Generally, I expected more regarding the bathroom area and the fresh air in the room. The shower head in the bathroom didn't fit in its holder resulting in spraying the water on the side wall. The bathroom mixer was not properly mounted! Regarding the room's air quality, it was a bit smelly and humid. The aircon temperature could not be adjusted. On the other hand, the hotel is situated in a central and beautiful area. The staff was very polite and helpful.
The only good thing about this place is the bed is super soft. Service is appalling. Rude staff. Restaurant is poor. Breakfast is really bad.

They were irresponsible in organizing our event it was horrible. We had to do everything DIY and at the last moment. Never going there again. Never booking an event there for sure.
Very convenient location, very convenient on foot, to the center, to all the sights) the rooms are quite spacious, clean, the staff is very friendly, the breakfasts are modest, but everything you need is available, quite tasty. The price-quality ratio is consistent))
This is a good-level hotel, but it's old. The interiors are a bit outdated, and there is no light control. However, it is spacious, all the necessary infrastructure is there, air conditioners are working well, a large bathroom, a TV with many channels in different languages.
Great gym. Here it is, modern and newly renovated.
The Wi-Fi is unstable, the signal disappears periodically
, but it will work without video calls.
The staff is very friendly. There is a good hairdresser at the hotel.
It's a great hotel - I like to stay in the summer. convenient location. a pleasant area with a swimming pool. Not everyone can afford the budget. Breakfast is not bad. the staff is friendly. There is an adjacent restaurant from which champagne and fruits can be served by the pool.
I visited the hotel for the May holidays, there are a lot of tourists, all from different countries.
The breakfasts in the department are the most common, from 7:00 to 11:00, there is a queue for coffee for the whole hotel, there is 1 working breakfast, but it is terrible (the coffee machine is not cleaned). If you want a normal coffee, it's at the bar, for a fee.
For the entire hotel, there are only 2 out of 4 elevators, they go regardless of which floor you press, you press 1, you arrive at 12, in the morning, during breakfast, you can drive like this for 9-13 minutes.
On the first day, we went to the pool through the 1st floor, there is a reception, where the receptionist led us, showed us where and which pool, what is in the locker rooms, after which we were told that we had to pay for swimming in the pools - 400,000 SOM.
The next day, we learned from the receptionists at the reception that the pools are free for residents.
There are very few sun beds near the pools, there are 10 sun beds in a huge hotel, which are always occupied by towels. If you ask the staff to give you a sunbed, they say they don't have one.
If the hotel is celebrating a wedding in a restaurant near the pool, then you will not go out to the backyard of the hotel, because there is a wedding, respectively, in the restaurant that is in the backyard, you will not be able to order anything.
We traveled with a group of 16 people.
Of all the hotels of this level in the months of April, this was the most ideal price/quality.
But what we faced ruined the rest.
The first confusion arose during check-in, we could not find the reservation, the order of the guests' accommodation, the manager was already leaving work by the time we checked in at 16:30.
We spent about an hour dealing with settlement issues.
. pros:
Good location, cleanliness in the room, polite staff, good knowledge of the Russian language.
Good breakfasts.
There are two ATMs on the ground floor, it is possible to exchange money.
Nearby, 5-7 minutes away, there is a wonderful 1991 restaurant where we had lunch and dinner.
Minuses:
Inconsistent work of the booking department and reception,
It is not possible to reach the reception after 10 p.m.
The elevators did not work properly, two did not stop on the 8th floor (we were not warned about this, we learned everything ourselves),
The other two did not work periodically during the three days of our stay.
The staff is very polite and that's it, they listen with apologies to information about all the problems that have arisen and from the first time, even from the second, and sometimes from the third, they do nothing.
Apologies and promises.
Every day of the stay, there were problems that took more than an hour to solve, and I had to go down to the reception and worry my nerves.
One room had a torn pillowcase, the other was flooded (but they didn't overpower us, they said they would fix everything, and the wet carpet would be dried, fortunately everything happened the day before departure.
In the third, the curtains were torn, in the morning they woke up from the rays of the sun passing through the holes, they promised to change them all the time, but nothing was done.
We have received an answer to the question of compensation for all inconveniences, and we will send your wishes to the manager.
When they threatened to publish a bad review, they replied, yes, of course, this will make our work better.
Comfortable bed, clean, spacious enough room. Cleaning was carried out every day and efficiently. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. But despite this, the price tag is still clearly too high.
In general, the hotel is not bad. Proximity to a famous brand is good for you. During the stay (~3 days) there were problems with the Internet. The service is not bad. Excellent for this level of SPA. Excellent - in the sense that you can get a massage and swim in the pool at a time when you no longer count on it. Breakfast is on a solid "4". The rooms and corridors are already "tired", which does not spoil the overall impression. I would say this - the hotel is for those who came to Tashkent for a vacation and do not pretend to have SUPER conditions for living between their adventures.
