Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon. Great hotel, the staff is very friendly, many people know a minimum of Russian words, so you can even chat)). The restaurant is delicious, the choice is large, not everything is spicy!!!.The territory is guarded, an outsider will not pass. The beach is public, but it doesn't bother. Huge turtles come to the beach, it's very interesting). A family of monitor lizards walks around the hotel. The rooms are large, of course, repairs are needed, but this is not critical. Everything is clean and everything works. Each room has an ocean view, it's cool)). The room has a balcony, there is even a sofa there). We really liked it, we highly recommend it to visit).

The hotel is super, the best in Hikkaduwa. The rooms are normal, a little tired, the highlight of the room is the balcony, not even a balcony, but a terrace with a sofa. However, you can't sit in the daytime, it's hot, without air conditioning. But it's okay in the evening, what beautiful sunsets and ocean views. Breakfast is a buffet, just a snack. We didn't go to lunch and dinner. We visited local cafes. There is a swimming pool on the territory, the water is like fresh milk, much warmer than in the ocean. There is a bar, but they didn't take anything there either, it's easier to run to the store, across the street. Small chipmunks are constantly running around the territory, tame, they eat with their hands, sometimes they run onto the balcony, they are not afraid of anything. The beach at the hotel is gorgeous, quiet, you can swim in any weather, there are practically no waves. If you want to jump on the waves, there is a hotel on the left along the beach, behind the Citrus, beautiful big waves. It's mostly where surfers hang out. Also in front of the hotel, turtles come every day, they are all fed, they come from all the hotels that are nearby, and some tourists are brought by bus. In general, I recommend the hotel to visit, you will not regret it. And yes, one minus is the crows, how they scream‼They don't let you sleep at night, and you can't leave anything on the table, on the balcony, they immediately arrive.

The hotel is my love. Only the best memories. Everything is for guests both in the room and in the restaurant. Thanks to the staff for a little knowledge of Russian words, very nice and always in the subject. We were in October. The ocean is warm but dirty. Honestly, I haven't seen so much dirt with household waste even in my local river... But this is Asia, baby. The beach is not a hotel, it is a city,. But the pool is always clean, with clear water

Despite the 4 stars, we specially chose this hotel, because turtles come there and did not regret it! Amazing emotions!💖 Chipmunks are also running all over the territory, and every evening small turtles are released into the open sea near the hotel😍 Be sure to go see this spectacle at least once) All rooms by the way have sea views and fantastic sunsets! A variety of delicious food and service is also very good, it feels like the guys are trying👍🏻

Who are these people writing 5-star reviews? Living in hostels before that?
The rooms are terrible, dirt, hair. Crows fly in flocks, swim in the pool and can take away your snacks. In the evening, they gather on palm trees and shout, which makes it impossible to hear the interlocutor.
The staff is friendly. The food is mediocre. From the entrance to the rooms, there is a view of the parking lot, from where the acrid smell of burning can be heard, as if garbage is being burned.

Great hotel, food, location, staff, everything is super!!! A lot of turtles swim up from the ocean, lizards walk on the beach, parrots fly in flocks from palm tree to palm tree, Sri Lankan squirrels singing everywhere. I really liked my vacation in Sri Lanka, I recommend it to everyone.

This is a great hotel!!! A cool beach with turtles, you can say you swim with them!!! A good reef with local inhabitants, various fish. One view from the balcony is worth it and the unforgettable Indian Ocean with constantly incoming waves!!! I advise everyone👍👍👍

One of the best hotels in Hikkaduwa. There is a lagoon nearby with a calm and suitable sea for swimming and a habitat for large sea turtles, which can be fed with local algae.We recommend it.

Now it's called hikka tranz, we really liked it. The breakfasts are delicious, they didn't get tired in 9 days, although they seem to be the same every day. The territory is well maintained, no one is allowed to enter it without hotel bracelets. The staff is very friendly. Chipmunks are found on the territory of the hotel, monitor lizards, iguanas come, parrots arrive, although the birds communicate very loudly in the evening :). The hotel itself has an excellent seafood restaurant.

It's not bad, but I would diversify the food at breakfast- it's always the same! The fish that was in the pots did not please anyone, the sausage is not tasty, there is no cheese, but the one that is given is a straight 2-star level, not tasty fruits and a small selection. The rooms are not cleaned very well, and we need to run some more. Expensive! I liked: the beach, turtles, large rooms, close to the beach, no waves, and especially liked the guards - good tactful, smiling, kind guys!!!

A great hotel, always clean, cleaned every day and made figures out of towels. There are chipmunks walking around the hotel, which can be fed and lizards. There are 2 turtles swimming in the ocean, which can also be fed, touched and photographed with them))) and a gorgeous view from the room!!!)))

I liked everything very much. The cuisine is diverse!
The staff is not particularly ready for Russian tourists yet. There is no animation. I don't understand how to work with all inclusive yet, whether you signed any endless checks. The laundry is bad! It makes no sense to take there to wash.
The beach is super! The towels are good! The guards are cute!

A wonderful hotel.A wonderful country to relax in.The hotel rooms are a miracle!Especially the balconies, you can live separately from the room itself.And sleep and contemplate the ocean expanses.And how to see a monitor lizard passing by or chipmunks playing while lying on a chaise longue.No need to go to any turtle farm, they come to you by themselves, rejoice and relax.Wow! I really liked it! On the one hand, the hotel has reefs, on the other, huge turtles swim all day for the amusement of the public, there is a place for swimming with a sandy beach! The rooms are not very pretentious, but the restaurant has a large selection!

It's not a bad hotel, but it's hard to get a good night's sleep inside the rooms, there is noise from the air conditioner even at low speeds (air supply is centralized) + the dehumidifier is also noisy, but at least it can be turned off, but on the other hand, the dehumidifier is a plus in the rooms, there is no such humidity. It's expensive to eat at a local buffet restaurant, unless you bought it on a ticket, but the evening CRAB restaurant is definitely expensive and the menu selection is not large. On the other hand, the territory is excellent and the beach is decent, but there is one small thing, in the season of heavy rains, water is discharged from the local river (purely sewage) and it goes out into the ocean next to the beach.
