We had a rest from November 14th to 24th. The weather is comfortably warm (23 at night, 29 in the afternoon), there is almost no wind, the sun is gentle, the sea is warm and calm. The hotel is good on a solid 4. Beautiful blooming and green territory, they take great care, which cannot be said about the cleaning of the rooms. The rooms are old, there has been no repair for a very long time, it is clear that somewhere they tried to patch up the flaws, but poorly. The bathroom is just very old. There's nothing for the squeamish to do here. Towels are changed 1 time in 5 days and then when you remind yourself. The bed linen has not been changed for 10 days. The floors were washed and garbage was removed daily, but the dust from the table and the sink in the bathroom were not touched. We left $1 each for tea. In general, almost all the staff there expects tips for any minimal actions included in their duties. At the same time, everyone is very polite, smiling, joking. In general, communication is very good, tourists are loved. No one bothers or imposes any services. Almost everyone speaks Russian and quite well.
About food. It is without frills, but no one was hungry. And meat and vegetables, fish, fruits, pastries. Soups and porridges, everything is there, there is also a separate room for children in the dining room. There were a lot of guests at our check-in, so finding an empty table in the dining room was a three-time quest. But the management is lame, the second dining room was not always opened, and it was closed faster than the main one.
It's the same story with sunbeds on the beach. There are much fewer of them than vacationers. And if you consider that many tourists come to the beach at 7 a.m. and take ice packs for themselves and for friends, then there is no place for people who came to the beach after breakfast at 9 a.m.. We lay several times just on towels on the sand. For $ 2, the beach staff will find and bring you a chaise longue. Beach towels are provided 1 time per day. Therefore, when leaving for lunch, people do not hand them over, but leave them on a chaise longue. Such a beautiful reef has never been seen anywhere! The beach is super, it's just a paradise for children. The room stock is a little outdated, BUT everything you need for a good holiday is there! Cleaning is daily, if something is needed, they will always help (what was my surprise when we asked for a cot and thought they would bring a playpen as usual, but then the shock came- they brought us a good wooden cot!). There are 5 swimming pools on the territory (children's, water park and heated by the sea), cleaned daily, no infections have been picked up. The hotel territory is not large (to whom), but very well maintained, beautiful! As for the restaurant: we were not hungry, there is always something to eat, yes, the food seems monotonous after a week, but in my opinion it is present in any hotel! Grilled dishes are always served for dinner, there are a lot of sweets, the fish is very tasty! I fed a 2-year-old child without any problems, I have soups for lunch and dinner. There is a children's room next to the restaurant. There were 3 of us in the room, but the cleaner put 2 bottles of water and shampoo daily for 2 people too. It feels like he came into the room just to check and pick up his tips, which we regularly left, hoping for a better attitude. With or without tips, the result is the same- an unwashed floor and dirty towels.We were housed next to Ukrainians, who played their nationalist songs to the fullest several times. I asked for help from the Pegasus guide at the hotel. He complained that we were housed nearby and that was the end of his "help". Like, solve your own problems. By the way, there are an incredible number of Ukrainians living there. They behave defiantly and the hotel staff does not stop it in any way. The food is monotonous, on the 7th day it began to strain. Small children ate almost nothing except breakfast cereals, French fries and hot dogs. Pasta and pasta are terrible. It is not clear what kind of sauce they need to be poured to like. Only meat, chicken, and fish heads helped out. In general, poor nutrition, fruits are tasteless. I'm tired of rice everywhere. Crumpled potatoes are so-so. The child didn't like her. We were the first to arrive for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, I note that none of us lost weight.))) There were desserts made of puffs, cakes. We tried wine at the beginning, sour. We decided not to take alcohol here.

