I haven't been in this area for 30 years, but it so happens that I now work here. A lot has changed, it has become better. The courtyards are neat, but the people remained the same, as if they had returned to old Almaty. I like.
A small market. It has a complex of cafes. Grocery stores and car-themed shops. Paint and varnish materials for cars, auto parts, car audio. Due to the lack of similar shops in the lower part of the city. In demand
It's bad that they don't work on weekends, people nearby in the service station make their cars and they have to drive all over the city and look for spare parts, and boutiques outside sell all sorts of nonsense but not essential spare parts
Not the cheapest bazaar. But everything you need for construction and repair is there

I really liked the attitude and friendliness of the sellers. Great service and reasonable prices.
But I didn't like that, of course, not all of them, but some of them smoke without leaving the counters. And the fire is not a joke. Moreover, everyone can suffer, right down to the buyers.
I ask the management to pay attention to this
