We are resting in this hotel now. A wonderful hotel! Our room is huge, thank you Ksenia❤️ food for every taste, seafood and fish are served daily in Kulina restaurant! In the other two, every day is different!From fruits daily apples, melon, orange, pomegranate guava. Mvngo in 2 days in the upper restaurant. They didn't drink alcohol, the coffee in the coffee shop was decent. It's clean and beautiful! Vacation (mid-January for 14 days) with family. 2 adults and 2 children, were very satisfied. The hotel is super, clean, good food. There are many tourists from St. Petersburg, from Moscow, and many Germans. We liked everything. We lived in a bungalow on the second floor, next to a restaurant, a swimming pool, the atmosphere was very friendly. The sea is cool 20-22 degrees and the wind is strong, but we still swam and sunbathed. The Albatross is a very nice hotel. I recommend.

There is a great beach, there is a children's entrance, and piers for snorkeling, there are no problems with sun beds, lifeguards are on duty at all beaches and pools.
The restaurants for such a large hotel work perfectly, the cleaning is timely, there are no queues, there are plenty of tables. The cuisine in restaurants varies, try everything.
The rooms are standard, there is a kettle, a TV and a refrigerator, there are very few sockets, there is a pair of usb for charging phones, but I did not risk using them.
WiFi works well throughout the hotel.
Disadvantages: the leftmost beach bar refuses to serve beach resort customers, the excellent children's pool is not heated, and the water there is very cold before lunch.
The spa center has an inadequate price tag, the massage is not bad, but not super, and the "friends" managers lose interest in you and knowledge of the Russian language as soon as they receive their several hundred bucks. It is mandatory to bargain, pay only for each session separately.
There are not enough tables in the fish restaurant, and the second floor is not working,
Children's animation is simply nowhere cheaper, if you have ever been to Egypt or Turkey, you know all these "songs" by heart.

The hotel itself, the territory, the beach are excellent. The food is monotonous, the same thing every day. There is little grill. There are few fruits, watermelon is only in one place every other day and only for dinner. Now the biggest disadvantage is the settlement. We had a rest from May 26, 2024 to June 5. The room was booked in a bungalow with a view of the pool. As they usually say, there are no numbers. So far, we've moved into a room above the dining room in the main building with a view of the sea, but the baby's bed is all torn and broken, the room is small. At night, you could hear the hum from the air conditioners on the roof, and you could also hear the elevator engine turning on. The next day we went to the reception to ask for a normal room. They didn't even want to change it for an additional fee. But I was persistent, and by the end of the day they gave me the room we had booked. But the day is lost, it's a pity. On the last day, he also got poisoned, the temperature rose and fountains came from all the cracks. And in the morning at 6, departure from the hotel is already underway. The way back is terrible in this condition. If it hadn't been for such a settlement, I probably would have gone again, but of course it's a minus for such an attitude.

It seems to be good, but according to previous reviews, we expected more. The beach is super yes, there are a lot of lifeguards, the sand is clean, there are no questions everything is fine. I also always asked when I could clean the rooms, the children's figures from the towels are fine. The territory is excellent, considering that in Egypt it is generally difficult to maintain vegetation, everything is watered, cared for, palm trees are beautiful, lawn, greenery is there. The children's water park is under renovation, although this was not discussed when booking. There is a huge minus in the restaurant, especially on the ground floor (it's better not to go there at all), none of the waiters ever came up, for forks themselves, for drinks themselves. There is no variety at all from the word at all: apples, bananas, melons were made from fruits; beef was always made from meat, sometimes fish or chicken the same type of cooking; well, pasta and vegetables. But at least the service on the second floor is better. Maybe, of course, depending on what to compare, you can say you won't stay hungry, but everything is very primitive. The second main disadvantage is animation. I was upset by the lack of evening shows, Miss hotel instead, etc. everything is very weak.... Saved Neverland, be sure to go, but you can only go there once.. The nursery was also seen stronger even in fours. We had a rest in September 2024.
This is just a great hotel!
We checked in literally 10 minutes, although we arrived before 14:00.
The rooms are clean, linen and towels are changed regularly. Everything is fine with the food too) there are always several types of beef, chicken, there is fish, any side dish. The chefs cooked scrambled eggs with any fillers in the morning, at lunch we loved pasta)
The assistants are smart, they will always come up, ask what we will drink and bring everything to the table. There were always tables available. Lots of bars with delicious coffee and goodies
Well, the most important thing is the sea, it's gorgeous. Smooth entrance to the sea, there is excellent depth to swim in. To the right and left of the main beach there are piers where you can swim and watch fish. We enjoyed it as much as possible. Waiter guys walk along the beach. You can always order a cocktail, water, juices and everything will be brought to your sunbed in 5 minutes)
In general, everything was great, only positive impressions remained!
I would like to say a huge thank you to all the hotel staff for our wonderful stay! We will definitely come back again!

