I recently returned from Istanbul and I really, really miss both the city and this wonderful hotel! The weather in Istanbul is harsh in February, and this hotel warmed me with its warmth, peace, and harmony. I returned there every evening with pleasure.
The service is excellent, all the staff are very friendly, always ready to help in any situation.;
I had breakfast every day, because winter is not on the terrace, no, downstairs. but it was a spiritual ritual - to come at dusk, sit down at a table, watch what was happening on the street, taking your time, clarifying the latest details of the upcoming planned walk. The food is plentiful: fruits, vegetables, sausage, sausages, cheese, cheese, eggs, olives, olives, omelets, pastries, halva, butter, jam, honey, yogurt, bread, cakes - I can't even mention everything! and, once again, an atmosphere of relaxation and harmony.
The location couldn't be better, 503 is a beautiful, cozy balcony with a view of the sea and the city. The plumbing is new, the repairs are fresh, all appliances are in order. about audibility, yes, I agree, it was, but it didn't really hurt -1. I fell off my feet every day; 2. there weren't many guests in February, so I just noticed that conversations on the floor from other rooms are audible, yes; 3. I always use earplugs when traveling, if necessary. I repeat, there were few people, the hotel managers did not accommodate guests nearby - only through the room - this is logical;
We cleaned up every day without any requests;
During my stay at the hotel, I had a birthday party - the gift from the hotel was a magnificent chocolate cake! Thanks! I was very touched by the attention and the taste of the food!
I had a great time in the city, thanks in part to this warm, welcoming, wonderful hotel.
Hello everyone, we were at this hotel from 09/22/24- 09/27/24. Good hotel, convenient location, near the square, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Cathedral, Topkapi Palace, everything is within walking distance, near the tram stop. Cozy rooms, the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed. The main feature of the hotel is breakfast on the roof, from where there is a stunning view of the Bosphorus. But in the evening, the roof terrace is closed, this is probably the only disadvantage. I recommend the hotel to those who like to travel
The hotel is super! We took a room with a view of the Marmara Sea! The view is just amazing! They cleaned every day, towels are changed, the room stock is a little old, but the staff is always polite, tries to help in any situation, breakfasts on the terrace with a stunning view are not very diverse, but there are pastries and eggs and cheeses, fruits, salads, sausages, olives, olives, etc.I didn't stay hungry! Everything is fresh! The location is the best, all the sights are at hand, 1 min and you're on the square-it's just around the corner)))) the only thing, if not confused by morning prayer, is that the Sokullu Mehmet Pasha mosque is nearby
Great hotel, the owner is just a wonderful person! The location is great! The breakfasts are not bad, but the view is gorgeous, the room is in excellent condition, clean and tidy! Wonderful!
Good service, the staff speaks a little Russian. The food is delicious and the view of the bay is amazing!The room was new and everything was working in it. Russian channels.
If you want to spoil your vacation and get on your nerves, then you definitely need this hotel. The only 2 advantages are the terrace (if it doesn't rain) and the location, that's it.
If you are lucky and you will not be accommodated in a room with a cardboard door in the wall (and in fact this is one large room that is issued for 2) and you will not listen to your neighbors pee or talk or dry their hair, then most likely the hotel will have some problems with the light, the elevator does not work for 2 days, periodically there is no hot water, there is no Wi-Fi and the generator buzzes throughout the hotel, which they refuse to turn off, and because of this hum you simply will not be able to sleep.
To all your complaints, complaints and requests, the hotel administrators will simply throw up their hands and say that this is not their problem. And to the question of how you sleep with such noise, the answer is "we don't know."
The hotel is definitely not 4 stars, it's not worth the money. The rooms themselves are tired, torn towels, the breakfasts are the same, sometimes there is something missing from the already meager menu.
So it's a shame!
I've been choosing a one-night hotel in Istanbul for so long!
And according to the reviews, I liked this hotel!
But it's just terrible (((
With tears in your eyes, you can stay in the room!
Well, the first and most important thing that upset me
We were given not one large bed, but two small ones with the words You wanted it yourself
Although it was impossible to choose and I did not book two separate ones!
The air conditioner is installed so that you can wake up and go straight to the hospital😅blows right in your face)!
