We visited the dacha of our former ruler Gorbachev M. S. the other day ...
We came from the sea, on the legendary motor ship
"Heroes of Abkhazia". .
And fast and convenient and comfortable.
A gorgeous place that does not require descriptions..
Many thanks to the guide Aida, for her interesting and informative tour, we learned a lot, and we made conclusions:

Raisa Maksimovna's taste was on top and very budget .... 4000 sq.m. the square footage of the cottage, where there was not even a place for a kitchen. It was built as a separate building with an underground passage to the main one.
And the tunnel made in the mountain is 130 meters long: take a ride on a trolley, take an elevator down to the sea and enjoy a sea swim... Although it is 50 meters from the house to the shore.
It was necessary to think of such a thing - just "The beauty of the mind"....
But unfortunately there is no way to inspect everything, the upper floors have been converted into rooms for rent and there is no entrance for a simple tourist.
I had to settle for little, but still, the impression remained positive...

The place, the idea itself, is gorgeous. But the fact that the Gorbachevs spent people's money in the country, where Gorbachev himself never came, and Raisa, who built /rebuilt / completed all this, did not even spend a night here, I will leave without comment. People were queuing for sausage and bread, and these were freaking out with fat...
The Soviet Union collapsed, and the 93-year-old war in Abkhazia put an end to this luxury villa. There are no words, but the Abkhazians have the talent to launch, plunder, and destroy everything.
What are the handmade silk Chinese wallpapers that cockroaches ate in front of our eyes in the billiard room during our visit? Yes, yes, there were 5 pieces on the walls and no one gets rid of them, no one cares.
The indifference of the Abkhazians is surprising - the country froze in 93, and remained there. Ruin is everywhere, and even what is left in excellent condition cannot be maintained. Italian marble falls off the walls (apparently to their delight), and it is most likely sold immediately.
It will take another 10 years and you will not see this cottage, because everything will be stolen and demolished.

Nice quiet gorgeous place! Very clean and cozy! Nature is gorgeous))) the sea is simply divine, clean, beautiful, and most importantly warm))) the sun is bright, it warms wonderfully)))