The food is varied from meat to seafood, for every taste, special thanks to the pastry chef for the gorgeous desserts, delicious fruits. Good cocktails, wine, coffee, drinks, ice cream. Special thanks to the rescuers, always on the tip. Animation is on top, they do not intrusively offer to participate, communicate, amuse vacationers. The children are delighted with the children's animators (Oleg and Kristina) who love children, the children's disco is generally super, I already wanted to go dancing myself. A good water park, heated pools (none of them) and clean rooms. The staff is friendly, they help with various issues. I recommend it! We'd like to come back again!

But in general, there were positive emotions, I usually do not like to return to the same hotel, but I would return here. We also met a taxi driver, who speaks excellent Russian and English. I was saved by the heated pool, but in early January it got warmer and we also swam in the sea. The hotel deserves its money and even deserves five stars, but of course it will not be luxury or deluxe.
The food is good, but there could be more choice of dishes. There were no queues for food, as the hotel is aimed at guests from Western Europe, so no one runs to the restaurant in advance to take a queue or a table, or puts mountains of food on a plate that they can't eat later. In general, there is order and service everywhere, but you need to prepare for the fact that you need to know either English or German here if you want to relax more comfortably, and for this you need to be understood.

We were from 28.1023 to 5.11.23. The hotel is good, very clean, the service is excellent, the refrigerator was broken, replaced in 5 minutes. The beach is almost the best among the hotels in this region, especially well-equipped. There are no waves, no low tide, shark net. The water is very clean, the beach is clean. There are always sun beds, but closer to the sea you need to take them at 6-7 in the morning. The weather was excellent, there was no sweltering heat and the sea was warm. The territory is large and green, there are many pools. Russians are about 30%. The room was booked the cheapest, but for the green they gave a huge femeli with a good view. The reception is ready to help with everything. You can walk to the territory of the neighboring 5* . There are 4 restaurants in the hotels, 3 main ones! Two for breakfast, lunch, dinner and one more for dinner. But, the only drawback is the nutrition. Even for us, slender and not picky with a child, there was not much to take! And this is for 25 years of traveling several times a year. This is the first time I've seen such a poor and low-quality diet. Even the European and Turkish triples are better. Worse than in poor Cuba. It seems to be there, but as others have written, it is not tasty and monotonous. And the attitude in the dining room, towards our people from Russia, is not felt very much, unlike the Germans, they are really better served and smiled at. Once they came for lunch 30 minutes before closing, my wife managed to take food, and while I was sitting with a small child, I went 20 minutes before closing, so they started cleaning all the food with me, and so quickly and smartly that I didn't have time to take anything! I have not seen this in any hotel in the world in so many years! We have been choosing a great hotel for a long time, and we are so glad that we chose Beach Albatros. Large territory, well maintained, green, very clean. A cool water park for kids and two slides for older children and adults. There are no queues for them. On site you can play golf, lawn tennis, football, billiards, darts...There is a spa and a gym. The animation is wonderful, not intrusive-if you don't want to, don't participate ... every day there are various zooms, steps, belly dancing, beach volleyball ... entertainment for every taste! Every evening there is a new show that takes your breath away. Mini disco for kids. The restaurants are excellent, the food is varied, fresh, delicious. Lots of sweets, the most delicious fruits! Free ice cream is available every day from 12 to 17. Four flavors to choose from. There are many bars where you can get soft drinks. The beach is sand. There are piers on both sides. You can walk on the sand, you can swim from the pier. There is a gorgeous reef, the path to it has been cleared, we went in without corals. There are a lot of fish, cuttlefish, hedgehogs on the reef, and in the evening a huge turtle was seen from the pier. There are a lot of sun beds, there are enough for everyone. The sea is magical. Clean, warm, there are not even waves between the piers. We had a room in the 5th building of the bungalow. Very convenient location. And the pool is nearby, and one of the restaurants... and it's the same to go to the sea, to the water park. The room is large, cleaned every day, cleanliness is not to complain. There are souvenir shops on site, and a pharmacy in the neighboring hotel. We were absolutely delighted with this hotel! The fact that the first line is a huge plus... we looked at how they go through our territory with bags and backpacks to the beach from the second line from Vista Albatros and Aqua Park Albatros... it was a pity for them. The hotel was chosen for a long time, we looked at the reviews. At first, we were settled in the furthest bungalow with a view of the renovation work. Then, at the request and with an explanation of the reasons, they reluctantly moved to a bungalow closer, with a view of the wall and poor lighting. As it turned out later, foreigners (mostly Germans) are accommodated in the main building for free.