Well, of course you can turn it off
Audibility is at a height, you can hear all the neighbors!))
You know, there aren't even any towels, well, how can I not give you towels?
I don't advise you to take the word away at all
And there was no Internet
Apparently they save money
We lived for several nights in December 2023. The room was good in terms of furniture and renovation. I understand that not all rooms are newly furnished, so some reviews are negative. The hair dryer is powerful and modern. The bathroom renovation is also quite modern. There are tiles everywhere on the floor, so it's cold in winter. This is a minus. And we don't like to warm the air with a conditioner. The blankets are warm, they didn't freeze at night. In addition, there are warm spare blankets in the closet. But still there was not enough heat in the sukhoi room. They do not give an electric heater for fear that it will blow out the plugs. We went to several nearby hotels. This hotel was at the lowest price and at the same time the best in terms of facilities and condition. There is no drinking water in the room!!! But there is a minimarket nearby. You can buy water there. There is a kettle and cups in the room. There are no bathrobes. There are slippers. you need to look at different numbers and choose a new one. And we also had a sea view-it's chic! The view certainly gives other impressions. Breakfasts, as elsewhere in Istanbul, in modest hotels. Quite modestly. Boiled egg, sausages in tomato sauce, cheese, sausage, cucumbers, tomatoes, cupcake, apples, oranges. Tea, coffee, juice, milk, cereal. Omelet is not always available.
The staff is quite courteous and polite. It is beautiful to eat on the terrace, because the sea view. The hotel is at the right height. If you live below, then it is hard to rise constantly to the whole of life. Here, 5 minutes and you are near the Godub Mosque, Hagia Sophia, tram, etc. no steep ascents. I recommend the hotel, as we have lived in the other two and watched a few and have something to compare it with.
Of course, Istanbul has become very expensive. The Basilica cistern is 1000 lire per person. Going with the family is already expensive. And this is considering that for Turks the price is 80 lira. I'm sorry, but this is too much. Thank you, of course, that at least they managed to get to Hagia Sophia for free, but they will soon make it paid.It is necessary, of course, to take into account that it will be expensive to visit all the sights with your family. Go everywhere in the evening-there is much less queue. The rest of the time, it's just terrible. You can stand all day. The average check for one dish without drinks, salad and dessert is 200 lire per person. It is impossible to find something cheaper. But the portions are usually large. With children, you can share a portion for two. The hotel bought a boat tour of the Bosphorus for 19 euros per person. Everything went well. Like it. Clothes are cheaper in the Laleli area. You can walk or take the tram a couple of stops.
I liked everything, the staff is nice and friendly, they will always help you, they know different languages, both Russian and English and Arabic, so there will be no problems with this.Even if you come in the middle of the night, they will come and greet you. The rooms are also good, cleaned every day. I liked the price, the price compared to other hotels was very good and there are breakfasts.
The disadvantage is that there is nowhere to wash things, only with your hands in the room or somewhere to take to the laundry for money. Water,tea in the room for a fee.
There is a beautiful view of the sea, if you are not lucky with the room, then you can see the sea on the street)
The hotel left a good impression. Convenient location, within walking distance of the main attractions of Istanbul. A cozy, friendly atmosphere. The rooms are clean. Cleaning every day. Towels were changed the same way every day. The breakfasts are modest, but hearty. The staff is very friendly and friendly, they always try to help with any questions that arise. The only disadvantage for us is that you can smoke in the Lobby area. That's why she seems slightly smoky. Overall, the experience of the hotel is pleasant. I don't mind going back there again. I recommend.
Friendly staff, convenient location, quite comfortable and clean, breakfasts are normal, panoramic views on the roof are no worse than observation decks
We were here in early October. The hotel has mixed impressions.
Positive:
- location, transport in relative proximity, as well as the main attractions;
- if you're lucky, a view of the sea;
- pretty efficient staff;
- there are great cafes nearby.
However, there are also disadvantages:
- tired rooms (old furniture, soft mattress, torn linen, mold in the bathroom);
- very sad breakfasts, we lived there for a week, on the 4th day we went to eat in other places;
- IT was smoky, the smell rose from the hall into the rooms, every night they fell from the persistent stench, there is no other way to call it.
We're definitely not going back there.
