Angkor Wat: The splendor of antiquity! 🌟 I recently visited Angkor Wat, and this place just amazed me with its beauty and history! 🏯✨ From the very first steps, you feel the grandeur of this architectural marvel. The temples impress with their scale and detailed carvings, and the atmosphere around them is simply mesmerizing. I especially recommend visiting the sunrise — it is an unforgettable sight when the first rays of the sun illuminate the ancient walls. A walk through the temple grounds allows you to immerse yourself in the history of the Khmer civilization. Every detail, every sculpture tells its own story. Don't forget to bring your camera — there are many incredible places to take photos! The on-site staff is very friendly and ready to answer any questions. It is also worth paying attention to local guides who can tell you a lot about the culture and history of this place. Angkor Wat is not just a tourist attraction, it is a real treasure trove of culture and history. Be sure to visit this place if you are in Cambodia! 🌏❤️ I recommend it to everyone!

The ancient Angkor Wat in Cambodia is a place where I have long dreamed of going! Dating back to the 12th century, the unique monument in Cambodia is considered to be a giant religious complex dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Locals call the temple the soul of the Khmer nation, and inspired tourists — another wonder of the World in the jungle. There is more than one temple, the Angkor Historical Park is the remains of the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the capital of the Khmer Empire. The park complex stretches for more than 20 kilometers. Since 1431, it has been destroyed by Siamese troops, and time has drowned it under the "blanket" of the tropics and jungles. At various times, Angkor Wat turned into: -Hindu monastery, -dangerous jungle with elements, -Buddhist sanctuary, -the royal tomb, -a monastery for hermit monks without the right of entry here to outsiders. After the era of stagnation until 1860, the religious Angkor Wat was rediscovered by the traveler Henri Muo. Since 1992, the ancient temple in Cambodia has been under UNESCO protection, is being restored and restored to this day.

If you have arrived in Pattaya, then this is a great opportunity to visit Cambodia for 2 days with its fantastic 12th-century temple complex. What we watched on a TV show or in some kind of video blog, we saw live. We took a walk through the temple where Jolie starred in the first part of the Lara Croft film. It was interesting. The guides from Biblio Globus were great. I definitely recommend it. Accommodation in a great cozy hotel, meals in a restaurant, watching the slowest ballet in the world over dinner - all this left pleasant memories.

I was lucky to visit this gorgeous place. When a temple complex opens up in the middle of the jungle, you feel awe and respect for the work of the people who built it. Be sure to bring water with you and wear sneakers or any closed shoes. The monkeys are arrogant, chase them away.

I specially took an excursion from Thailand to Cambodia to see these temples. Something unreal . I've been to Luxor and Giza , and I've seen the pyramids and these anchors , and it feels like they were created by an extraterrestrial , more advanced civilization . I don't think the people of that time could have created such structures . Although there is an obvious one . If you are vacationing in Thailand, spare no money on an excursion tour to Cambodia to visit the Anchors, you will get an unforgettable experience.

I'll say this-with a good guide, most Cambodian temples will sparkle with different colors. Angkor Wat is good, but the presence of tourists greatly spoils the exposition Overall, Cambodia is beautiful.

It is located on the territory of Cambodia. It is worth coming to this country just for the sake of this complex. The colossal structure and ancient history, strong energy are all here in the Angkor Wat temple complex. I definitely recommend it for a visit.

Ankor wat is the first of the temple complexes that you will start visiting. There are a lot of photographers here, so you can safely entrust them with your photos (just ask them in electronic form (a photo set is very cheap), in print it is more expensive). Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water and a good mood are provided for you. I recommend using sunscreen, otherwise you risk sitting in the room the next day if you burn out.

We've been planning to visit this place for a long time, now we finally got here!!! We took an ex-yu from Pattaya for 2 days. It is very interesting, you will learn a lot about the country and history. The scale of the buildings certainly amazes with its beauty and grandeur of the ancient civilization. The other locations are also interesting. In the evening, we visited a restaurant with a performance by the Royal Ballet of Cambodia-very beautiful, chic costumes. On the territory of the temple there is a local bazaar with souvenirs and clothes at very cheap prices. Coffee is delivered to the store, the range from simple to "luvak" at more or less reasonable prices. The only disadvantage is the long road there for about 4 hours to the border, the passage of the border for about an hour and then another 2 hours to Siem Reap. If you are not afraid of a long journey, I highly recommend it!!! Visit time 02.23 g

The grandeur and scale of the structures is amazing. An incredibly beautiful temple complex, which is probably impossible to explore in a month. We had a day trip and it's very, very small. We definitely want to come back again to be able to devote at least 5-7 days to this attraction. The scale of the complex is impressive, the architecture, it does not fit into my head how people could build it in the 12th century. Restoration work is currently underway and I am very pleased that it is being done very carefully and accurately. A unique place with the strongest energy! Majestic, powerful, unforgettable!

