A wonderful hotel. A huge swimming pool! The territory is clean and renovated. The food is varied, there is plenty to choose from. The hotel staff is polite and always ready to help. The only drawbacks are entering the sea, but we bought aquashouses at the hotel in the store and the problem disappeared! I recommend the hotel.
We rested here in July 2024. We read the reviews and were a little upset..... BUT! Upon arrival, everything turned out to be much better! The hotel is great, big, lots of space. On the first day, we even thought that we were alone in the hotel at all) But, at dinner, we saw the people) The territory is compact, everything is nearby, my children went to the water park themselves, I could see them sitting in another pool! Everything is clean and tidy! The staff is new (as we were told), they try very hard - they clean everywhere, paint something. There is no animation (Yes, there is dancing by the pool), and that's it!But it didn't matter to us)The music is playing - and it's already pleasing! The pools are clean, they don't stink of chlorine, then there were more people, but no one crowded into the pool, swam, dived comfortably! The pool seats, of course, were occupied before breakfast) The sea is just chic! On the beach of the hotel, the entrance is knocked out through the slabs, 5-6 meters in length, and everyone goes in there, then the sand) We found a place next to the pier on the right - there is generally a gorgeous entrance - no slabs, no stones! The sea is the purest! We walked further to the right along the beach (we had previously rested at the MC Arancia hotel, so we went to it), so there the sea is just terrible - backwaters with stagnant, green water! But who likes what) Food - there is enough of everything, there is always meat of different types, fish, mashed potatoes (sooo delicious), fries, fried on the grill every evening - very tasty! The only thing that I didn't like (well, I didn't like it, it's just stated in the services, but, in fact, it's not) - slot machines for children on the lower floor of the hotel didn't work (The staff is polite, only one speaks Russian, he's probably the main one, they solve all issues right away! A pastry shop is generally a bomb! Everything is very tasty! We always went up there right after dinner)Wishes to the hotel - plant more greenery, flowers! But, the owner has changed, I think that all this will appear soon!I recommend it!And yes, it's a long way to go from the airport, but we took an individual transfer - and we got to other hotels without stops and arrivals in 1 hour 40 minutes, with comfort! We caught Wi-Fi even in the room! We picked up the password - and everything worked fine! No need to complain - look for the exits yourself! Relax and enjoy your vacation!
We had a rest for 7 nights from 10/14/2024. - the hotel was half empty, except for the Turkish friends from the province who came over for the weekend.
I have never written long reviews, but it is necessary here, because the information about the hotel is contradictory.
Don't believe the reviews on 4 and 5. I admit that if the hotel was declared as 3 + or 4, then it would be possible to rate it at 4. The advantages left over from the once brave real 5*:
1. the size of the beach and territory, as well as the hotel itself, rooms and balconies, cleanliness of the pools.
2. free wi-fi, works in the room, and in most of the territory (you need to connect to both the common and your block), does not pull on the beach.
3. water slides (although fading, and not working by 30%, some with relief irregularities, one inflatable circle at all - there are such nuances that you do not want to drive again), but they (slides) are there.
4. Friendly staff (there were very few of them, in particular, they were completely absent from the beach and water slides, sometimes at the bar - by the end of the season there were even fewer of our holidays).
THAT's ALL on the plus side. Everything else is a solid minus.
1. The SPA is not working, it is half abandoned, with a pungent smell of mold, mustiness and abandonment.
On the first day, a single person with a SPA price showed a cool sauna and a hammam with dim local lighting, then disappeared altogether, the light in the SPA was not turned on for the rest of the rest, but the door was not closed, there was even a free visit to the hammam promised in the announcement at the entrance to the SPA in Turkish in a clumsy handwriting 11.00 to 13.00. Paid, respectively, too. The condition of the former gym is similar – a more pungent smell of mold, a hole in the ceiling with sagging wires, BUT not closed. It is difficult to assess the performance of simulators, I do not practice.
2. At least a third of the building is abandoned, in a sad and deplorable condition, like the rooms, only 2 of the 6 sockets worked in the room, the shower did not switch to the watering can, it was half-rusty, but, well done, they reacted quickly and fixed the shower, but forget about the sockets. A toilet bowl with a persistent ingrained smell. The water is always hot, except when it is most needed before dinner: it is barely warm, it is unpleasant to wash your head (this is with minimal occupancy). In a similar condition, both the refrigerator and the tea station (WHY is it even in the absence of packaged tea and coffee not only in the room, but also in the entire hotel - they are nowhere. Other vacationers had a rusty kettle inside), and mattresses on the beds and towels, a nominally working air conditioner (it is not common, but hangs by the window and blows on the headboards, its work is not cooling, but weak blowing, at +29 outside - cooling at +17 gave a light breeze, plus even with the balcony door closed, he could just pass out). There was also a disgusting smell of mold from pillows and bedspreads that replaced blankets - they managed to ventilate on the balcony in the sun.
