The beautiful and touching love story of Azerbaijani Muslim Ali and Georgian Orthodox Christian Nino, described in the novel by Azerbaijani writer Kurban Said, inspired Georgian architect Tamara Kvesitadze to create this futuristic masterpiece. The monument is also called "Man and woman".
The heroes of Kurban Said's novel overcome all sorts of life obstacles on the way to their union, but fate is unfavorable to them.
Seven-meter figures made of metal plates move for 10 minutes. They merge in a kiss, dissolving into each other, and part to meet and separate again. The recording in the video has been accelerated several times.
I will not be lying if I say that I have never seen a more beautiful monument.
