A must-visit tourist destination in Batumi. We need to make sure that the weather is good and clear. As you move slowly, you'll get a bird's-eye view of the city and suburbs. There is an observation deck with a cafe at the end point. There you can take wonderful keepsake photos for social networks and have a drink in a cafe, for example, a milkshake or something stronger. It will take an hour and a half in time.

The cable car itself and the view from the cabins are beautiful!!! There was no particular excitement from the height, the smooth movement of the booths allows you to enjoy the views.
I recommend going in the evening - Batumi is very beautifully sparkling with lights🥹
There is only one minus - if you are less than six people, be ready to go with strangers who were standing next to you in the queue.
For 30 GEL, I would like to enjoy the trip only with my loved ones, but perhaps these are my personal requests🙄

The views are simply stunning at sunset, there are many locations for graffiti-style photos, actors in various outfits create a festive atmosphere. In the cabin itself, when climbing, it is difficult to enjoy the beauty, since the windows are plastic and cloudy.

A wonderful cable car! The whole of Batumi is in full view. The ascent takes about 10 minutes in one direction. The price is very reasonable, 30 GEL, round trip. A wonderful observation deck where you can have a snack and even listen to a mini-concert after 19 o'clock. It's better to get up before sunset, it's beautiful!...

It is beautiful, the whole city is visible when climbing, a comfortable cabin, friendly staff. The view from the top from the observation deck is excellent. It is advisable to go in the morning, otherwise there are a lot of people later and it is not very convenient to take pictures. Interesting graffiti and places for photography have been made.

This is an interesting and recommended tourist place, where you can enjoy a beautiful view from the mountain to the whole city and the sea.
In September, when they were rising, they found Georgian dancing in beautiful traditional costumes. A well-equipped observation deck with seating and an outdoor restaurant. We went up there on foot along local trails, as the funicular seemed expensive.
It is very pleasant to admire the view from this place and reflect on the wonderful creations of our Creator! As it is written in Psalm 103:24: "How many are your works, O Lord! You have done everything wisely; the earth is full of Your works."

The Argo cable Car in Batumi is an exceptional adventure! Climbing to the top allows you to enjoy the amazing weather in the city and the Black Sea. At the upper station there is a cafe and an observation deck where you can take great photos and just relax. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see Batumi with new perspectives!

Great for an independent sightseeing tour from a bird's-eye view. Personally, I had difficulty finding the way to the cable car, the maps apparently led me along the old path. On the way, I was attacked by a stray dog (this is a direct problem in Batumi), but I was saved by a local resident. Therefore, there was absolutely no fear of heights anymore. The cost is 30 GEL per ascent + descent.

The view from the mountain is beautiful and the cable car naturally has the right to exist, but what is confusing..The windows are all worn out, it's not pleasant not to take pictures, not even to look at it ... and as I understood from the open windows, there's trouble with air conditioners there too 🤷🏻♂️

Downstairs they sell tickets in two directions at once (round trip) the cost is 30 GEL for one ticket. We got to one side normally. There is nothing to see at the top, just the restaurant and the view from the height and nothing else. There is no territory where you can walk. When they were going down, the cable car was closed, allegedly because of the rain. But the rain was very fine, barely drizzling. When asked how to get down, they said to expect a bus that runs every 15 minutes. As a result, this bus arrived only after 35 minutes. At this time, we stood stupidly and waited, since nothing else can be done there, no benches are even provided. You can't sit anywhere except in the restaurant. All of course did not fit in, as the minibus arrived. Most of the people were standing. The air conditioner was not turned on. They took us downstairs. We went to find out if it was possible to refund the money for the cable car, to which we were naturally sent in a rude form. The guard did not even let me into the lobby to the ticket office. Bottom line: wasted money and disgusting service.

The cable car was opened in 2012. The length of the cable car is 2.5 km. The journey time is about 10 minutes. Round-trip tickets are 30 GEL. At the end of April, it was more than free.
The upper station is located at an altitude of 250 meters, there is a restaurant and a viewing platform from which the whole of Batumi is visible. It is better to visit either in the morning (so as not to be against the sun) or at sunset. The views are cool, especially at sunset.
The main disadvantage is the condition of the glazing of the cabins. The glasses are cloudy and not the cleanest (for 30 GEL you want more), you will not be able to get good shots through such glasses. There are tiny windows near the ceiling, you can shoot through them with great difficulty, especially if your height is 170+, you will stand in a not very comfortable position.
The cable car (in April) is open until 21:00, which means that you will not be able to take off the night city, only at dusk🙁

Nothing special. In summer, the cabin is very stuffy, as there is no air conditioning and ventilation. Only small openings. The glass in the booth is all cloudy and scratched. But the view from above of the city is really beautiful. It is better to go before lunch, the view of the city will be clear and bright.
When we went back down, the wind picked up, the cabin swayed noticeably from side to side. A small child may get scared.

A typical variant of "business in Georgian". As already mentioned in the reviews - 30 GEL per trip (16min, round trip for 8), there is no difference weekdays / weekends. So they also trample into the booth like a minibus! For example, when I go in a taxi, no one gets picked up. And then, having paid 30 GEL, I naturally want to go with my own company, without outsiders! In short, it's a disappointment, and the view from the mountain is not so fantastic, it's just beautiful, nothing more.
