Fi! The only plus is the clear sea! In short, you can write a lot more negative things, but you're just too lazy to write. Bottom line: you need to come for a day from Batumi, sunbathe on the beach and swim, but no more!
