we were in the summer of 2021 with children. there is a good beach, there are sun beds. It's a little expensive for its price. The feeding is monotonous, pancakes, porridge and casserole every morning (the same every day), cucumbers and tomatoes were the only salads., closer to the dining room. But you won't be hungry. the hotel is secluded and remote, only a taxi can go somewhere - and even then not everyone goes from Pitsunda or Gagra, not everyone will go..the air conditioner was turned off every night, sometimes during the day, when the light was taken away (in the heat it is felt) and there is no water at this time...There are no generators.

***, don't mess around. We have booked and transferred the prepayment. Then we found out that the promised "free parking" costs 1000 rubles per day. The quality of the food is not just lame, but terrible. There is no cleaning, the bathrooms are in poor condition and stink. It would be possible to turn a blind eye to all this, but we planned a vacation with a small child, respectively, sanitary conditions are important. They canceled the reservation and asked for a refund of the prepayment, three weeks before arrival. A month has passed and the prepayment has not been returned!!!

It's a good place. And it started to be good even before our arrival - when we booked a room, the receptionist answered all questions very carefully and in detail for a month before check-in. And then we were very quickly settled in the middle of the night, in the morning having already told all the information and the daily routine. The view from the suite is gorgeous! The balcony where we spent our evenings after the child's lights out is generally wonderful! It's a little sad bathroom, but there's no point in getting upset about it) The bed, sofa and other furniture are not new, but they are quite sturdy. The rooms are cleaned every three days, towels are changed on time.
The beach is wonderful! Sand, smooth approach. There are free and free sun beds even at 11 a.m. in August! There is a rental of sap boards (500 rubles/hour)
The dining room is clean, there is a smiling receptionist at the entrance) The food may not be exquisite, but it's delicious! I lowered my score on several points. But first, about the advantages. The main thing is, of course, the sea - it is literally 2 steps away. The hotel is directly on the first line. There are sun beds - you take them for yourself. But there are no umbrellas. If it's hot, there's nowhere to hide. The entrance to the sea is rocky - it is convenient only in sneakers. But the beach is sandy (the smallest pebbles). Now about the cons:
1) the location of the hotel. It is located in a strong wilderness in a remote village in which there is no entertainment infrastructure at all. The locals already live there. Because of the location, there is a problem with boredom. There is nothing to do catastrophically. If you are not a fan of lying in one position for two weeks, of course. We went for a walk because we don't like to lie around. We went around the whole village, the further away from the coast the more friendly the locals were - they tore figs in many places for free. We went by land and by sea to the neighboring children's sanatorium (in my opinion, Golden Bay), went far beyond the village to the wild mountains (but it's already scary there, since the wilderness is hopeless). Transportation to places of civilization is irregular, it is easier to get there by hitchhiking. We mostly walked to the village of Ldzaa. Civilization means the village of Ldzaa and Pitsunda. From them, you can go somewhere else by another transport.
2) The hotel itself. We were in his first year of work. When only the central building (with the dining room) and the first one on the side of the road were open. We lived in the central building - the room is spacious with a sea view. The furniture is really bushy (which is strange for a new hotel). My mother-in-law and son lived in the first building - it was terribly crowded there, for example, we couldn't visit them together, because there was only standing room for one))) Our air conditioner was working, they basically didn't have it. We knocked out a refrigerator for ourselves on the third day after check-in. Accordingly, the mother-in-law does not even have a place for him. Wifi is highly irregular. There was only a slight break in one corner of our room. Basically, it was necessary to go to a certain point on the coast (the landmark is people with phones). Light and water were periodically cut off due to the wilderness. Once there was no more than a day. There is no swimming pool, there is a fountain on the site in front of the central building (it did not work).
3) The dining room. A separate topic))) The room is small and very stuffy. To eat normally (the entire range of dishes), you need to come 10-15 minutes before the opening and stand in line. Then you can take a seat and get a portion of a normal meal. If you're late, you'll chew what's left. The room is not equipped with air conditioning, which is why it is terribly stuffy (and also located in the sun). After eating, going out into the 30 degree heat is regarded as bliss. The food itself seemed to be normal. But we got there when the guys cooks from Lipetsk lived there and worked in parallel. As far as I understood from the reviews, things got much worse after their departure
4) another minus that needs to be noted. Rivers descend from the mountains on both sides of the area - if it rains heavily, then the sea will be kapets for a couple of days. Rivers in the sea washes away so much mud, silt, sticks, garbage that you can't go into the sea - you'll be all plastered with this mud. You need to wait until the current blows away. Consider the day will be lost. If it rains for 2-3 days, it's even scary to think what will happen.
5) tourist trips. It's no longer about the hotel, but about rest in general. We went on a jeep tour (in fact, a UAZ tour) and to the Ritz. I liked the first one, because we love nature. It was the nature that I liked, although in terms of scope, the gorges and waterfalls of the Russian Caucasus are much steeper. I didn't like the Ritz at all. The lake itself is certainly in the black, but it is far from primitive nature. The food and clothing trade is on such a large scale that it is difficult even to walk. There is garbage everywhere and traces of overactive human activity. Because of this, the whole impression is blurred. The tour is designed in a strange way. The parking time is less than the time of sailing on a catamaran on the lake. We were given 40 minutes. We sailed until the middle, and when we returned, it turned out that the bus was already waiting for us for a long time. And if it wasn't for the mother-in-law who got into a battle with the driver, they would have left without us.
Ldzaa's mother-in-law took buses to Gudauta and Gagra. I thought she said she liked it. Gudauta fought off the gypsies at the market)))
Well, the photos on the hotel's website smiled. Only the first 5-6 photos are real. Everything else with pools and a large territory is left-wing. There are no swimming pools or any territory at the hotel. The mountain is behind, the sea is in front. There is a road on the left, a mountain on the right.

