A wonderful historical place to visit if you are nearby. Reconstruction is currently underway, so it was not possible to fully enjoy the beauty of the acropolis itself. The area around is being improved, going down from the acropolis, you can see the ancient stadium and amphitheater, which are perfectly preserved. The views are simply magnificent.

You can walk to the acropolis of Rhodes in the evening when there is no heat.
There is not much there: the acropolis proper, consisting of three columns under restoration; an amphitheater and a stadium.
Interestingly, the stadium is still used for its intended purpose: locals go there to run.
