The Cairo Tower is an impressive landmark that towers over the city and offers visitors spectacular views of Cairo. Located on the island of Jezira, it is one of the dominant points of the Egyptian capital. Externally, the tower resembles a lotus flower, although such a comparison can only occur to people with a developed imagination.There is enough greenery around the tower, which allows you to hide from the heat while waiting for your turn. An entrance ticket for foreigners costs 10 US dollars, which makes the visit affordable for most tourists. Inside, the lobby is decorated with mosaics, but other than that, there is no special historical value in the building.The height of the tower is about 187 meters, which makes it taller than the great pyramid of Giza. The elevator that takes visitors upstairs works quickly and efficiently. There is a revolving restaurant at the top of the tower, but it was crowded during our visit.The best time to visit the Cairo Tower is on a weekday before sunset, when you can watch the sun set quickly and the city lights come on. You can get to the tower by taxi or by metro, reaching Gezira station on the orange line.Overall, the Cairo Tower is a great place to visit, which will allow you to enjoy the views of Cairo and feel its atmosphere. However, it is worth considering that on holidays and weekends it can be very crowded here.

There are a lot of impressions. I really liked the view from the tower, it takes my breath away. Emotions over the edge. The only thing is, since there's not much room up there, a queue is being created at the bottom. I was in winter and the wait was 30 minutes, in the season, I think it will take a long time to stand in line.

It's a great place to climb the tower itself, but like all of Egypt, there are some jokes. If you buy a regular ticket, you can stand for several hours at the entrance just to look at the city, but if you buy a ticket at the cafe upstairs, it will be faster, or give the guard money at the entrance.
