The main complaint is the quality of the hostel, a shame and disgrace for the oil and gas college.
Windows are blown in winter and they are not going to be replaced. Taking a shower is a separate torture, when hot water pours under weak pressure and you have to wait until cold water pours so as not to burn your head. I am silent about the quality of furniture and plumbing. We bought everything the cheapest, and if it breaks, then the students pay. It looks frankly pathetic. The fee was raised from 50 thousand to 80 thousand tenge, it is not clear why. Every year there are only more breakdowns and no major repairs. Some janitors do not know the rules of the hostel - they are forced to wash the floors where the cleaners wash them. Before my eyes, the commandant of the hostel never made a detour and did not ask the students about their satisfaction with the living conditions. Requests and wishes are not taken into account.There is barely one washing machine in the laundry room. The problem is listening to lectures online when the Internet at a HIGHER COLLEGE is running at 300kb/s. 2-3 people live in cramped rooms, and for the sake of appearance in front of the sanitary inspection station, they are shown rooms where 1-2 people live, exactly the amount for which the area of the rooms is designed. The college administration should take measures to improve the living conditions of students.

I was sent by the Kentek company to spend the night in a hostel in the same building. I have no idea if they are one or under rent from someone, but I would like to share a review about the hostel itself:
The room itself is clean, but I had to go up to the 4th floor myself with my things without an elevator. The room is divided into single and double rooms. They are separated by a small passage to the bathroom, where there is a small bathtub with a shower, a curtain, a sink, and a bathroom - also tiny, the toilet barrel is malfunctioning, the sink is small, the doors close noisily, which means you will not sleep well, you can hear everything that the neighbor is doing and what he is doing in the bathroom. I lived in a double room where there is a door, but there is no core, I just left things in the closet, pouring over what would happen to them. only the outer door is locked with a key and the fact that one key is for three people is not surprising! You will have to look for your neighbor or wait until he comes. The sockets at the beds are blocked. I had to charge the phone on the ceiling at the level of the air conditioner. That's why I broke the phone case. By the way, the laundry was not given out until you demand it. I had to fight for bed linen. Towels were given out. I am no longer able to drain you, on the contrary, everything will remain on you. There are two closets, with one hanger. There are blinds on the windows. The air conditioner is working, but the remote control for two rooms is the same.

So half of the students in 2016'2017 were brought by relatives, teachers, employees and, like, studied without attending classes for absolutely years, received Canadian diplomas for almost 3 million Taxpayers' money of the Republic of Kazakhstan!

I had a two-day TB briefing in college. I liked the training itself and how it is taught. But I lived in a dorm. The conditions were good, except for the bathroom and toilet. The doors did not close either in the toilet or in the bathroom. There was no mirror. And the bathroom drain didn't work, there was always water in the pan. Therefore, I put 5 + for my studies, 3 for the conditions in the hostel.