I am writing a review while resting at the moment in this hotel (14.11.-24.11.24).
Pros:
1) Great reef! There are moray eels, turtles, stingrays, lionfish, colorful huge moluski and much more that live in great abundance in the red sea;
2) beautiful, landscaped area with ever-flowering plants; good evening lighting of the hotel ; many pools, bars, secluded cozy places; large multi-level territory.
3) close to the old town (5-7 minutes by taxi, price -$2-3 one way), Soho (5 minutes for $ 2 one way, airport (20 minutes-$5-6)
4) there are many different activities for children, including a water park.
5) the animation is normal, but for an amateur)). Some tourists behave on stage, to put it mildly, vulgarly and spoil the whole performance. Heavily drunk tourists on stage amuse themselves and their friends, of course, they don't care about the rest. Many spectators got up and left. Well, maybe this is the norm and you'll have fun😊
Minuses:
1) The standard rooms are shabby, the furniture is old, everything in the bathtub is screwed askew and held on snot, the water pressure is weak - you can't really wash during rush hours, there is no electric kettle, no mugs, no glasses, ashtrays, napkins in the room-NOTHING!!! There is no sign -DO NOT DISTURB OR GET OUT!!! Towels are not changed in the room during cleaning-they are just beautifully folded and that's it. Well, if you thank the cleaners, then they will bring the marathon and change the towels)).
About television: there is only one Russian-speaking channel - Kazakh, without news and movies.
2) The beach is very small for such a huge hotel, there are not enough sunbeds at all. If you want to tan comfortably, then run at 6 a.m. with a towel and things to the beach in a crowd of tourists to take sun beds))).
3) The restaurant is more like a dining room, with tourists fighting for food, huge queues for grilled meat, fried eggs, sliced fruits. It's creepy!
There are not enough plates and appliances, so the waiters will take away your plate of food that you have been collecting for so long, if you suddenly went out for drinks for 5 minutes))).
And the food is ordinary, without frills, you will not stay hungry.
4) There are a lot of mosquitoes on the territory. It's a pity to look at children-they're all bitten, and so badly, as if they had chickenpox or measles. Take mosquito repellents and more!!
5) Check-in from 14-00, check-out until 12-00.

6) Hotel guides actively impose excursions, half of which are complete bullshit, complaints have been heard more than once. By the way, do not believe the hotel guides that the insurance is valid only if you buy excursions from them-THE INSURANCE IS VALID THROUGHOUT EGYPT!!! We didn't buy anything from them-we took it from the locals. Bargain, you can get good discounts on excursions!

From November 22 to December 2, my family and I vacationed in Sharm el Sheikh at the Contenental plaza Hotel.
I want to share my impressions of this hotel.
The 4* hotel. I will not stop at the description, everyone can come in and read / watch.
Check-in: we arrived at the hotel at about 10:30, we were supposed to check in at 14:00. But at 12 we were already in the room. No one asked for money. The suitcases were helped to carry.
The sea: The "frog house" is the first 2-3 meters, then the corals and stones begin. It's better to be in coral. Into the depths only through the pontoon. The reef is very beautiful. There are a lot of fish. There is another plus, there is an abandoned hotel nearby, where you can safely walk to the beach. There are practically no people there, the reef is also beautiful, there seem to be even more fish.
The only disadvantage is that when the season of sun loungers may not be enough, you need to book in the morning, before breakfast.
Food: it has always been: vegetables of all kinds, fruits. Side dishes: pasta of several types, rice of several types, mashed potatoes and fried. Meat is always beef, chicken. There are different types of fish every day. Sometimes they gave crabs (3 times in 10 days).
There are also 2 restaurants on site: oriental and Italian. You need to make an appointment for them in advance, from 8 a.m. on the day of the visit.
Everything is very tasty, both in the main restaurant and in the additional ones.
Animation: On the day of our last vacation, the animators had their last working day at this hotel. They moved to another hotel as a group. I don't know how the new animators will be, but I really liked the old ones: friendly, active, smiling, they were able to stir everyone up.
The rooms are not new, but everything works. Plasma TV, with 1 Russian channel. We lived in a family room, each room has a bathroom, wardrobe, TV, telephone, hair dryer. Cleaning every day, the swans were turned around, although we did not leave tips. Wi-Fi catches everywhere, both in the room and on the beach. Somewhere is better, somewhere is worse, but you will not be left without a connection.

