I've been in Crete for quite a while, but I fondly remember my vacation at Ag. Nikolas. In the morning, jog to the stadium, do a little workout, and swim in the sea on the way back. The hotel is very cozy, clean, and the room has a sea view. Delicious breakfast, natural vegetables and fruits, lunches and dinners are incomparable. In the afternoon we went to the city beach (sandy). The Santorini tour is a complete delight. In the evening, walk to the city (800 m). ❤️❤️❤️

A memorable mountain hotel Ariadne for life! I really want to go there again, what a beauty and delicious taste there is! And the sea ! It's transparent, you can see the pebbles and the fish are so magnificent! Mirabelle Bay is in my life for the rest of my life, as is the hospitality of the locals! The Greeks are very glad to see us!

This is the best hotel in Agios Nikolaos. We are a young couple with two small children (1g7months and 4g8months) and were choosing between apartments in the city center and Ariadne beach, and we were just happy that we ended up staying here. Agios itself is a very crowded, noisy and even polluted city. The city center is definitely not suitable for families with children. It's better to go there for a walk for a change. Ariadne beach is just an oasis, a quiet paradise that lives its own comfortable and cozy life. There is everything here that you can not leave the territory. The hotel is located between two hills. Old buildings on the left, new ones on the right. We initially booked a standard room (they are just in the "old" part) and requested a cot, the baby was supposed to sleep with us. Upon arrival, we were given a room at the reception with a two-story children's bed. And in fact it turned out that the old buildings are not much worse than the new ones. The room is quite nice, the furniture is not new, but in very good condition, not shabby, marble bathroom, everything is fine, just a standard room is smaller than an improved one. Spacious wardrobe, shoe rack. Everything is very thoughtful and convenient. It was in the reviews that the design of the bathtub is bad and the water splashes on the floor. It is not true. I do not know how you can wash yourself so that you can pour water on the floor when half of the bath is blocked by glass. And it's better than moldy curtains! You just need to wash in this part, where the shower is attached, and put a towel for your feet when entering the bath. And there won't be any puddles! After 2 days we moved into a superior room. The superior rooms are more spacious, freshly renovated, good furniture, tiles everywhere on the floor, there is no carpet in both old and new buildings! The room was on the third level and, accordingly, the sea was better visible. Spacious balcony with furniture. We slept with an open balcony at night, very quiet. Even the air in the hotel seemed fresher than in the city itself. All the hotel staff are friendly and friendly. We were with a baby carriage, there were no problems, you can go around the steps everywhere along the path. The food deserves special praise. This is the first time we have met such a delicious and varied buffet. There was everything you could wish for: seafood, always delicious fish, tender meat, grilled, premium cheeses such as parmesan, door blue, pancakes, waffles, yoghurts with berries, with nuts, always delicious fruits (watermelons, melons, peaches, plums, grapes, kiwis, oranges, apples), ice cream, delicious fresh pastries, dried fruits... I can't list everything. The dishes are perfectly clean, the tables are cleaned immediately. The food is constantly replenished. The restaurant staff is very friendly. We had a one-year-old child with us, who littered and scattered food a lot, but never once did they even look at us askance. And when I tried to help clean up, they always said “no problem". There were never any queues at the restaurant, there were always enough tables for everyone. The restaurant is located next to the pool, there are tables inside and outside under an awning, the sea is visible in the distance. On the hill where the "old" buildings are, they seem to be sideways relative to the sea, and the buildings of the Miramare resort & spa hotel rise up frontally to the sea, this is one network with Ariadne, respectively, you can move freely through both territories. Ariadne is a purely French hotel, 95% of the vacationers are French. He does not work with Russian tour operators. We haven't seen any Russians here in 2 weeks. There are very few children. Everything is in French, but the staff speaks English as well. There is animation, every day something happens by the pool. In the evenings, theatrical performances are held in the amphitheater on the territory of the Miramare. And they dance, and sing, and humor, all very dignified and professional, in French. The animators are great fellows, they do not let the guests get bored! An electric car runs through the territory, it is not necessary to carry suitcases uphill. There is a small pebble beach next to the hotel, there are no sun beds, only umbrellas. There are also two cafes by the sea. In principle, you can not get attached to lunch at the hotel. Exactly 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the left there is a gorgeous private Kimzu beach, sun beds are on the grass, there is shade from trees, the entrance to the sea is gradual, white sand. The sea is calm and clean. There are stone breakwaters parallel to the beach. Two sun beds + an umbrella cost 6.5 euros, there is a cafe on the same beach, wifi. We didn't like the beaches in the city itself and they are twice as expensive. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city, there is a sidewalk along the way. The road is not very picturesque, but it is better to walk than to live in the center with the windows closed and sleep under the noise of mopeds. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The photos of the hotel and rooms correspond to the photos presented on the website. In general, the hotel exceeded our expectations! It is beautiful and atmospheric in itself. Very well maintained, green, clean. We were very satisfied with our stay!
