I really liked it. The old-school atmosphere, which is sometimes so lacking. A rich selection of food and drinks, attentive service, reasonable prices. And most importantly, delicious cuisine. Wonderful kebabs. Pleasant, calm live music. In general, they were great!
I was at the May holidays in Uzbekistan. In the afternoon, in the heat of 38 degrees, while exploring Tashkent, I passed by this cafe, decided to go by the reviews on Yandex Maps. And I can say that I was very pleased. The location is very convenient - the center, next to the picturesque Ankhor Canal, on a hot day, with a glass of beer or lemonade is simply amazing! The service is really not very prompt.
And I can say that Lagman is simply above all praise! Having arrived after Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, I returned specifically for him on the last day. I recommend it!
You can go with your parents or with your grandparents.
Outdated location
But the relatives like it and are very satisfied.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is also pleasant.
The place is calm, the atmosphere is under the tourist USSR. We were in the afternoon, there are not many people, the microclimate is working.
There were no catlets from the menu. The flatbread is not Uzbek, but rather like a bun.
The kebabs are of good size, and very tasty. Salads with butter are medium-sized portions, delicious. I recommend Crispy eggplant.
The service is excellent, very friendly.
Prices for Tashkent are slightly above average. We had a good lunch and gave 350 thousand soums for two.
For the first time in all the previous visits, there were disgusting garlics, an unpalatable tortilla with nuts, and the waiter, writing down the order, which was repeated to him several times, still did not correctly record the hot dish.....
Atmospheric cafe above the canal, beautiful design. There are also closed halls. You can sit outside by the fountain, which is important in summer. Very tasty Gijduvan shish kebab and tortillas. And wonderful Tashkent tea and lemon. The service is good.
It's nice here in summer. There is fresh beer and everything goes with the beer. They don't say much in winter, I haven't been there myself, so I won't comment on anything.
We celebrated the meeting of classmates 40 years later. Everything is very tasty, the service is excellent, cheerful music, pleasant atmosphere, river, lots of greenery.I recommend it to everyone
It's a good place, especially in the heat it's cool by the river. The service was fast. The kebabs are delicious. A quiet and pleasant place. There was music. Nearby, a birthday party was being celebrated merrily.
A very pleasant place , a welcoming atmosphere , polite and helpful staff , they cook great , Soviet- style ice cream is something ! The meat melts in your mouth. I recommend it to everyone
My favorite cafe, as long as I live, I go there with my family. It is always very atmospheric and pleasant. At inexpensive prices, we always sit by the water, we don't like the hall, because it's worth updating tablecloths, furniture, etc. Otherwise our favorite place
AL AZIZ restaurant is located in the very center of the city on C-5 under the bridge along the bank of the Ankhor River
there are places for large and small companies
A very pleasant and beautiful place for special events (weddings , receptions , birthdays)
Fine dining
The interior is super
The staff is very polite
The location is convenient
The parking lot is huge
My family is very fond of AL AZIZ
OOPS NO PHOTOS (I don't like to be photographed)
A cozy corner, like outside the city, a fountain, a feast! The menu is for every taste, the choice is huge, everything is delicious, especially the salad "crispy eggplant". However, I didn't like the beer
A good place to sit, drink and eat: delicious, fast, friendly. Of course, you need to order national Uzbek cuisine, pay special attention to lamb liver kebabs. But order only what you know / see prices for on the menu: otherwise you may be surprised. Not fatal, but twice :)
The staff is excellent. Shurpa is also very tasty. Lagman is overcooked sai. I didn't try Beshbarmak, but it looked delicious. A kebab from a loin is not the same at all. But ground and lumpy is very tasty. The salads are delicious too, the mojito is great too. The tablecloth is prickly and there is no lumpy mutton. Sorry. We were sitting by the pool and the wet effect was not turned on at all, it was not really stuffy. The staff is gorgeous. The girls are running around like a torpedo and the guys were also constantly watching the clean.
Excellent tender kebab
Mantas are very tasty
Salad with eggplant
Soups are also on fire.
There are very pleasant places by the river, but it is better to book them in advance
The place is in the form of a small garden, very beautiful. But the benches are not moving and there is no back. So it's not really about convenience)
In general, the choice of seats is diverse
And the choice of dishes is even more!
Definitely 5*
A great restaurant with a good menu and excellent chefs. All the dishes taken are excellent. The waiters are very polite and helpful, the view from the terrace is beautiful. The prices for the dishes, by St. Petersburg standards, are good. In general, I advise everyone.
Alaziz is a place that every Tashkent citizen probably knows! Because this is a place where it is delicious, beautiful, safe and very soulful both in the spring awakening, and on a hot summer day at the cool Anchor,..euro dishes with our classic barbecue and the calm attitude of the staff. Good location in the city...but you can easily drive along the road without knowing...
Delicious and varied national dishes. There are trestles, tables near the fountain, tables for the company. The service is quite fast. I didn't like the tip amount of 20%.