We had a rest on October 24, just returned. It's not even 3 stars, it's worse. We really regretted that we did not read the reviews on tophotels, but only here.
The only advantage of the hotel is the colorful reef. Everything else can be called briefly - a hole!
The rooms are dead, the food is disgustingly tasteless and spicy, the choice is 5 dishes at most and you have to stand in line with a plate for 15 minutes. Moreover, the fruits are portioned and this is the turn for another 10 minutes. Only sweets are delicious, their choice is also rich.
I'm not talking about hunting at the tables, only those who came first are sitting. Drinks are given in tiny plastic cups, 100 grams. Even tea will be in a cardboard mini cup of 50 grams, which is impossible to hold in your hand - it burns! Coffee and ice cream for a fee - 1 dollar. There are no snacks.
Upon arrival at 16, they entered the room and waited 20 minutes for cleaning, although they officially check in at 14. As a result, the floors are in someone else's hair, I won't say anything about plumbing. I paid $ 5 and asked to clean everything efficiently, we stood and waited again. There is no drying for swimsuits, they can only be hung on chairs.
There are no lounge areas where you can sit and listen to music in the evening, or play games with your family. Just a lobby full of people, where everyone comes for a normal Internet connection.
The pantone is short but broken. On the third day of our stay, someone fell off it and began a leisurely repair.
Wi-fi is only an icon, in fact, communication is only at the reception, nothing could be opened in the room, they went to send photos and call the lobby and there were crowds of them.
The audience is Russians, Ukrainians and Poles. There are no Europeans, they don't go to such a hole.
At the entrance to the hotel there is a shop, masks and fins for the price of Ozone. Mangoes are also sold there for $ 1, but I did not notice a difference in taste with mangoes from BB.
To summarize, I have not seen such a disrespectful and tactless service towards tourists anywhere else! Only the lady at the guest relations table is friendly, the staff frankly hates all tourists and croaks something on their own, discussing the guests. I saw it both in the restaurant and on the beach.
I highly recommend that you think about it and weigh everything. 12 years ago it was quite a decent International, but now it is a place where hunger and disappointment await you if you are used to good food and service in five-star Turkey. It's worth paying a little extra and getting decent service. Still, this is a long-awaited vacation.

I haven't been to Egypt for 10 years, I realized that during this time my favorite hotels were closed, and I didn't understand where to go, I was traveling alone, so I decided that I wouldn't walk alone in Nayama, and decided to take a remote hotel. And it's in vain that Nayama and Soho Square are completely safe places for a promenade, they will be happy to take you there from the hotel for 2-3 dollars.
But now about the hotel. Winter, so a bunch of pools on the territory are not really needed, everyone hangs out in heated pools and at sea, because of this it seems that the territory is simply too small.
There is a fairly large part of the beach up to the coral, where there is a beautiful sunset, and the pantone is microscopic. The sun beds are all occupied by someone since the morning. These same people are creating ceremonial queues everywhere. Registration in the video card is carried out at 8:30, people line up at 7, and before that at 6, after throwing a towel on the beach, book a chaise longue. Drinking alcohol, as in all of Egypt, is simply disgusting. You can drink beer and wine, but wine is served only for lunch and dinner in the main restaurant. They say you can buy whiskey for an additional fee of 7 bucks, they say it's not bad. I didn't try it, I lapped up what I got in dutik. There is also a Dutch free in the old town, where you need to check your passport, and if you are sold alcohol within three days of arrival.
The reef and the fish in the hotel are very beautiful.

We arrived at the hotel at 16.00 at the reception, they said that the room was not very possible, we paid an additional $ 50, decided not to change it, the room was located in the area of the water park, in order to get to the sea, we had to walk, but the territory of the hotel is very well maintained and beautiful, which is rather a plus for me.
The room itself was terrible - there was dirt and mold in the bathroom, the curtains and curtains were dirty, the snowstorm was terrible, but all these disadvantages pale in comparison with the sea, the reef - I didn't want to climb out of the sea, the territory, the staff.
As for the cuisine, we had enough of everything: there was always chicken, beef, fish, shrimp and crab were served one evening, in general, you won't stay hungry, the only thing I didn't have enough fruit, there was a very small assortment (melon, dates, and oranges with grapefruits)once a week there were strawberries and apples in the evening.
The animation is great during the day and water aerobics, zumba, stretching, it's boring in the evening- there's nothing to do at the hotel after 20.00, even go to bed and sleep, so we often went out into the city
We ordered a taxi through the InDrive app, it's cheaper than booking at the hotel, we went to the old town, to Soho, I also advise you to visit the Mince cafe at sunset-a very cool place, in the evening they light lanterns in it and it's incredibly beautiful.

We were here in the first half of February 2025.

The hotel has a heated pool by the beach, as well as both well-heated pools in the water park area (both a shallow children's pool with a depth of 55 cm and an adult pool with slides 120 cm deep). The water park area is open from 10 to 12 and from 14 to 16. They won't let you swim there during the rest of the day.

