July 2023. There were conflicting impressions from the visit. We took risotto with seafood, it was very tasteless 500 rubles / serving. The waiter served well, politely. The view of the city is beautiful, and in the evening you can see dolphins swimming. Maybe this season the cook is unsuccessful.

Beautiful view of the sea, the sea breeze blows in the evening and it is not hot at all. Attentive staff, served quickly. The prices are acceptable, the cuisine is delicious. We ordered khachapur, wine, mullet and mullet, grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. Everything that was not eaten was kindly wrapped up for us. There were two halls in the cafe, the first one was full, there were no seats. We were offered to go to the second hall of the "Restaurant", there is an air conditioner, unlike the first one. But the most amazing thing was that there was no one in the second hall at all, the tables were normal, not as low as in the first, and the chairs were very uncomfortable, too hard and boring music was playing, like jazz.
The food there is very spicy, the meat is tough, it is impossible to eat (a photo of one of the dishes is attached)! We ordered lemonade, I don't remember what it tasted like, it was quite tasty, but still carbonated, more like compote. Then they ordered another lemonade, only with a different taste, some kind of mint, they brought horror that))) It's just a poisonous green liquid, but it tastes like cheap mints.
Julienne was not bad, but very small, I ate it so I didn't even notice how it ended 😃(price 300₽).
The cheesecake was very tasty, similar to homemade and quite large in size (price 300 rubles), for this a huge plus.
On the plus side, there is a beautiful view, but only until the evening. Because then you won't see the sea through the window, but only your reflection (

Sofia is a wonderful waiter girl, how do I thank you for the most delicious frying pan, the coolest julienne with seafood and grilled vegetables and mushrooms (that's just delicious, not boiled and then baked on the grill), that's really tastier than anything you've ever eaten in your life, stunning, gorgeous, cozy, bread is so fluffy and tender, the price tag is not free, BUT REALLY SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!! The menu is huge, they cook quickly, probably magic trolls in the kitchen)))) Thanks again, the sea view is wonderful, the cocktails are delicious! We will come back more than once!!! super! My favorite place in Sukhum. I come often and visit Apra every time. Excellent rolls, warm cream shrimp roll-🔥. It is located on the pier. It is cozy and delicious at any time of the year. There are a lot of people in the evening in the season, there may not be places, but waiting 15-20 minutes is acceptable (for me). If you are in Sukhum, be sure to eat in April

As for prices, they are average. There is a place nearby where you can sit on a budget.

This restaurant compares favorably with all others in that it is literally on the water, and has a completely glass panoramic view of the sea, the city and the mountains.
This is where all its advantages end, and now in order:
1. Very low tables, tables so low that when you sit down at them, your knees are above the level of the countertop. Simply put, you can only drink and have a snack there. To eat, you either need to "fold into three knees", leaning forward and down. Or take a plate in your hands and eat on the weight. In any case, it is very inconvenient and unpleasant.
2. The glass walls are made like doors (sliding or opening, I still did not understand), the mechanisms are weak, and since this is an open place on the seashore, the wind constantly opens them here and there, and you start to blow through.
3. Cats. This is a separate topic. Because the walls open, the cats come inside and walk around the hall all the time. The waiters don't pay any attention to them, and they don't kick them out. Is it normal for local street animals to walk around the restaurant? Make your own conclusion.
4. Maintenance: it's nothing. The waiters do not know the menu and the composition of the dishes well, they are not very friendly and courteous.
5. Food. To say that it is simply tasteless is to say nothing. The three of us went to it (me, my wife and her friend). Everyone ordered something different. I always and everywhere try to order pasta first, and use it to determine whether the kitchen is cooking well or not. So, they cook terribly there, it's very difficult to eat, and it's also inconvenient because of the low tables.
My wife ordered a volume of Yam, which almost entirely went to the trash. Even with the potatoes, they managed to screw up, which was ordered by a friend of his wife.
The vegetable salad was more or less tolerable, and the tea was not bad.
6. Prices: the price tag there is significantly higher than the average in Sukhum. Probably the fact is that this is an embankment, and there is a panoramic view available. But for this money, you expect better service, amenities, and more delicious food. Well, so that the animals are not allowed in.
Conclusion: you can come to this place to drink tea/ coffee, contemplate the surrounding nature through panoramic glazing, and nothing more.
For the location and views, I put 3, if not for them, I would put one.

He said it wasn't that, they told me unequivocally that it was that. Casadilla is 2 envelopes, burrito is one package, but the waitress was adamant. The price difference was also not confused. As always in Abkhazia, it is easier to pay than to argue. The view and the fresh wind, thank God, are beyond the influence of the local population. They would have ruined it too and forced tourists to pay for it.
Abkhazians need to learn from the Montenegrins: although they are lazy, they are not aggressive. They are being made fun of, but without malice.

It's the worst restaurant in Sukhum in my opinion. Dear, the prices are above average even by Moscow standards. Waiters manage to confuse orders even with a half-empty hall. The food was all tasteless, especially the Apra salad - it seemed that someone just got sick. Instead of the declared tiger prawns, the usual ones were brought. They really regretted coming here. I'll give you one extra star for the view, it's gorgeous, you can't take that away. But don't set foot in here anymore because of the kitchen.

It's a very atmospheric place. Beautiful views from the windows. By the way, the panoramic windows can be easily shifted and opened in sections - in warm weather it feels like you are sitting on the deck of a ship. The menu is very extensive! The prices are average (1 dish is about 350-450 rubles). Everything is available (we had lunch with the family, everyone ordered different dishes and we were not refused on any request). They cook quickly. There are no comments on the serving and quality of the food. The price is fully consistent with the quality! The only remark is low tables, the first one is not very convenient, especially for those with a "dense" physique.

We had dinner in the restaurant part of Apra with friends, we wanted to see this famous place. As a result, there is:
1) Inflated price tags for dishes that are served in other places with similar chic.
2) The food is served quite tasteless, which causes a lot of questions on this price tag, for example, in one of the salads there was bell pepper, which is not reflected in the menu, rolls whose rice is over-dried and over-salted, stale julienne and tasteless lemonades.
3) A well-stocked hookah that matches its description.
4) A good view, you can see dolphins swimming nearby.
5) Not too many people (in the restaurant area, in the back of the establishment).
6) A calm environment.
7) Delicious ice cream (there is coffee, and there is a cocktail).
As a result, I do not recommend the institution, it is expensive, it is not worth your money.
