A very nice hotel for Muscat with its own private beach. Cleaning every day. Beach towels are changed at any time during the day when the guest needs them. Spacious rooms, good air conditioning. The disadvantages are very expensive restaurants at the hotel, many times more expensive than street restaurants.
It's a good hotel, and it has a very interesting beach. But the service could have been better. The breakfasts are not bad, there is some variety, but it's almost the same every day.

Today I want to share my impressions about the Crowne Plaza Muscat 4 hotel*
1. Location
The transfer from the airport takes 20-25 minutes.
Upon arrival, they were given a paper stating that a free shuttle service to the Sultan Qaboos Mosque was provided 2 times a day.
2. The territory
It is small, but comfortable and pleasant. There is a two-level swimming pool with panoramic sea views and a small pool under a canopy, two tennis courts, a gym and a fitness studio (mats, balls, cubes - for stretching, Pilates, etc.), a SPA center. There is a parking lot next to the hotel.
If it is relevant for someone: you can use the conference room.
3. The room
Decorated in bright colors, large beds and balconies (there are rooms without balconies). The hotel is not new, but I did not feel it in any way - the furniture is scuff-free, good bed linen.
If you are vacationing with a family, there are rooms with folding sofas, and an extra bed can also be put in the room.
4. Nutrition
There are 4 restaurants on site, a pool bar and an English pub with a large selection of alcohol. From beer on taps Amstel, Tiger, Hoegaarden, Leffe, Stella Artois, Peroni.
The main restaurant overlooks the sunset.
The breakfasts are good: at least 3-4 types of cheese, 4-5 types of sausages/meat, red fish, cereals and yoghurts. The staff prepares scrambled eggs, benedict, omelette, waffles. There were smoothies (I liked mango).
Every day there is a new cuisine for dinner: Chinese, Asian, Omani, Japanese, etc. Fresh and cooked vegetables, seafood. Not a bad shawarma.
From fruits/The berries were: tangerines, apples, bananas, pears, nectarines, watermelons, rambutan, plums, strawberries, passion fruit.
The dessert table also pleased: cupcakes, croissants, cakes, ice cream, cakes (both sweet and sour).
5. Entertainment
There is no active entertainment in the hotel. In the evening, the DJ plays by the pool until 22:00, you can sit on the outdoor area in upholstered chairs with a stunning view of the sunset. I saw a foosball table.
6. The beach
The hotel is located on the shores of the Gulf of Oman. Descent to the bay by a small staircase. The beach is sandy with a gentle entrance into the water. There are quite large tides. The sun beds are located at a sufficient distance from each other.
7. The overall impression
A good hotel at a reasonable price for a relaxing holiday. The atmosphere is very friendly.
