I got to the city of Ekibastuz by distribution. I know about the incision firsthand, I have worked at the Bogatyr section for many years.
The Bogatyr coal mine was built in nine stages from 1965 to 1979, and already in 1985 the maximum annual productivity of 56.8 million tons of coal was achieved. At the same time, the initial design capacity of this mine is set at 50 million tons of coal per year.
It is noteworthy that it was the miners of this section who extracted and shipped the billionth ton of coal, which was mined at the Ekibastuz deposit back in 2000.
And the 1.5 billion ton of coal at the mine was mined in November 2015, and this event was timed to coincide with the 45th anniversary of the mine.
As a result of an open tender during the privatization of the company in 1996, this section was acquired by the American company Assess Industries, and as a result, Bogatyr Access Komir LLP was established.
At the moment, the management and the name of the company have changed. At the moment, the company is called Bogatyr Komir LLP.
