It's an atmospheric place, quiet, there are no screaming drunk Russian tourists (for some reason they all live in Ala Goa, it's probably cheaper there), the cleanest area, I've never seen such a pressure of water in any hotel in India (and I've been there 13 times). At first, it seemed that the lower floor in the bungalow was bad, but then we realized that we were mistaken, since the sun began to scorch on the second floor from one o'clock in the afternoon. The staff has never spoken Russian, only through a Google translator, get ready for this. Any requests (to change towels, add shampoo, water, etc.) were fulfilled instantly. In short, if you want to relax, then this is not here, here is peace and quiet. The food is also fine, although our would-be tourists, thinking that they were in 4*, would be Turkish 4*, forgetting that they were in India and demanded some kind of preferences in food)). Funny. In short, a great hotel, we didn't even expect it.
It took 40 minutes to get to Kolva along the beach with a leisurely step. There were few sheks after the pandemic, the one directly near Coconut grove beach, Raj, could not cope with the flow, the order was waited for an hour and a half, and the food could not be called very tasty. We walked along the beach at Silver Spoon, it's about 20 minutes towards Kolva, the food is excellent there, we knew this from previous trips
It's a very bad hotel, I don't recommend it!
Of the advantages:
1) close location to the sea
2) 10 minutes bike ride from Kolva
Minuses:
1) tired room, plumbing, furniture, bed, etc. Everything should have been updated a long time ago
2) disabled Wi-Fi for 3 days
3) one day they didn't bring towels)))) He wiped himself with a T-shirt. I asked the reception for help, they said: they didn't bring them today
4) disgusting breakfast (despite the paid breakfast, we went to have a shake on the beach)
5) woodlice in the room
We just returned from a vacation at this hotel. Of all the advantages, this is a beautiful territory and proximity to the sea, literally 3 minutes away. The rooms are not that tired, but require major repairs! The bed linen and towels are not washable, and the pillows were covered in black mold. The staff is disgusting, starting with the managing director and ending with the room cleaners. For the first time during several holidays in GOA, we were faced with the loss of small items from the room (a penknife, a flashlight, a lighter)None of the higher-ups of this hotel began to deal with this problem, I had to lock my suitcases before each departure from the room. The pool only looks like a pool in the photo! In fact, it is very small in area and 50 cm deep, such a "frog house" with blooming sides. It is impossible, dear compatriots, to refer in the reviews to the fact that this is India, therefore, it is impossible to make excessive demands on the quality of rest! Let's start respecting ourselves and being objective about the quality of the services WE provide and pay for!
