I'll be biased here, but I can't help it. This is our favorite place, we've been going there for over 18 years, it's consistently delicious, friendly, fast, and cozy. Of course, over the years, we have already met the owners, friendly and smiling people. Sometimes we went to other apatskhs, either by invitation, or in another city of Abkhazia, you know, sometimes it was just as delicious, but this place is the best for me and my family. Khachapuri, roast pork, hominy, lobio, pickles...mmmm, everything is consistently delicious and fresh. The price tag is normal

The best cafe in Abkhazia!!! The food is 6+, the hospitality is 6+, the staff is 6+, and the hosts... 6++++++ !!! And it's all on a three-point system!!! Prosperity to you, our dear ones!!! Every time we visit Abkhazia, we definitely come to your cafe. It's already a tradition. But , apparently , it 's time to change traditions . We arrived very hungry , we went to this place on purpose . I will say that the kitchen was very badly damaged, the shish kebab (chicken, There was nothing else) was very sour and very salty, they took it to the waiter for a taste, it turned out to be . He says it's the cook adding soy sauce for flavor!!!! Shish kebab and soy sauce are something new. Abkhazia is a place of incredible spices, and they are soy sauce. Well , how so!!!! We ordered grilled vegetables ( 2 tomatoes , 2 peppers and 2 eggplants were brought ) That's two servings!!!! And the cost of these vegetables is 1800 rubles , how so ???? And then we realized how , the waiter said that the chicken kebab wouldn 't count for us , it went for 900 rubles . But they cunningly included these 900 rubles in grilled vegetables !!! Well done , they obviously value their reputation very much . We don't advise you to set foot anywhere else.

To eat national cuisine only in apatskhu! You won't eat such hominy and beans anywhere else on tour.
Always eat where the locals eat. There are separate rooms, there is a possibility of a common room

I've been here several times, I liked everything. The last time, it was March 8th, we stopped by for lunch. They waited for the waitress, they didn't wait, they went to look for her to take the order, they waited for an order from the usual dishes for 30 minutes, then they didn't wait, they went to call her to bring the bill. Hominy was included in the bill, which they forgot to bring us. And they included a 10% tip (which I hadn't been charged before, and it's not written about anywhere on the menu). These 350 rubles are probably for the fact that we called ourselves. There are 3-4 dishes, some are delicious, some are average, they used to be tastier, faster, and the price tag was raised. I'm not coming here anymore.

A great place for any holiday, as well as for an event. We went on vacation from Krasnodar and ordered a banquet for our company! I was glad that everything was already prepared for our arrival! Delicious dishes and drinks were quickly served. And everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. I liked everything! Especially hominy and meat served with it. And I also want to note the beauty created by the owner himself, I attached a photo. I liked the pleasant music. Delicious coffee! Pleasant impressions remained with me and with everyone who was with us! Thank you so much for the cozy cafe where you can relax and unwind! A great restaurant. The dishes are large, delicious and inexpensive. If you do not like spicy food, please specify when ordering, because the kitchen is spicy. There are 2 toilets, parking on site. Halls and tables for a large company and, most importantly, very friendly girls. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food.

The middle place. Prices, as in many places in Abkhazia, are overpriced and the food hardly matches them: the hash and tortilla were really tasty, but the chicken in the satsivi was oak and with bones, the eggplant rolls were excessively fatty and not with a very tasty nut filling. I'm unlikely to come here a second time and I don't recommend it to you.

The place is good, the staff (the girl) is polite and pleasant. The food is delicious, but one piece of advice to the owners is not to get so carried away with spicy seasonings. Guests from Russia (especially women and children) are not used to such spicy food. It is better to under-sharpen and put pepper and adjika on the table and the guests themselves will add as much spice as they need. Strangely, we ate here twice and the first time everything was normal, and the second time it was very spicy (especially solyanka and lobio).

Advised by a local friend. The place is modest, simple, without frills and the usual service. There is another one opposite, but choose the one to the right of the highway at the exit from Gagra.This place is more for locals. But it is here that you can taste the local cuisine. I really liked the lamb, tastier than in the cafe in Gagra. The prices are reasonable. While waiting for a taxi, the owners allowed us to enter the room where they were preparing for Easter (smoked meat, cheese, painted eggs on a fire in a cauldron). They are friendly. For those who are looking for a local flavor, that's the thing. You can get from Gagra by taxi 250 rubles. The food was not photographed, because they were very hungry and ate everything. I recommend trying the Achapa set (bean and nut paste).

When I read reviews about "acutely", I grinned - ppfff, weaklings! It's hard to surprise me with the sharpness, in Thailand, the locals shook hands with respect. But this is really too much, the usual kuchmach, which is everywhere in Abkhazia, plus or minus the same severity, made fierce almost on the verge of pain. For some reason, they made a spicy shish kebab, and children can only eat flour here, thanks at least for not thinking to pepper khachapur. The meaning of this action escapes me, what is the purpose of making generally pleasant food inedible? And so, by and large, an ordinary average kid. If you want to finish the evening without burning your mucous membrane, you'd better go to the Apsny across the street.

First, let's clarify the location, since apatkha - the common name - is a traditional kitchen, that is, a detached building in the courtyard of an Abkhazian house. This apatkha is called Apatsha Psakharta, as it is located in the village of Psakharta (translated into Russian Colchis), immediately at the exit from Gagra in the direction of Sukhum. The taxi driver suggested this cafe to us. There is a summer playground and a winter option - a common room and booths with one table for six people. Don't expect a chic interior, but we were delighted with the cuisine and prices. Delicious shish kebab 100 g 100 r, lamb 100 g 70 r, bottled wine 0.7 -300 r, homemade wine 1.5 l -300r, cognac 0.5 - 700 r. The food is very tasty, the portions are good. There is a dance floor outside, even in January there is live music. A taxi from Gagra from the Alex Resort hotel costs 150 rubles. I recommend it! I will add that we visited this cafe again in January 2021, we were very satisfied, everything is just as tasty and inexpensive!

After reading such laudatory reviews, we decided to end our vacation in Gagra in this cafe. We arrived (the taxi really costs 150 rubles) and were the only guests. But that didn 't stop us from waiting at least 40 minutes . During this time, an impressive team of local cats and hungry kittens gathered at our table. A charming black and white puppy also came. Finally, our order arrived, all the dishes at once, although we asked in turn. Well, the pitch is fine, let it be without frills .. just crumpled pans and over - dried meat floats in them in a sea of fat . We ordered a local kuchmach (tripe , liver and heart) - spicy , just banally spicy . Khinkali was edible. Shish kebab too . Not wow, but you can eat. Of course, the tea was a success))
As a result, most of the ordered food was fed to local animals. And this is the best outcome of our visit there. Although I'm worried about their stomachs because of the abundance of pepper and seasonings. Definitely not recommended
