I would like to express my deep gratitude to the tour guide Valeria Vyacheslavovna for an amazing tour of the Brest Fortress Museum! She not only knows the material perfectly, but also knows how to captivate listeners with her stories. Valeria Vyacheslavovna shared interesting facts and stories that made our tour unforgettable. Her professionalism and love of history were evident in every word. We got a lot of emotions and new knowledge. We recommend that anyone who wants to better understand the history of the Brest Fortress contact Valeria Vyacheslavovna! Thank you very much!
The Brest fortress left an indelible impression. I've always wanted to visit there and get to know this legendary place better. The majestic monument to the defenders is stunning in its size. Schoolchildren keep a memory watch at the foot. Another monument embodies a soldier who, under bullets, draws water from a puddle with a helmet to bring it to his comrades. Museum staff constantly pour water into his helmet, and it serves as a kind of basin for flowers brought by people.
The guide will take you to different places of the fortress and tell you how selflessly the military unit that was here defended the fortress and about the heroes standing to the death in the face of the enemy horde.
There is an Orthodox church on the territory of the fortress, where you can go to pray and light a candle.
It took me two days to thoroughly inspect the fortress and fortified areas, where there is something to see.
The Brest Fortress Defense Museum is a memory that cannot be forgotten
The museum's exposition tells in detail about the heroic defense of the fortress in the early days of the Great Patriotic War. Each room is filled with artifacts, documents and photographs that allow you to feel the horror and courage of the defenders.
Special attention should be paid to audiovisual installations and dioramas that create a presence effect. The exposition dedicated to the feat of Soviet soldiers who defended the fortress to the last is especially impressive.
The museum staff is friendly and competent, ready to answer any questions from visitors. The guides conduct fascinating excursions, making the visit even more informative and emotional.
The museum is an important monument of history and culture, which helps to preserve the memory of the great feat of our ancestors. I recommend that anyone interested in history visit this place and honor the memory of the heroes.