Overall, the hotel is not bad. The proximity to a famous brand is a plus. During our entire stay (~3 days) there were problems with the Internet. The service is not bad. Nice hotel! It's so historic..)) the rooms have all the hygiene products, bathrobes and slippers. But the rooms are cool in winter. Breakfast for 4 people, not very varied. And the staff is very helpful and hospitable.
Nice, cozy room in oriental style.
The only thing is the breakfasts, or rather their absence.
The choice of a continental breakfast is very limited.
But there is a huge plus to the hotel, it's a swimming pool! The location is excellent, there are museums and parks nearby!
A 4 * hotel In the center, booked at an adequate price. The room has everything, decorated in a classic style. The breakfast is a buffet, but very simple. No frills. Nice pool.
Of course, the hotel was beautiful once, but it was a long time ago. Indifferent and boorish reception, very poor room service. The location of the guests has not been thought out. The Wi-Fi is not working at all!!!!!!There are 2 elevators in operation, one of them does not stop on all floors, it's just that the button in the elevator does not work. In general, not and once again no, not a hotel, but just wasted money. For this money, you can live in the hyatt next door.
Very nice hotel, delicious breakfasts, friendly staff and cozy rooms. The hotel is located in the center of Tashkent. Much is within walking distance or 1-2 metro stops. There is a pilaf Center nearby. Yum-yum.
Nice hotel right in the city center. There are three swimming pools, a hammam, and a sauna.
Classic-style rooms, cleaning service every day. Buffet breakfasts, always fresh fruits.
The hotel is pleasant, the location is excellent, but there are enough minor flaws: the window did not open in the room, the outlet into which the kettle was supposed to turn on did not work, there were no cups, only glasses... The breakfasts in the restaurant are delicious, but the a la carte dinner was disappointing. In short, management has something to do.
Nice hotel in the very center of the city. There is a swimming pool. There is breakfast. The beds are comfortable. The spa center provides bathrobes, saunas are also present in the changing rooms.
Located in the very center, the hotel is 4 stars. We lived in a standard room, but for most hotels it is at least a junior suite - large, comprehensively furnished with a business area and a large bathroom. The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools (the outdoor ones apparently work in summer), a sauna, a hammam and this is included in the price. The breakfast is quite varied, it is delicious. The restaurant is open. But the bar in the lobby - it must be understood that for foreigners it is a business card, so a business card - works very poorly (even though the piano plays in the evenings ...), and the hotel is essentially designed not for the domestic market and this is strange for a country where gastronomic hospitality is very developed.
In general, the hotel seems to be quite good, but they did not stop here because of an impolite employee in the spa area and because of the changing cost right in front of our eyes. When we called on the phone, one cost was announced, when we arrived, it increased by 200k soums, while we went to see the hotel and just the same spa area, we returned to the reception and the cost has increased again.. So we went to another hotel.
Today I witnessed an extremely disturbing and unacceptable situation that occurred at the service entrance of the City Palace Hotel. One of the hotel staff, a man, hit a girl, another employee, with whom, as I understood, he had a conflict on the basis of a gift given to her by one of the guests.
At first, the man began to interrogate her aggressively, suspecting her of theft. This was followed by rude, obscene language addressed to her: "Eh, fucker, fucking stop." In response to the insults, a verbal quarrel ensued between them, after which the girl hit him. In response, he struck her on the head and twisted her arms right on the street, in front of eyewitnesses. Later, already in the building, he tried to strike again, and, in my opinion, it would not have stopped if the woman working at the service entrance had not intervened.
Moreover, the hotel guest, who was an eyewitness, confirmed that the gift was indeed given voluntarily. He tried to talk to management representatives, but received no support, as did the victim herself.
According to the girl, this is not the first case of unacceptable treatment from the men working at this hotel. She was repeatedly harassed, to which she tried to respond with jokes in order to smooth over the situation.
Unfortunately, attempts to seek help from the authorities proved fruitless.:
The founder of the hotel, named Masha, ignored the appeal from both the employee and the guest.
The head of security blamed the victim herself for the incident.
The other owner of the hotel does not answer any calls or messages, including from her parents.
Such employees are hiding behind very good reviews. The name of the male is Hyrulla.
Clean, helpful staff. But I advise you to check the closing documents for business travelers. It was redone three times. The amount in the receipt is the same, the amount in the statement is different. It's also strange that they write in dollars when booking. They are counted into bags upon arrival. And when exchanging rubles - dollars - soums, I get one sum of soums, then they convert the declared amount in dollars into amounts at a completely different exchange rate (it changes daily) and then losses arise. They would write on the fix website in Sumy. It's some kind of deception. I change dollars at the same exchange rate for soums, and the hotel converts dollars into soums at its own exchange rate.
So the hotel is a little old, the breakfasts are very simple. The rooms are old. There used to be a top five, but it's "blown away." The refrigerator was always making noise in our room, but we were so tired that it wasn't there. There is a spa. The pool is indoor and outdoor. I took a dip once. Good location. The city center. In general, it's worth the money, but the breakfasts need to be changed.
A very tired four-star hotel.
Loose and peeling door handles, locks, and a poorly closing bathroom door.
