A good museum hotel!with a great location, with an awesome roof terrace, on one side a view of the Bosphorus, it is across the street from the hotel, and on the other side the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia Mosque.Nice white linen, towels. There is a kettle, glasses, coffee, tea. There are no slippers or toothbrushes, but we took our own.but it seems like at the reception on request. You leave the hotel to the left, climb up the hill 300 meters and immediately you will see the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, a little further the Basilica Cistern, 15 minutes from the Grand Bazaar hotel! There are a lot of cafes and fast food, but all this is the center and of course the prices are quite high. The breakfasts are hearty, although monotonous, but there are a lot of things, with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, we specially went early to admire the sunrise! The staff is polite. There is an elevator! In the lobby there is a fountain with red-eared turtles and a museum of national Turkish culture, dishes, textiles, sewing machines and so on are collected
Very good location, close to all the sights and the promenade! Quiet street, friendly staff, conscientious cleaning! Comfortable mattress and pillows, the room is spacious, there is everything you need!
It's a little chilly in March, but you can turn on the air conditioner with warm air and it gets more comfortable) I recommend it!
The hotel is located in a beautiful place and the distance to many historical attractions is very close, as well as to the tourist streets, but closer to 10-11 life freezes, and to places for walking around modern Istanbul, areas where everything is active and after 10 (Kadikoy, Beyoglu) is far away, to the shopping center in general a huge distance, chain stores are not nearby. A set of bathroom accessories only shampoo (in the shower of a common capacity) and soap (breakfast is OK, but the same day after day, they give out an umbrella, but ask you to leave a deposit of $ 10, I wanted to change the room so as not to see the courtyard (the view is not very good) to a room with a view of the Bosphorus for an additional fee - they fed breakfast After 4 days of stay , I didn 't ask anymore
Very cozy, comfortable and quiet hotel. Attentive staff, clean and fresh linen, snow-white towels, changed daily. Cleaning is daily. The hotel itself has a pleasant smell of freshness. I would love to come back again.
The location, the terrace and the views from it are gorgeous. The rooms are compact and tidy. There are many attractions within walking distance to which you will definitely be taken on an excursion tour.
A very pleasant authentic hotel. Great location, liked everything. The breakfasts are ordinary, but in general everything is there, I would like to mention the roof of the restaurant with a beautiful view.
We visited the Armada Hotel in early January 2025. The hotel is old, the rooms are shabby, the cleaning is so-so, the dust is in place. The furniture is serviceable, the plumbing is fine too, not everything is brought by the soap makers. There are no balconies. If there is a 3rd floor and a deluxe room, then the view of the sea is marble. If the same floor is standard, then the view of the old courtyards. The 1st floor of the reception is very coolly decorated in the form of a ship deck. The exhibits are old, very atmospheric, and the tableau with live turtles is also cool. Restaurant: breakfast is more or less, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, a lot of sweets, nuts, honey, our only omelet with vegetables and rolls. No sausages, no bacon, no fried eggs. The coffee, tea, and lemonade are great. Overall, good impressions. But not by 5.
This is the third time we have visited this hotel and the impressions are always the most wonderful. The staff, the location, the atmosphere, and the cuisine are decent!!! But I advise you not to stop there!!!
A great place for a cozy stay in almost the most historical center of Istanbul. Far from the hiking trails, but very close to the Marmara Sea. It's literally a minute's walk, but the Mosques are just around the corner - 7 minutes maximum. The service is very good, and the views from the windows of the room and the outdoor terrace are simply breathtaking!
A very nice hotel. Convenient location. Beautiful view from the terrace.
The rooms have everything you need.
The staff is friendly and helpful. We liked everything.
Just in case, I will clarify that the review is for the Armada hotel (it is indicated incorrectly on Yandex maps). The hotel is not bad, but a bit shabby. The furniture has been in need of repair for a long time. A very limited set of bathroom accessories (in fact, only soap and shower gel - no shower caps, pastes, brushes and other familiar little things). This is the first time I've seen that there are no sockets near the bed… One of the obvious advantages is the location, right in the historical center within walking distance to all the attractions. Good breakfasts in the view restaurant. The staff is very friendly. Adorable turtles in the lobby! In general, I probably recommend it, but don't expect frills.
A great option for a tourist stop in Istanbul. Clean, cozy, quiet. The mosque is just around the corner). Breakfast and dinner are excellent. Monotony is a plus for me. You don't waste time choosing. There are vegetables, herbs, honey, dessert, milk, fruits, eggs and omelette. The quality is excellent. Breakfast and dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea and the mosque.
Rating: I definitely recommend it!
We have been to this hotel twice - in 2011 and in 2012 and I can say with confidence that it is in our heart forever)) Chic authentic rooms, an incredible terrace, breakfasts with a view of the Blue Mosque and Sofia - indescribable!! Very comfortable, calm, cozy. Plus a great location, of course. And the view of the Bosphorus from the window))
It was hard to find. The location is amazing. You live almost like on Red Square! Breakfast on the terrace deserves special attention! I definitely recommend it.

A very cozy hotel with its own steep parking (which is necessary for the outskirts if you plan to travel around Istanbul by car, because the streets in the center are narrow and parking somewhere is not realistic). The hotel is not big, cozy and clean, the staff is friendly! The children really liked the turtles in the pond in the lobby. The breakfast buffet is modest, but you will not stay hungry, during the meal you are attracted by seagulls who want to profit😁 there is a restaurant on the roof of the hotel with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque and the old city, I do not even know when it is more beautiful, in the afternoon or in the evening) the hotel is located near the center, which is very convenient, in the area is full of cafes and restaurants for every taste)
Great suite with cozy interior. House kipper cleaned our room everyday. Breakfast was tasty
A great room with a cozy design. The maids cleaned every day. The breakfasts are delicious
Milonga on Mondays is very emotional. I recommend tangero to everyone to visit

A one-night hotel, no more.
You have breakfast on the veranda of the upper floor and without air conditioning.
The food is tasteless (breakfast).
The room is tired, and the whole hotel is very tired.
The advantage is only in the location
A good hotel, we were from 30.05.2023 to 05/03/2023. The rooms are clean, the bed was changed every day!
I give 3 stars only because there are no hygiene supplies (toothbrush, toothpaste, razor) no bathrobes!
I had to look for a supermarket and buy everything down to shampoo!!! Keep this in mind when checking in.
Breakfasts are monotonous from the word at all!
Remove these disadvantages and you can safely put 4+
I liked the hotel and the staff is polite, the air conditioning is working properly, the breakfasts are delicious, quiet, the decoration is tasteful and the rarity is present, 👍
I really liked the hotel. Excellent location, clean rooms, good cleaning, unobtrusive service. For breakfast, yes, every day is the same. But there were eggs, sausages, cheeses, cereals, vegetables, fruits, pastries, sweets, tea, coffee, lemonades. I didn't get bored in 4 days. Definitely, I will stop right there on my next trip
The location of the hotel is very convenient, in my opinion! All the main attractions are nearby. Of the quibbles, it's not a very varied breakfast, but everything is fresh and, in general, you can have breakfast without frills.
