We walked around the Balat district and went to lunch at the small Ballad restaurant, which attracted our attention with a courtyard hall. It's very nice and cozy. Friendly staff, a small menu with pasta and a burger in addition to Turkish dishes. In general, there is a lot to choose from. The portions seem to be large, but at the expense of French fries, which upset me. The taste was also restrainedly boring.
A very atmospheric place. I was surprised that there were so few visitors. The entrance to the restaurant is completely inconspicuous, but inside there is a beautiful medieval courtyard with a veranda. A small menu, but what we took was delicious. The price tag is no higher than in the establishments around.