Old TV, no network signal,
But the worst part is the smoky room and the duct-taped fire alarm! Of course, there is a no-smoking sign in the room, but it also says that smoking costs $150. That is, it's like a fine, but at the same time it's a permit) The window has no ventilation, it is very stuffy and stinks, the air conditioner is not a good solution.
No one seems to be thinking about fire safety, and they are not being monitored.
A couple of beautiful chairs and a pan on the wall in the room do not make a four-star hotel, alas.
In the lobby bar downstairs, payment is accepted only in cash, not a word about the check)
The breakfasts are good, a classic buffet.
The May holidays were spent in the hospitable city of TASHKENT, which is beautiful in all plans. As for the hotel, you can put a solid three. Let's start with an early check-in, which was paid additionally, but unfortunately the room was not prepared: a bathrobe, slippers, toothbrush were all in one set, as it turned out, the call to the reception was not enough (30 minutes), I had to go down and hurry, I don't want to talk about towels at all since there was only one the kit was torn, it turned out that during the whole week they changed to the same ones, there was no water in the room and there was no safe either, to the question where? There was a clear answer during the repair, after long negotiations with the staff, they still managed to get a safe. In general, only its location can be noted as a plus. Unfortunately, the price does not match the quality.
Nice hotel, small pool downstairs, stayed several times in this hotel, breakfast is excellent, buffet, varied, I only count the price, 110 dollars per night
Not a bad hotel, a former sheraton. Very good breakfast, good staff, clean rooms. Of the disadvantages, it would not hurt to update the rooms and the Internet in some places. But he is bad everywhere in Tashkent. And so, I liked it, I recommend it.
A nice atmospheric hotel, but some rooms need to be renovated. I also really didn't like the work of the elevators - sometimes after waiting 15 minutes I just walked. But even here everything is not so simple - there are two stairs, one of which has a blocked exit to the first floor. In general, there is something for the hotel management to work on.
It's noticeable from the hotel that it was gorgeous in the old days, but now I need a major renovation. The staff is polite, the cleaning is regular, the breakfasts are good.
The City Palace Hotel is the best of the best hotels in Tashkent. The service is excellent. The hotel is very pleasant and 100% clean. The City Palace Hotel has no disadvantages, only a plus
A new hotel. I will list three advantages: well-equipped and well-planned rooms with impeccable bathroom, cleanliness. The second is well-trained staff with good Russian and English. Third, the breakfasts are colorful, varied, tasty and of high quality. I recommend
Excellent service. Polite staff. The room is spacious and clean. Beautiful view from the window. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. The location is not bad. But it's too expensive.
Stunning oriental inhospitality reception
It's rare to see such indifference and disrespect for a guest.
The hotel business is primarily about respect and attention to guests
A nice girl at the reception should repeat this truth or learn it
We checked in in the evening, there was a queue of 3 people, 1 person at the reception. We stood for 40 minutes!!! There is a bar in the lobby with a beggarly assortment! If you are counting on tourists from different countries, then the bar should have wine, not just strong alcohol. The horror!
The location is the very center , it's ok. The pool is nice.
I lived there for 5 days and I don't recommend it to anyone.
The quality does not match the cost in fact the hotel is tired 3*.
They couldn't fix the running toilet tank for two days, and then the magnifying mirror in the bathroom fell off.
of the 4 elevators, 2 were working, while only one reached my floor.
The renovation at the hotel is pretty tired.
The staff throws up their hands.
One of the good things is the location in the very center of the city and a good outdoor pool.
I was there last year. The Sheraton hotel used to be called. The staff is responsive, we went to a meeting and checked in without confirmation of payment, then the payment came to them. The breakfasts are good, the assortment is good. There is a pool on the street too. The room is cozy.
A wonderful hotel, the staff is polite and oriented. We went to the pool, it is clean and large, there is a restaurant next to it with access to the street. The breakfasts are delicious and varied.
I really liked the hotel - the staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfasts are delicious, the cleaning is good!
The most necessary thing in the summer at the hotel is a swimming pool!
And here they are, open and closed! A great hotel for your money!
First, about the advantages. Very clean room, cleaning every day, a wonderful spa complex, including three swimming pools (including one for children with warm water), hammam and sauna. Towels and bed linen are good. A good breakfast (except coffee).
Now about the sad part. If it is stated that the room has a refrigerator / kettle / mini-bar, it does not mean anything: somewhere there is, somewhere there is not. We were a big company (several rooms), so I can responsibly declare. But worse than that: asking for something to give /bring / fix is useless. They promised us for 5 days, but they never did any of the promised things.
Previously, the hotel belonged to the Sheraton chain, so it was built and equipped at a good level. But when he left this network, the human factor intervened, and so. In general, do not expect good service (except cleaning). And the most unpleasant thing is that Wi-Fi is only in the lobby, and it does not work in the rooms.
I recommend a great hotel to everyone spacious rooms excellent breakfasts right in the very center of the city On the territory of the hotel right in the lobby there is a car rental company very convenient if you want to rent a car