I'll start with the unpleasant. There are $50 stuck in the ATM near the reception. The reception staff replied, "Forget it (!) or go to the bank, we can't help you." It turned out that this ATM is constantly eating up money. Should I put up a warning not to use cash at this ATM? No, you haven't. Great service, right? To offer a tourist, a foreigner in an unfamiliar country, instead of a paid vacation, to ride banks. They offer to call a taxi for themselves for $ 25. An Uber round-trip taxi will cost you $2. They make money on everything. In the end, we went to the bank 3 times, spent a lot of time, and the money was returned. But they do everything reluctantly, slowly.

We had a rest this year from May 18 to 27 with our granddaughter and daughter-in-law. We stayed at this hotel for the third time.There are a lot of changes for the better this year. Another restaurant was opened in the territories, several bungalows were completed, the territory allows. There are several more slides in the water park, a surfing slide was built. Umbrellas and rods were updated throughout the territory, they are all very comfortable in sufficient numbers, sun beds were always available at 7.00-7.30 at the sea, they were not occupied by the pool, they rested on the beach, but sometimes they went to the pool for both adults and children, they are next to the sea (those near the main building). There was always enough food, and tables too. There is a very large selection of pastries, there was always a fish, the most tender (beef melted in your mouth), believe me, says a man who eats only poultry and fish, but when I tried it, I ate only beef for dinner. There are plenty of vegetables and fruits. Watermelons, melons, plums, apples, tangerines, oranges, pears, dates, watermelons, grapes. Oriental sweets and cakes with cakes for a sweet tooth are just a sea. For breakfast there is a large selection of pastries, cheese of several flavors. Naturally, the eggs are in different variations. Freshly squeezed juices were replenished constantly and were always there until the end of breakfast.You can't try anything at all. Not really. Animation is not intrusive, in the evening there were always invited artists, karaoke, children's animation. There was no time to do sports, they were running after their granddaughter. With children, you can't think of a better hotel, the entrance to the sea is gradual, sand, the child was pulled out of the sea crying. The flight was overnight, towels were not picked up at 12.00, they only handed over the room, took their suitcases to the reception and rested quietly, then they gave us the key to the room in the central building at the reception, we washed, changed clothes and calmly went to dinner. After dinner, we waited for the bus at the reception in comfortable conditions. The reception is large with different areas for gatherings, during the rest in the evening we also rested there. And what kind of coffee is in vending machines and bars. The waiters worked very quickly, we never waited for drinks for a long time, the tables were cleaned quickly too. We just entered, they started waving and greeting our granddaughter, although they speak Russian poorly or not at all. We were always friendly ourselves, maybe that's why they treated us well. The territory is a separate topic, very well maintained and very green. Palm alley, flowering bushes, soft green lawn. Everything is watered, cut and cleaned! The rooms in the bungalows are nice, not big or small. We had a large bed and a folding chair for our granddaughter in our room, but we all slept on the bed, there was enough space. The balcony is ordinary, the table and two chairs are made of plastic. There was a place to hang washed swimsuits ( I took clothespins with me, the breeze in Egypt is often strong ). Large clothespins for sun loungers will also not hurt. Everything worked in the room, the safe is free. Yes, the light bulb burned out by the bed, they left a note, came after the beach, changed it. In general, our vacation was a great success. The four-year-old granddaughter did not want to leave, of course we did. Thanks to the service staff for a well-organized vacation!!! We will definitely come to you. With a child, I repeat, we will not even come up with and look for another hotel for sure. Have a good rest! We stayed at this hotel in 2008, 2011, 2018 and 2022. Great hotel. One of the best hotels in Hurghada. It's just great with kids!