It was for the sake of Angkor that we were carried from Pattaya to Sien Reap, more than 400 km away. We have never regretted it. There were visits to 4 temples. Angkor wat, That prom, That Who and Bayon. So the Bayonne struck me the most. It's useless to tell.

An extraordinary temple complex that has been under construction for 300 years. It probably takes a month to get around it all. But the main most interesting buildings for today can be bypassed in 2-3 days. Angelina Jolie starred here and also fell in love with this country and its people. The empire, which has been building extraordinary temples for so many centuries, was parallel in time with the formation of Russia. The population is mixed of local aborigines, Chinese and Indians, who were already actively trading with the entire region. They also brought Hinduism and Buddhism. The temples were opened quite accidentally by the end of the 19th century. The French government funded the restoration of these temples and left this legacy to Cambodia. It was done, of course, with great professionalism and love of history. I recommend you to visit and definitely take a walk along the Siem Reap embankment, the city next to the Anchor.

From my point of view, the best option is a 3-day ticket.Ticket 1d,-37$,3 days 62$.Children are free/I have 6/10L/ The ticket office is remote, first there.Your photo will be on the tickets. Local access is free around the clock, so there are shops everywhere inside, etc. The locals divide the visit into 2 routes.A large circle, about 25km and a small one/central temples, elephant alley and the Anchor itself/ The big circle is impressive, especially the famous temple from Lara Croft, beautiful temples of the 9th / 10th century where you can go everywhere, and to the very top, and with children, and no one can stand the brain. Personally, I was also struck by the temple with aquatic creatures on a square island in a square lake. But everyone has their favorite places here. Tuktuk is the most convenient option / we agreed directly, not through the hotel, $20 all day for four. The small circle is a huge temple with faces in the center / only the first floor is open / definitely must see, elephant alley, the local old VK /Facebook on the walls is very even,12 towers are nothing, Bapuon temple is mandatory, they will already tell you that children cannot go up, it's very dangerous. The rest are optional. And on the last day, Anchor wat itself. The temple belongs to the 4 largest human buildings on the planet, located on an island. For the whole day, calmly, without hurrying. Children are also not allowed on the upper tier. We took tuktuki all the days / this is a motorcycle with a sidecar for 3/4 people/.the best option. You need to fly to Siem Reap. The airport is 55 km from the city, it is better to book a transfer from the hotel. The entrance to the airport is paid, so there are no taxi drivers inside). Bus tours from Thailand or Vietnam are a terrible gemeroy, definitely not worth it. Once, be sure to stop at the bridge with the main big gate and a bunch of statues of guards. The photos and videos are great. The restaurant, where everyone from all over the city is invited, with dancing and a performance, is worth the money. Elephants are somehow ambivalent, like children and delighted, but it seems expensive / far away and what are we doing here. The customs is friendly at the entrance, the visa is in cash dollars on the spot. And the hemorrhoid is at the exit, Thai sand was taken from the beach, well, what kind of people. In general, one of the places you must see once in a lifetime. It is more impressive than you expect on the one hand, the whole flavor of Cambodia, so to speak, on the other.

There are places on our planet where centuries-old history lives and is kept. This place is one of them. It's breathtaking! Not to visit it means not to visit Cambodia. Moreover, in this place, somehow correctly, the laws of restoration are observed-it is very carefully carried out and you will not immediately figure out where it has been restored and where the buildings of 10-12 centuries are. The size of the complex, its architecture and forms are very impressive.... Yes, everything is just impressive. Get up at any point-a chick photo-and a masterpiece. The blue sky, the stone dark from antiquity and the sun, the greenery of trees and grass: the perfect combination of colors. I definitely recommend you to visit, breathe in the history, be a part of it.

I recently visited the Angkor Temple, took an excursion from Pattaya, rode a comfortable bus for a long time and it was not at all difficult. The tour was multifaceted, we stopped at a village on the water, where houses stand on stilts, right in the water, in the evening we had dinner with a colorful Cambodian ballet, which is listed in the Guinness Book as the slowest ballet. And in the morning, at 6.00, we went to this unusual beautiful temple, somewhere far away in the jungle. And he appeared to us at dawn in all his glory, so huge with five lotus-shaped caps. He simply struck me with his greatness and beauty. And how, the roots of the trees sprouted through the walls of the temple and this further adds to the strangeness and exoticism. A film with Angelina Jolie "Lara, Croft" and a cartoon Mowgli were filmed in one of the temples. There are little monkeys running around, but they don't pay attention to us. When you climb up, you will see an unusual panorama of this temple. And of course, it's a pity that it was looted, it was all covered in gold and precious stones, but this does not interfere, but on the contrary adds some kind of mystery and uniqueness

This is truly the eighth wonder of the world. The temple is a masterpiece of beauty. It's just breathtaking to admire the sight of him. Yes, the architects were brilliant. They managed to build such splendor even on the swamp with its colossal size, monstrous weight, and after all, it still stands, it has not even sunk. No wonder the Khmers called it the capital temple and placed it on their flag.
