A large but empty train station. There aren't many places to sit. The cashiers respond calmly in Russian. Everything can be learned and understood.

A train ticket to Kutaisi costs GEL 2. Departure in the morning at 9:50. Arrival in Kutaisi at 14:10. There is a dirty toilet in the last carriage. The rest of the cars are normal. The chairs recline, the rows are wide, and there are plenty of legroom.
Tickets start selling an hour before the train departs.
Train tickets to Tbilisi are 37 GEL. You need to buy in advance. There were no tickets for two days in May.

Batumi Railway Station is made in a modern style and put into operation in 2015. There are fast trains from Tbilisi to Batumi and a train from Yerevan. Of the 6 wagons in total. There is a bus connection to the city. The station is located a little far from the center - 4 km.
