What did not like about the Astam hotel:
1. The staff represented by the reception administrator ignores the requests of the guests. In our case, please replace the batteries in the TV remote control, we were just given a remote control from another room and it did not fit. I had to turn on the TV with my hands.
2. Upon check-in, a deposit in the amount of 5,000 tenge was taken for using the bar, which consisted of a couple of cans of beer and snacks, which there was no desire to touch. And in the morning, during the eviction, the administrator tried to accuse us that a bottle of water was drunk, although we brought our own water from the store.
3. The room has tea facilities and an electric kettle, but there is no drinking water for tea.
4. A mattress pad was placed in the closet of the room as a blanket, and it was very old and dirty. How can I use this at all?
5. Breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is a standard hotel set according to the buffet system. The administration pasted an inscription on the coffee machine - "Coffee is paid 400 tenge, pay at the reception." OK, but for all attempts to pour coffee for myself, the machine only gave steam into the cup and I had to drink tea from a tea bag.
6. In the bathroom, when trying to take a shower, the search for gel or shampoo led to two small bags, the volume of which allowed only hands to be washed.
7. I booked two rooms in advance for myself, my wife and two sons, what was my surprise when we were given rooms on two different floors, although I asked them to be nearby. Obviously, the administration or the representative of the hotel at the reception does not give a damn about this.
8. The design of the hotel is very pompous and the excess of design elements for the classic style hurts the eye. The rooms are not cozy from the word at all. In addition, the cold attitude of the staff does not add to the desire to return to this hotel.

We stayed in a Deluxe room. The room is quite spacious, the bed does not take up most of the room, as is often the case in hotels. The bed is a full-fledged double bed, and not made up of two half-beds, comfortable. There is a kettle, a hairdryer in the shower and even disposable toothbrushes with toothpaste. In addition to a set of towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided, only initially, for some reason, one large towel and one bathrobe were missing, a solved trifle, but the sediment, as they say, remained))
If you get up early, you can also get to breakfast - it is included in the price and is served from 8 to 10 in the morning, but we did not go, I cannot estimate.
The main disadvantage of this hotel, which did not allow me to put a five, is the lack of air conditioning, in a new hotel of this level it should be by default. A fan was installed, of course, it did not really help, since it was more than 30 degrees outside and the room was warmed up during the day, I was in no hurry to cool down at night, and it was such a pleasure to sleep sweating.

Everything is good, clean, there is everything you need. The service is normal. There is no air conditioner in the room, there is a fan. There was only fried eggs and sausages for breakfast. There is no alternative. You can also toast bread, butter, cheese, sausage, and very tasty jam. Instant coffee. There is also no water cooler. Not everyone drinks from the tap. I had to boil water from the mini-bar in the evening in the room.The bed, bathrobes, disposable supplies, everything is fine. It is also a very good location. There is a large shopping mall nearby.

Good staff, there were shortcomings, but they were quickly eliminated on demand, the room was clean, breakfast was modest but sufficient, the main drawback was in a room with a "view" of the railway road, the audibility of a shunting train at night.

Clean, beautiful, helpful staff. Breakfast is minimal, but you won't stay hungry. Unfortunately, we could not find a kettle at our request (we could use a thermopot, but there was barely warm water in it, and besides, there was an unpleasant smell and taste from constant boiling) and a hair dryer, although they are indicated on the website. There was only a refrigerator in the room. Otherwise, everything is OK

Room tour hotel "Astam" standard room 2-bed 16,000 tenge;
- no bathrobes in the room,
- dirty towel,
- view from the window to the garages,
- the room is on the ground floor, it is very uncomfortable due to constant movements under the window,
- early check-in was problematic (30 min. expectations) but free,
- the ironing iron on the 2nd floor is not working properly.
+ a nice bed,
+ not a bad buffet.

An exciting trip to this hotel was on Christmas Eve, and for the price, on the call - we expected something appropriate)
I travel quite a lot and have been to different hotels and hotels of different levels. This one won everything!)
The best thing about this hotel is a very responsive and sweet receptionist and sausages for breakfast)))
But it looks more like a hostel for a maximum of 300-500 rubles)
There are no bathrobes in the standard room, but they met us halfway, as they promised on the phone, for this plus)
There is no tea and coffee in the room, toilet paper is not soft (even in the cheapest hostels I have not seen this hard paper used)))
The shower splashes in all directions and does not fit into its compartment on the wall
And in general, a very unpleasant shower, but maybe it's because they cleaned up badly in front of us, there were empty soap and shampoo labels in the shower
There is a kettle in the room, but there are no glasses (but here, too, the receptionist helped us out - a very nice woman!)
The pillows are very hard and uncomfortable
The breakfast is meager, but delicious
There is no coffee for breakfast, if anything)
In general, it's OK to spend the night, but I think the prices for such a service are too high

We stayed at this hotel several times. From a convenient point of view, there is 3-bed accommodation (not all hotels can accommodate in one room like this). The rooms are clean, the room is warm, the staff is polite. There are breakfasts, the assortment is not great, but there is enough to have a snack in the morning. Parking is available.
In general, not a bad hotel for reasonable money.

Not a bad hotel. The breakfasts are really for three. The rooms are good. 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 13) were accommodated in only 2 rooms, although there is enough space for an extra bed in the room. Considering that we arrived in the city late, there was not much to choose from, and there was no time already.

The breakfast in the dining room is pretty decent, there is a small selection, but still.))For some reason, they scan the passport.After all, it's enough just to write down the data from the passport.
I recommend passing through transit, the closest hotel from customs.

It's a little weak for this money, to put it mildly. There are no complaints about the staff, they are polite and friendly, but there are big questions for the owner. Everything looks good from the street, but inside... The rooms are old renovated and furnished, the bathroom is not very pleasant. There is no kettle and no water in the room. Pastel, which was weird to see for this price, the blanket was not even tucked in. During the two days of arrival, they never cleaned up, even the garbage was not taken out. Breakfast is a separate topic, yesterday's scrambled eggs, sausages are the cheapest, sliced vegetables apparently from the evening, sausage cheese is as cheap as paper, which is brought a little bit at a time. There is nothing but tea, not even lemon milk.

The Internet is constantly falling off, the mattress in the room is killed and there are only springs left, pancakes are always cold at breakfast, condensed milk and jam are served in saucers, into which everyone climbs with their spoons and the next day it is put back on the table, the room smelled of cigarettes because of the proximity of the smoking room, for two days the room they have never been removed. There is no variety of buffet at breakfast (porridge is the same two days in a row). The hotel was renovated according to the staff 2 years ago, but there is little left of it in the bathroom.