The only negative is a couple of people at the reception. But this is not an assessment of the hotel, but the human factor.

You can take an UBER taxi from the app to the shopping center. Take a walk in the McDuck or into the city. About everything is in the area of 200-300.₽. On ours.

We chose a room in a bungalow, and we were not mistaken that we did not take the main building. It takes 3 minutes to walk from the main building at a calm pace, but you get a lot of advantages. Firstly, the bungalow here is a detached 2-storey building with 10 rooms. The rooms (at least we had a family room) are simply huge - in the hallway there is a dressing area with a wardrobe where things are placed and suitcases remain there. And the room is still beautiful. No mountains of stuff) Very large bathtub with shower. Pour water in all directions (children usually wash this way), but the water flies away from the shower. A normal hair dryer, if necessary, they will bring an iron and a board. But it is necessary to ask for an iron and a board at the reception. Ask for one thing - they will bring one)) The specifics are important here) Linen was changed almost every day, towels too. Tea, coffee, water - everything is replenished daily without requests. Due to the detached building, it is very quiet in the evening. All events take place on the other side of the main building. They do not always wash the floors in the corners, but after communicating with the reception at the reception, they began to clean much better. In general, this hotel is very sensitive to the wishes of guests. Any comment about the number is eliminated as soon as possible, and as a result, you are contacted to find out if you are satisfied with the solution of the issue. This is a rarity for Egypt! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Many people know Russian. I would also like to mention the guy who worked in the wakeboard area - he got along well with the children, showed them everything and even paired up with them. The children are delighted. There is a children's club. Animators Oleg and Kristina really love their work! They constantly find something to keep the children busy at the club, and in the evening they light up at children's discos so that even adults without children come to this show))). Very cool guys!
A good sandy beach, enough sun beds, there are screens from the wind and prying eyes. The entrance to the sea is pleasant along the entire length of the beach. You can even see different fish by swimming quite a bit from the shore. There are 2 piers with four-poster sun beds. It's very cool if you just want to sunbathe in silence, as you don't go there with children. The waiters on the beach can bring something from the bar. It wasn't always fast, but there weren't many of them. And they always brought it. They didn't forget.
The water park on the territory of the hotel is modest - 2 slides, but they also built part of it (4-5 slides were added), so it should be decent by the season.
In general, it is a very worthy place to return to.

The hotel itself is large, clean, always cleaned.