Breakfast always includes omelets, porridges, pancakes, donuts, lots of delicious pastries, and a separate area for making individual omelets/scrambled eggs (there is also a zone nearby where fresh tortillas are baked in the oven-I recommend it).
At lunch and dinner, there are always soups, pasta, rice, baked vegetables, meat in several forms, fish usually deep-fried, delicious desserts (mostly cakes). Wine and spirits are also freely available.
At all meals, a variety of vegetables (sliced and in salads), fruits (guava, melon, tangerines / oranges), additional fruits can be taken on a separate counter - they are beautifully sliced and served. Drinks: tea, coffee, soda, water, juices are always available.
There is also a separate area for children - there is also a buffet, small tables, and cartoons.
In general, the food is delicious.
There are two a la carte restaurants: Italian and barbecue. Upon arrival, by appointment, you can visit any of them twice. We went to Italian both times. For my taste, the main restaurant is tastier and more diverse. For example, in an Italian restaurant, Caesar salad is just lettuce leaves with mayonnaise and a couple of pieces of chicken. But the pizza in the restaurant is really delicious, and that's why we went there a second time.
The territory is large and well maintained. The hotel itself is located on an elevation relative to the beach. There are 4 elevators in the building with reception and restaurant. The territory itself has a system of descents in the form of stairs and ramps (sloping paths), so that it is possible to move around the territory and only along the paths, bypassing the steps.
There are no elevators in the buildings with numbers, only stairs. My small children and I lived on the ground floor, ideal for strollers.
Herons, turtle doves and hoopoes constantly inhabit the territory - they were regularly encountered.
The beach is wonderful, very fine pleasant sand in the lounge area. By the way, the problem with deck chairs described in other reviews (when locals occupy them and release them for a fee) We weren't watching. The occupancy rate at the beginning of February was clearly low, and there were always plenty of free sun beds (both on the beach and by the pool).
Panton's coral reef is beautiful, and there are plenty of different fish. A small stingray with blue spots was seen a couple of times off the coast.
Drinks are available at the beach bar, and snacks in the form of French fries and burgers are also available until 1 p.m.
Ice cream everywhere (in the beach bar and in the lobby bar) will be charged - 1 dollar per ball.
There is a shop at the hotel, you can buy a snack or a swimming mask, but the prices are too high, as is usually the case in such stores.
20min from the hotel is the old town with lots of restaurants and shops.
There is a paid shuttle service from the hotel every evening ($3 per person), which must be booked in advance at a special desk in the afternoon. Or you can order a taxi there.
By numbers.
We rented three rooms for our company: a two-room family room in building 7 (with 4 beds). Extended one-room apartment in building 7 (for 3 beds). And a double standard in building 1.
The furniture is outdated and creaky everywhere. It didn't bother us, we were ready for it. The bathrooms are all normal, clean, with a bathtub. The air conditioners are noisy but cool well. The hot water in the faucet does not go immediately, sometimes you need to be patient, waiting for the cold water to merge and the hot water to flow. The mattresses are hard and pleasant. The two-room family room had 2 bathrooms, super comfortable.
There is a refrigerator (without a mini bar), a hairdryer, a kettle, a small supply of tea bags and sugar, paper cups instead of cups. If necessary, we took extra paper cups, tea and coffee bags from the restaurant to the room at lunch/dinner.
Room cleaning is tolerable (towels are changed, bottled water is brought). But on the children's sheets, the sand from the feet remained untouched, only the blanket was beautifully tucked in, the sheets were not shaken out. That is, don't expect super cleanliness, but in general it's still not bad.
The safes in the rooms don't work very well (the buttons jam). The master was called, he arrives quickly, fixes something, lasts for 5 days, then everything jams again.
But in general, the guys at the reception are responsive, always ready to help.
There are mosquitoes in the evenings, children were bitten at night (although the territory is regularly fumigated). It is better to bring bite remedies with you.
There is animation (the kids' club is open during the daytime, we didn't get there, but we saw the kids cooking pizza somehow. Plus a mini disco every evening after dinner). There is a variety of animation on the beach during the day, and various shows in the amphitheater in the evening.
To summarize our overall impression: the hotel is very decent. Many people return to it again and again, and according to their reviews, the hotel is getting better every year.
And we will also consider it for future trips in the future, as it has a great beach, a beautiful large territory and delicious food.
