A wonderful location, a view from the window directly onto the ocean, under the sound of the waves, it is pleasant to fall asleep and wake up! Slightly shabby, but spacious rooms, customer-oriented staff. We got more than we expected!
A cozy, peaceful place. No noise, no fuss. A soulful little hotel. A smiling, friendly hostess, ready to provide all possible assistance in case of any problems. Name is Sue. The rooms are spacious with spacious terraces and views of the ocean, sunset (magic). To the railway station Wadduwa (Wadduwa) 40 minutes on foot, by tuk-tuk of course faster. From the station you can get to Colombo, it will take about an hour, the ticket price is 80 rupees one way (23 ₽ approximately) only 3rd class. There is another Pinwatta station in a 10-minute walk towards Colombo, but not all trains stop there. In general, go, everything will be fine!
We stayed at this hotel from March 14th to 24th. A great place for a relaxing family vacation. Magnificent view from the window! All rooms at this hotel have a view from the window.
Helpful staff. In general, the locals are very friendly.
We arrived at about one o'clock in the afternoon, we were immediately
checked in. The room is large, everything you need is there.
The ocean is here with waves, the water is warm, I didn't want to go out. There are no sea urchins and bright fish here, so you don't have to take snorkeling masks. For fish, we took an excursion from our beach boy in Hikkaduwa. This is where the big sea turtles swim. The tour is interesting, especially for children.
Alcohol is expensive in this hotel. We really liked Sri Lankan beer Lion 8,8.
But for example, in a nearby hotel, Laya, in a kind of 5 stars, this beer is cheaper than in ours. In general, we always had dinner there.
In general, the alcohol market is within walking distance. You need to go to the main road and turn right. Walk from one pedestrian crossing to another. There's a large selection of alcohol at their usual prices. The doors are thrown open to tourists there, while locals are queuing on the street.
We went to the market for fruits on a tuk tuk for 1 dollar (300 rupees) from the beach boy. There is $2 at the reception.
We also went for souvenirs by tuk-tuk. There are none within walking distance.
This hotel is not quiet on weekends. We understood that the locals rent tables to celebrate their holidays. By the way, it is also interesting to look at other people's traditions.
In general, we are satisfied with the rest, we have only positive impressions.
I had a rest from 03/03. to 03/14.24. A quiet family vacation on the ocean. The food corresponds to the hotel 3. But, on the first day of your stay, $ 105 and 5,000 rupees were stolen from a closed safe, well, at least not everything, so do not use the safe. The room is large, the view from the balcony is beautiful-palm trees, beach, ocean. There is no entertainment, there is nothing for shopping lovers to do here. I liked the rest. There is a local, Russian-speaking guide Chala on the shore, we went on an excursion with him, liked it, for 300 rupees he takes you to the supermarket, bazaar, etc. and back. I would like to return.
A quiet place on the ocean coast, the rooms are spacious, there is a swimming pool on site. Excursions in Sri Lanka can be organized by the local guide Chyala rekamenuyu.
A wonderful quiet, relaxing holiday! Friendly, helpful staff! The food is excellent, huge portions are enough for two, if not more))). Communication is in English, but a minimum knowledge of the language is enough. I really liked everything!!!
We had a good rest, the ocean is super, the owner of the hotel Jan took us on excursions, there were breakfasts, dinner was ordered, any problem is solved immediately, I recommend this hotel
Great view from the rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious, but rather shabby. Terrible food.

Very polite staff, ready to help at any time! You can change the currency at the reception.
A lot of vegetarian dishes, a buffet. Bottles of drinking water are freely available to hotel guests, as tap water is not drinkable.
The hotel is located on the first line, the territory is fully equipped with everything you need: fresh water showers, 2 swimming pools, lighting.
The territory is clean and well maintained.
- The only thing that spoiled the impression before leaving was that, unfortunately, disgusting towels were brought to us: one dirty, the other torn (see photo).
Upon arrival, it turned out that our deluxe room was being "renovated" and we were provided with another room in the Blue beach villa (this villa is located between two railway tracks!). 2 days later, we were moved to a "renovated" room: the safe is broken, the furniture is old, some of the ceiling lights were not turned on. The food is monotonous, a lot of pepper. Nobody knows English or Russian. By the way, the ocean in this place is stormy in the 3rd decade of January, so swimming is problematic. From the good: ocean view.
