It is a picturesque and beautiful place, but you need to go with a good ruble to tenge exchange rate. The views are gorgeous, there are plenty of places for walking. However, it was at the end of August, so the water was already cold.

Nature, pine trees on the shore and surrounding mountains, fairly clear water - these are all advantages, there are no others. Otherwise, it's just a remote village, with a minimum of entertainment. Dirty, noisy and very expensive! You are unlikely to get a relaxing holiday, the music screams all night until dawn! We rested for 7 days at the Arasan campsite. When we planned the trip, we realized that the campsite is not a hotel, but what we got... A room that differs from a doghouse in the presence of a toilet and a shower, two beds and a hanger on the wall are made of furniture... THAT'S IT! There are no bedside tables, no chairs, no tables. Very damp in the rooms, especially on the ground floor, VERY DAMP! The terrible stench of mold. All this cost 3,000 rubles per day for two people. There is no kitchen either, as there are no dishes and a gas stove or something similar, do not dream about wi-fi either! By the way, the mobile Internet in the whole village is also very slow, forget watching movies, videos and those with difficulty... Four stars only for nature.

We ran away, somehow, from Astana to Borovoe.
It was the best decision. The air on Stockton is fresh and clean, so you don't want to enter the room, the views are discouraging. And the night starry sky is a separate entertainment. One of the best energy places I've ever been to

3.5 hours from Astana. The toll road costs everything ~300 tenge! We were pleasantly surprised) on the way we met a lot of grazing horses and cows😍
The only drawback is the way back. It is better to calculate the time, since there is not a single lamppost on the road((

I liked the rest, we lived in the private sector, it's not far to the lake. The lake is warm, we rested in July, it was hot. There are slides for children. We liked it. The prices in the shops, due to tourists, are not low. Nature is amazing!!! The pine forest is something! To breathe and not to breathe too much!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Everything is great except the food! Very poor nutrition, I sucked on a chicken bone for 2 days, on the third day we cooked cutlets with smelly minced meat and we all started swearing! They promised to improve...now they put a little meat in the second one, there are no fresh salads...Once we cut 3 slices of cucumber for the second one...There is no variety...Borovoe is losing customers only because of poor nutrition! I won't come here anymore!

It's beautiful, but I haven't seen a single lifeguard in 4 days, but I saw a drowning guy - he was saved by a girl renting out saps. There are not enough free places to check in during the season. A lot of rolled-up huts at exorbitant prices. We stayed "At Azeka Maria's", in general we liked it.