Breakfast is very weak. You have to wait until the table is free. The assortment corresponds to 2 stars (not 3).

Genius loci
I got hooked on Istanbul after the cancellation of direct flights to Egypt. Transit "sorties" from Ataturk Airport were replaced by special flights both in winter and in the young month of April "for tulips". Several novels by Orhan Pamuk were read, Sergei Ivanov's "pro-Prustean" monograph "Walking around Istanbul in search of Constantinople"...
The choice of Daphne was made with topographically sniper meticulousness. I join the positive reviews regarding cleanliness, high-quality service, and friendly staff. Gökhan's manager promptly and professionally resolved any issues. The rooms are bright, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning is working, the linen and towels are clean, cleaning every day, hot water. The bathroom has a wall-mounted cosmetic mirror with magnification. Decent breakfasts with three types of cheese. On the floors there are reproductions of floor mosaics of the Grand Imperial Palace from the Mosaic Museum.
I want to focus on the main advantage of the hotel – its unique location, its Genius of the place! 200 meters to the Hippodrome Square, 7-8 minutes super-promenade past the Egyptian obelisk to Sultanahmet tram stop. Moreover, the descent to the hotel from the "tram" Divan Yolu Cd. It is quite gentle along all trajectories, and further down to the sea along Su Terazisi Sk. the descent is already steep, thanks to this, the windows offer a magnificent and breathtaking view of the sunlit Marmara Sea and ships in the infinity horizon. This stunning view is picturesquely and spiciously emphasized by the silhouettes of the Sokollu Mehmed Pasha Mosque and an ancient Byzantine column topped with a capital. Go to the right - a cozy Kadirga area with an authentic hammam.
Apparently, the hotel is named after the part of the Great Imperial Palace, which was called Daphne - in honor of the statue of the nymph Daphne brought from Rome... I carefully and inquisitively wandered through Eminem, Beyoglu with Istiklal and the jungle of alleys around the Museum of Innocence... The conclusion and the choice for next visits was obvious - Hotel Daphne is in a heartwarming proximity to the unfathomable grandeur of Hagia Sophia!
The hotel disappointed us!
We got room 305, all rooms with end 5 overlooking the roof of the barn with cats. The furniture is old, the handle is broken, the glass is broken, there are mug prints on the tables.
The room is dirty and it has not become cleaner in 5 days, cleaning is changing towels and opening the window at +5! They don't even make the beds, I doubt they clean the floors either!
There is no kettle in the room.
Tea/coffee in the lobby is paid and it's 4*!!!
Be just as prepared that no one speaks Russian in the hotel!
The breakfasts are equally meager.
The toaster is broken (you need to hold the handle so that the toasts are fried), jam, butter, bread of 1 type, cheese and sausage of 1 type, boiled eggs, cold omelet. Cucumbers and tomatoes. Cupcake, cereal, tea, coffee, juice type something.
There is no terrace! Breakfast in the lobby.
The
location is the only plus of this hotel, BUT there are a lot of hotels in this area, I advise you to choose another one!!!
Friends rented a 3* luxury hotel with a terrace, cheaper and much better!!
I was here at the beginning of December! I would not say that this hotel is 4*. Very old furniture, an old mattress, torn linen, an old hair dryer and sometimes it doesn't work if you dry your hair for a long time, and a very dirty room.
I lived there for a week. As long as you don't ask them to change the bed linen, room cleaning is generally zero dust everywhere. The room is very cold, the air conditioning is good, the floor is cold anyway. Very sad breakfasts. When you have breakfast and there they calmly sweep up all the dust and fly to your table where you eat. Talking very loudly to each other in Turkish! The cleaner removes your things without your permission, the package disappears after shopping, especially things do not fit in the suitcase and there is no package! And my electronic cigarette was missing and no one saw it! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT
It feels like I came here to live for free
A small cozy hotel, very good location, good breakfasts, friendly staff, only tea outside of breakfast is expensive, our standard cup is 12 lira)

The hotel is clearly not 4 stars tired, the rooms are poorly cleaned even if you leave a tip.The staff is friendly, there is a Russian-speaking Georgian woman, a good person.Breakfasts are scarce so that you don't starve to death, you can go here but for cheap
