Disappointing Experience at Choy Plov
I recently visited Choy Plov, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the service was slow and unprofessional. The staff seemed uninterested, barely acknowledged us, and took forever to take our order.
The food was another letdown. Given the restaurant's name, I expected an amazing plov, but what we got was bland, dry, and lacked any real flavor. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh, and the portion size was smaller than expected, especially for the price. Other dishes we tried were also underwhelming and poorly presented.
To make things worse, the restaurant was not very clean. The tables were sticky, and the atmosphere felt neglected. Even the restroom was in bad condition, which made us question the overall hygiene of the place.
Overall, Choy Plov did not live up to its reputation. Poor service, mediocre food, and lack of cleanliness make it a place I would not recommend. There are plenty of better restaurants in town that offer good food and a pleasant dining experience. I won’t be coming back.
The most delicious restaurant
The staff is good, conscientious ✨
Of course, I am always happy with visiting this restaurant, and my guests from Japan were also very satisfied and promised that if they came to Bukhara, they would visit this wonderful and delicious restaurant again. 💯👍🔥
It's a good cafe, conveniently located, and the pilaf is delicious and fresh. The only thing that is not convenient is that there is no toilet and you have to go to the toilet and the shopping complex is nearby. But you can wash your hands, there is a washbasin.
Amazingly delicious pilaf,
a place where locals eat!
Russian is poorly spoken here, there is no menu, and this has its own charm and flavor.
An establishment with a pleasant interior
Everything is very fast, the portions are large and quite budget-friendly.
It is the staff in the hall that has a lot to grow, and I would like to note as a colleague, the head of the hall, systematize and distribute and it would be time to work in tandem with the kitchen! Strengthen the waiter or runner in the kitchen to speed up the serving process! The pilaf is not the best, but it is better than average!
The guests were here today
Positive
+ beautiful interior
+ delicious pilaf
+ polite staff, repeatedly asks if everything is ok or if you want anything else
+ clean and tidy, no unpleasant smell
Minuses
- The only negative for today is the expectation of pilaf, but before that salads and drinks were served.
Actually, I recommend it
We visited this place on the recommendation of the locals. There is no menu, because the main dish is pilaf. There are light salads, compote, tea, and where without Coca-Cola (in Uzbekistan, the cult of this drink). Pilaf is very tasty, in Bukhara it is cooked in a special way with a minimum fat content. The portions are large. I recommend you to visit!
The most delicious pilaf in Bukhara, it seems, and the most expensive. By the way, I recently tried their samsa, which is also very tasty. It's cozy, the service is also on the level
Delicious pilaf, nice prices, normal service. We were at lunchtime, everything was brought quickly, although the hall was full. The portion of pilaf is very large!
The interior is nice, but the pilaf was brought cold. The pilaf itself has a small amount of meat and dry rice (price quality 0). The salad portion is small, and the price is too high. The bread is not fresh again. I do not recommend visiting this place. Thanks for the establishment)
Oshi Sophie how I love: rice to rice, like aldente🥨 and samsa is simply stunning😍the crunch of the crust of samsa awakens feelings and inspires, especially in the background of the heart❤
We went to lunch, ordered halis, it was very tasty!!! Respect!!!

An atmospheric establishment. It is convenient for those who did not have time for the afternoon pilaf, they cook and I always take them there in the evening.