A gorgeous place that has been holding the brand for all these years. I was just stunned to see the menu, it spelled out the composition of the dish, the grams, and those responsible for these dishes. You will not see this anywhere in restaurants in Tashkent. Gazebos on the river create an atmosphere of solitude in the forest. You seem to be in the center of Tashkent, and at the same time in the countryside. Thank you for the atmosphere and the guidance of Al Aziz!
It's a very decent place. I think it's a plus, the administration is obsessed with cleanliness. I quote:"Not a single fly that I haven't seen." Well, they cook delicious
Pilaf and shish kebab are very tasty.
A large menu, even a very large one!
Salads,
Snacks, pastries, meat.
The interior is very pleasant, the water is so beautiful in general
The prices are also good. It's worth going here for local food
A great place to have a good time with family or friends polite staff, good cuisine, music, reasonable prices, the atmosphere worships relaxation in the hot season by the river in contact with nature what else does a person need to have a good time.I recommend.
The place is very beautiful, of course. A fountain, a canal nearby, the atmosphere is great.
That's where the advantages end) I was recommended to try the barbecue. There was no lamb, OK, I ordered beef and achikuchuk. They carried the shish kebab for a long time, as a result, I was very surprised when I saw that out of five pieces of shish kebab, two were pure fat, which is impossible to eat (( Achikuchuk is also strange: it is usually thinly sliced, but here, as if with a blunt knife, tomatoes and onions were chopped and brought. So-so, in general. The meat itself was delicious.
If you are a tourist and want authentic cuisine for reasonable money, this is it. I had a wonderful lunch with chebureks and pilaf. Not pretentious, fast and good!
We would like to express our gratitude to the chefs for the delicious dishes and special thanks for the professionalism of the waiter Arthur. High-quality, courteous and fast service. We recommend visiting this particular institution in Tashkent. Tourists from Moscow and Kazan. The Meleshchuk family and the Degtyarev family.
The place is atmospheric, but for once.
We booked a table by the water by calling the specified number, but as a result there was no reservation in our name, but it's not so scary, we found a table, sat down. The food is average, without a "wow" effect. Some items were missing from the menu. In the evening, midges and mosquitoes gather near the water, which makes it uncomfortable.
The most interesting was the bill, which included a fee for musical accompaniment, in addition to the service. It's not difficult for us, we paid, but none of the staff warned us about it, but we really would like to.
Growth and development of your business!
One of the most delicious kebabs in the city. The place has been known for more than 30 years, it has always been delicious. They have a great summer porch, but unfortunately in winter and autumn the indoor space looks very Soviet-style.
This restaurant is located in a very picturesque place in Tashkent. A dense forest of tall trees, combined with the winding riverbed of the Anchor. In summer, spending time with your family in this coolness is one bliss. But I would like to wish the cafe owners to improve the interior a little. Buy furniture, improve the kitchen, slightly revise the prices, you will not have free places.
Just today we were with friends and children. We come here very often.I like the food, it's very tasty. The waiters are all friendly and smiling! And in summer, at tables near the water, we generally have wonderful evenings!
An old restaurant of the middle price segment, still with Soviet standards, with grammovki on the menu and so on. There are always places because there is a very large area both on the summer holiday and indoors, a huge selection of dishes. Any alcohol at a price approximately 2-2.5 times more expensive than in the store.
Friends highly recommended visiting here and trying kebabs. On July 20, 2023, with four children, good mood and excellent appetite, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the evening was ruined not only by the long wait for the order, but also by the director. The order was accepted from us quickly, and that was the end of all good things. after 10 minutes, a man came up to us and in a boorish tone began to ask why we were sitting here, whether we had made an order, to demand that we list what we had ordered, and began to raise the children. When I asked what was going on and who he actually was, the man introduced himself as the director. Next, this director turned to the waiter and said something in Uzbek, after which the waiter showed him our order, after which he turned around and left. To say that we were all shocked by what was happening, of course, is to say nothing. No apologies, nothing. The children were scared and the mood was spoiled. The barbecue was charred, the French fries were brought 30 minutes later, tea, as well as the bill, had to wait even longer. It is a pity that guests of the capital are greeted like this here. We will be in Tashkent for another 2 weeks, there are a lot of friends, but of course I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone under the management of such an inadequate director with such an attitude towards visitors.
It's not a bad cafe. Convenient location, good cuisine, good beer selection in summer. There have been problems with staff at various times, but, to give it its due, not often.
Al Aziz is our place of student gatherings. A real cafe of the 90s))) Delicious shish kebab, achuchuk, tea with lemon and sugar, puff pastry. The ladies are waitresses who ask to be in the frames of Soviet films. I was very touched by the menu with phrases: "Responsible for meat dishes ..." and next to the last name)))) A nice pleasant atmosphere, without pathos and rudeness!
