From May 1 to May 4, we had a rest in Braslav. Since there are difficulties with bus tickets and we had to take a specific bus to the train, as soon as we arrived on May 1, I went to the ticket office for a ticket. The ticket office was closed, and there was a sign on it saying "due to the cashier's illness, the cashier is not working, buy tickets from the driver." I ask the staff how to buy a ticket in advance. They say: no way, only the driver. The cashiers have all been sick for 2 weeks now...
after that, I went to the Bus station EVERY DAY at different times both in the morning and in the afternoon. The ticket office was closed every day. When we were traveling by bus from a bus station: a driver came to the bus with cash registers and spent a very long time getting confused in the buttons to issue all the tickets.
But it all ended up being fun: when I went to the train station on May 4, half an hour before the bus left, I looked - the ticket office was open. I go over and ask for a bus ticket, and they tell me there are no tickets for this bus. I wonder how it is, because the cash register was not working. They tell me : "The cash register was open all the time. And in general, it was necessary to buy online..."
Then I looked - the lucky ticket holders really mostly had electronic tickets. I asked who had the usual tickets - they bought them a long time ago. Obviously, before the epidemic at the cashiers.
That is, what happened: due to the fact that the TICKET OFFICE WAS CLOSED ALL the TIME, there was no one to get information about the availability of tickets. I didn't know there would be problems, so I didn't take another bus. Those who live in Braslav know that tickets can be purchased online. No one told me about it, and it wasn't written on the register either. As a result, due to the well-organized work of the Bus Station in Braslov, I almost missed the train home. The whole impression of the trip was ruined.
And a particularly painful impression was left by communicating with a terribly arrogant cashier, who knows that she is lying, that she did not work. But looking into his eyes, he says: the ticket office was open all the time, I don't know where you were going...
Pros: 1]Recently renovated- neatly the building inside and out 2]The presence of a small coffee shop in the station building 3]The ability to pay with a bank card both when paying for coffee or ice cream, and for a bus ticket 4]The surrounding area is clean, mowed down from grass
There is Parking, there is a toilet (70 kopecks), a taxi is nearby, you can eat.. There are enough benches to sit outside. There is an ATM. Everything is fine!
I give 5 stars, because I often come to Braslav, and I can't say anything bad. Available messages to Vitebsk, Minsk. There is a bus to Riga.
There are cafes, luggage storage, etc.
The bus station of a provincial city, nothing ordinary ... There is a waiting room, on the chairs in which you will not sit for a long time , they are metal !! There is no air conditioning, but it is cool inside, there is a paid toilet for 50 kopecks!!! The cashiers are friendly and will tell you everything without questions , there is a taxi stand nearby with local bombs.. On the street opposite the entrance to the train station , ATM Belarus Bank Distance to Lake Drivyaty (central city beach) 5 minutes on foot ... Cafe beach 3 minutes …
The room is warm. There is a toilet.Ticket availability.Always friendly cashiers. It opens early. There is one drawback, there used to be a cafe, it was closed. There is nowhere to drink tea and have a snack.
Great women selling tickets. They helped me sort out my luggage and suggested the best way to go. The train station is clean, the toilet is cleaned. It's a good train station.
Buses depart regularly, there is a waiting room, an electronic board with arrival /departure, a toilet. Inside the building there is a door and a sign with the name of the store, but in fact there is no store, perhaps it will appear in the future. There are benches for waiting at the platforms, which offer a beautiful view of Lake Drivyaty and the city beach
Not for the sake of the bus station itself (I did not have a chance to visit it), but the adjacent territories are pleasing to the eye! Almost on the shore of the lake with a catamaran and a boat, a cafe and sun loungers! Pretty girl!!!
There is a good bus station, everything is there. It is not designed for a continuous flow of passengers. The buffet has a strange schedule - Monday is the day off. But there are two acceptable cafes nearby.
