We are flying to the island for the second time. We're taking people there for a retreat. A separate yoga area was built for us. The staff is the most attentive and caring. The rooms are cozy, bed linen is changed every other day, the room is cleaned every day. A chic restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine, lots of fish, crabs, meat!!! lots of fruits and vegetables. The price and quality are definitely justified. I thank the manager for taking special care of us
Canareef resort maldives, Addu' Atoll is not an unambiguous place, although with amazing nature. Beaches are not near all villas. The Sunrise Villa category does not have a beach and overlooks the eastern rocky coast of the Indian Ocean, which these villas periodically flood with waves and make a dam out of bags there and do not inhabit. The west coast overlooks the lagoon from Sunset Beach Villa. These villas overlook a sandy beach, the size of which depends on the tides. The swimming area is covered with algae as small as lawn grass and it is far from the depth, but there are villas with a rocky exit. Tourists can use any of the resort's beaches, the best of which is located at the Beach Bar in the south of the island, where there are corals and excellent conditions for swimming and snorkeling. You can get to any point of the 4 km long resort by buggy, which work flawlessly on call, and bicycles are given to everyone for free. The bars and restaurant are open as usual. Walking around the island is a pleasure, in the lakes you can feed fish with your hands, but only during daylight hours. After dinner, the roads are uncovered in semi-darkness, as well as in rooms with dim lighting. The flashlight will be very useful to you. Household issues were promptly resolved by the administration. Medical care is provided on site at the clinic. You can visit a village with an indigenous population by taking a preliminary formal permission at the reception. When crossing the equator on the plane and at the reception, a certificate is issued.
