Both in Soviet and post-Soviet times, the Erkindik Avenue area was considered one of the most prestigious in the city, therefore, famous writers, politicians and other famous Kyrgyzstanis lived in many buildings along the boulevard. So, in the courtyards behind the even side of the avenue there are memorial houses-museums of Iskhak Razzakov and Aala Tokombayev.

I really liked it, even though it was February, cool, not green. But it's a beautiful boulevard, it's very pleasant to walk there, it stops at the train station, it's just very beautiful here. Actually, I really liked Bishkek, maybe it's not entirely objective.