3. No bar, toilet, changing rooms on the beach! You need to go to the adult slides — there are 3 pots for all female vacationers and 3 for men, the absence of urns and toilet paper in this toilet (sometimes there were remnants in a small roll, and then the first 2 days), broken handles in the toilet. There is no other toilet throughout the LARGE territory and near the main dining room, called the restaurant. You need to run or go to the next floor, where the reception is — there are as many as 2 of them, but with broken and eternally flowing toilets, lack of paper and cleanliness.
4. The canteen is a separate song. Vacationers said that it was better until the tenth of October. But we are vacationers too!!! The line was reduced by more than 2/3. It is bad, and very bad, frankly poor and beggarly for Turkey in general, not to mention the declared 5*. I've been to Turkey about 25 times, only three times in 4*, but even there it was 2 times better, tastier, more assortment — "YAROSLAVNA'S LAMENT". In the snack bar, and indeed everywhere, the sauce is only tomato, there is no mayonnaise or anything else, and there was not always tomato chymose in the snack bar. Disgusting pastry — chymose in different colors on sweet bread, baklava is always made of rancid nuts. First the watermelons disappeared, then the sliced oranges and later the melon, by the arrival of the Turks the watermelon was returned, then the dying melon. Only apples have remained stable all the time — and this is in Turkey, in the "season of everything". As they say, they did not stay hungry, they did not get poisoned — they are already normal. Yes, they have breakfast at 8.00, never at 7.00. However, upon prior request, lunch boxes were given for early departure (they were quite decent).
5. Drinks. The plastic glasses are gray, the glass in the alcoholic wine bar is all streaked and streaked, and I don't find fault with that much. "Juices" - sweet chymose. In 2 out of 4 bars (including alcohol), the eternal absence of Cola is zero. Everywhere fanta smells of bleach, sprite and cola are normal. Tea is only in teapots, in recent days only 2 teapots and one boiler with boiling water have been left in the dining room, the tap of which was tied with a white cloth, boiling water "seeped" in drops nearby. Coffee in coffee machines - (as everywhere powdered, no), cocoa from there, also called hot chocolate, people liked it.
6. The absence of trash cans on the beach near the sun beds, there are only a couple near the wooden decking, and, as a result, a lot of cigarette butts and pieces of paper (I consider this more a lack of culture of vacationers and disrespect for other vacationers). Dirty mattresses on the sun beds and super dirty tables by the sun beds. At this point, room cleaning is nominally available, but it is not. I always leave ~ 2 dollars or the equivalent ($ + a chocolate bar, lira + a chocolate bar, 200 rubles), but in return only a goose from a towel on the first day and a change of a foot towel, a lot of toilet paper. I didn't wipe the mirror with a special cloth — it remained so splattered. The same situation is with the floor and the sink. I will say, by the way, plus that there was shampoo and gel (different vials) in hanging dispensers — very convenient, more slippers - and these are still echoes of former luxury from the former 5 *.
7. One could put up with all the previous ones, but the CHERRY on the CAKE is the COMPLETE lack of animation. at all. At the very least, the team of "animators", which were written about in previous reviews, seems to have been completely disbanded before our arrival. No beach volleyball, no polo, no aerobics. We played volleyball on the left on the beach with the neighbors from the 4* Misal hotel. We HAVE NOTHING AT ALL. There is absolutely nothing to do in the evenings after dinner. My grandfather (part-time guard at the barrier at the entrance to the hotel) from 21.00 to 23.00, except Sunday, sang well and cleanly, but something very sooooo mournful-Turkish folk, albeit atmospheric, but in the absence of another considered by vacationers as a funeral prayer to this hotel.
The hotel has a strict economy mode for EVERYTHING. One person feels good and does not save on himself — this is, apparently, the head manager - a gray—haired thin man with a stylish hairstyle ("gel-styled hair on end"), in strangely stylish or with a "dovecote tint" clothes and shoes, who always sits in the dining room on the left at the entrance, does smart-preoccupied and busy, never smiles and never greets anyone.
I do not recommend the hotel.
