The building of the Greek Academy of Sciences was built in 1859-1885 by the famous Danish architect Theophil von Hansen. The sculptor of the beautiful statues is L.Drosos. The two columns on which the statues of Athena and Apollo are located emphasize the graceful beauty of the building in the Ionic style. Two statues on the stairs depict the famous Plato and Aristotle.