Everything that is written about the beauty of the place, privacy and even good maintenance of the territory and rooms is completely fair. But everything is ruined by a terrible dining room with inedible food, there is nowhere to eat, there is one cafe nearby where beer costs 150 rubles and a store where a bottle of Sukhumi costs 90. The same margin is applied to products. If you walk for 20 minutes, there are normal shops.
But the main horror is in the evening, there is nothing to do on the territory, there is a playground, but children are running all over the territory, while parents hide from them by numbers and drink, I took off a photo with a bunch of children, but there are 30 of them and everyone is screaming, there is a photo below. When they asked why there was no animation or at least music with a bar on the territory, they looked at me like an alien

- The rooms are cleaned every 3 days, though. But, the curtains are dirty, the bed linen is washed but stained and this is one of the most expensive rooms.
- Mashed potatoes, I have always admired the taste of mashed potatoes in Abkhazia, as on chernozem. And their sausages are just delicious. It is this dish and this ingredient. This time and in this place, everything was not delicious, as if the powder was mixed. Or fodder potatoes. Everything else is generally decent. The staff is lovely, well done, smiling, attentive, responsive. The territory is also beautiful, although in front of such a hotel I would still clean the beach from garbage. There is no soap even in the room! When we were on the beach, vacationers told us that they were not the first time and the food is getting worse every time, so this year will be even worse!
But you can close your eyes to all this by paying more than 100-150k just from across the sea, so we decided to go there again, because it's convenient with children when I left the room and immediately got to the beach, but to book a room, you need to try very hard! For Daria, or I don't know what the name of the "manager" is (she is far from the manager) on the other side, you write and wait for an answer for several days..that seems to have been written off..I had to decide on the date of arrival and the number of days, we corresponded at the end of the week and they told me the number for you before Mon, I wrote on Tue. They wrote me the price, I said it was good! I am sure that the room is booked, but after three weeks I decided to clarify, to which I am informed that the room has been sold (a kind of slang, apparently, they are selling it for a while) allegedly, they can't wait a month for an answer from me.. I write that, as if you read the correspondence not between messages, but in its entirety, which is ignored and again repeats, we can't do anything, the number is sold, you should have given us an answer on Mon.. Apparently, what was agreed on Tuesday does not count! But the most interesting thing is, no apologies.. there were no offers of other numbers or offers of other dates, and after I expressed my opinion about such work and the disgusting attitude towards the client, I was told that the dialogue could not be continued, there were no numbers at all (although they are, she just decided out of personal dislike that she would refuse us on vacation, they did not pass face control) . That is, some dasha is sitting there and decides who will come to this village to rest, and who will not! So if you are ready to spend 200k for 5 people for just a beautiful view of the sea, then knock everything out of this employee yourself, it turns out you need to know, and apparently ask for it yourself..to throw off the application form, which must be filled out, ask for the details where to transfer 10% and after all, everything yourself! Well, it seems like it's not bad, everything is clean, the food is normal, the sea is great, I just realized that I need to be closer to the city. I forgot, I'm finishing, there was no hot water periodically, in the evening the lights are turned off, Wi-Fi in the rooms on the mountain is bad, the beach is excellent, it was cold in the room, the split system did not give heat, I did not understand why two duvet covers, and one blanket. 1. The road to the hotel is a shaking, dusty dirt road. The hotel is on the outskirts, there is absolutely nothing to do there except the sea. If the weather is bad, there is nothing to do at all. It takes 30-40 minutes to walk to civilization.
2. The room is cramped and dark, there is no place to turn around. The furniture is shabby. The rooms on the ground floor are VERY damp, the linen clearly smells like a cellar because of the dampness. Most likely, during a storm, the spray will fly directly into the room.
3. The shower room is the fear of the Lord. The only thing that can be placed there from your own is a toothbrush. There is no room for other accessories. It's very dark, dark tiles falling off, a broken shower. As a shower curtain, there is a dirty oilcloth sticking to the body on a crooked holder. A concrete floor covering can be seen from the ceiling.
4. The food is disgusting. I could only eat this on the first evening, when I was very hungry from the road. My wife and son couldn't eat.
5. The staff is boorish. When we had "dinner" in the dining room and were about to leave, we were "hailed" with the phrase: "Uh, we have self-service here." When we left the hotel ahead of schedule and just said that we didn't like the room, the girl at the reception rolled out a claim to us like: "You knew where you were going," like it was your own fault.
6. If you want to go to the toilet at the reception, you will be sent to the dining room. If there is cleaning in the dining room in the toilet at this time, they will spread their hands and tell you that there is no place to go to the toilet now.
7. They offer rooms with sea and mountain views. Do not be deceived, the "mountain" is a natural sand hill with a height of three floors and stands 10 meters from the hotel building. I.e. there is no view.
Bottom line: the only advantages are the sea and the beach. If the weather is bad, there are no advantages left.