Of the cons: there are no shops nearby. Going outside the hotel-there is no life! It is expensive to go to the center, and it takes about 1 hour to walk

They settled quickly, settled far away, our room is 6755, this is the second floor. The room is already stale: a cracked frame from under the painting, crooked and sometimes broken lamps (sconces), which marred the rest and for which I took off the score - it's a heavy blanket, feels like a mattress and an awfully loud air conditioner, but 6 pillows 😂It is impossible to breathe without an air conditioner in the room (it is decently warmer on the second floor than on the first), and it is impossible to fall asleep with it, since it works very loudly. There are also cracked tiles on the floor in places in the room, but clean shelves and surfaces, I checked myself personally.
The room has a safe, kettle, cups, tea, sugar, and water in the refrigerator. There are no slippers, only towels and soap accessories, there is a hairdryer.
Swans from towels were made exactly 1 time, a room for two, we rested with my husband, we left a dollar for tea, not every day. I think elephants are made in rooms where children are.
About food: I don't need much for happiness, but you will find for yourself what you love from the classics: rice, always any pasta or spaghetti to choose from, very tasty bread products, vegetables, sliced, desserts, fruits, monotonously. There is always meat on the fire at lunch and dinner, from fruits: plums, oranges, apples and melon, there was a watermelon, but you just have to try to find it. For breakfast, freshly squeezed juice: orange, lemon and melon.
Of the disadvantages, there is no normal soup: it is always either mashed soup, cream soup, or exotic, and spicy. I really liked the animation, nice guys, they don't bother, but they get me with excursions, pigtails and other rubbish. I liked the aqua aerobics, I advise you.
The beach is not bad, but small, a good approach, the water was cool at first, then warmed up. What struck me was the beautiful and clean territory, they wash the tiles both in the morning and in the evening, they constantly plant something, transplant something. Definitely a big plus is the water park, we spent our afternoons there. Slides for both children and adults. There is also a children's club, a tennis field, a football field and mini golf. There are three restaurants on the territory, but they did not notice a big difference, the food in all restaurants is varied, although it may seem that it is monotonous, but everything was definitely delicious. The alcohol was good, vodka, brandy, whiskey, gin, wine and beer were offered, as well as cocktails. There was animation in German and Russian. In general, I liked everything, the place where I want to return. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, they offer to clean every day, the hotel is constantly being looked after.

The most beloved hotel in Egypt!
The buffet is on top, the morning croissants are something!!! Pools for every taste, slides for children and adults. But all this pales with the sea and the beach. The entrance is a gorgeous sand, every beach is cleaned with a rake. There are enough sun beds, there has never been a time that we came, but there is no place. Lifeguards are on duty at the pools and on the beach, you can not swim in the evening. The staff is excellent, in the morning I wrote a review that the old shower, in the afternoon it was already changed to a new one! Animation in general deserves special attention, I haven't seen such shows for a long time, and if you want peace of mind, please have live music by the pool or national in the hookah area. WiFi is available throughout, even on the beach.

The food is super, the alcohol is local, but of high quality. There are no complaints about the beach either. Of the minuses - hookahs are so-so. When leaving, they wanted to pay in $, there were 2 bills, they refused to take $ 10 because of the old sample, and there was no change from 20, they left in the morning, as soon as they made a fuss, the change was immediately found. The bill was in pounds, by the way. So who used paid services, it is better to prepare pounds in advance. The best course was, oddly enough, the guide from the operator. A taxi at the hotel costs space, we went through Uber, all prices there are in pounds. Some particularly smart taxi drivers, when they realized that a tourist had made an order, raised prices or asked for $, sent them to the opu and called another car.
There is a shopping center not far from the hotel, I went there for gifts. I took souvenirs and fruits there in a huge supermarket, there was not enough local money, I exchanged dollars with souvenir dealers. In ATMs, the rate is much worse. A great hotel, especially for families with children. A beautiful sandy beach, a gentle approach to the sea. Low tide does not affect the ability to swim. There are lifebuoys in the water up to the buoys, where children can relax. Interesting bottom, lots of beautiful fish and corals. There are slides on site, free ice cream in the afternoon.
