It's a very blessed place, and you can feel the peace and quiet here. The temple itself is not large, but it is very comfortable, very beautiful and well maintained. There are refectory tables under the shade of grapes and trees on the shore of a beautiful lake. I advise you to visit.

This is one of the most blessed places on earth. The temple stands on the place where, according to legend, Christ healed Peter's aunt. On the shore of the island of Kinneret or in the Bible the Teviridian Sea and Capernaum. There is an icon in this temple where Jesus Christ is depicted with gray hair. I have never seen such an image anywhere else. There are not many monks, there was only one Greek diocese during our visit. You will have the opportunity to go, you will not regret it, this memorable feeling of grace will last you a lifetime. Peacocks live on the territory and the largest vine that I have seen in my life. The temple is like Easter))

A wonderful Greek monastery, very beautiful painting inside. Located on the site of the ancient city of Capernaum on the shore of Lake Tiberias, in the Gospel text it is better known as the Sea of Galilee or Lake of Galilee. There is one resident in the monastery, Father Irinarch, who speaks Russian perfectly and is always glad to have guests from Russia.
