We came to this hotel for an event in the conference hall
The views are gorgeous, the hotel is cool, the nature is amazing
But the service leaves much to be desired.
It is impossible to eat in a cafe (restaurant). The tables are not cleaned, most of the dishes are not there, in order to make an order and then pay off, I had to run and look for waiters.
Apparently, the end of the ski season had an effect, but the feeling of neglect did not leave

A good hotel, good trails, few people queuing on weekdays, average rooms, the food in the hotel is not very good, there is a bar nearby on the hill, there are not bad kebabs like in Soviet times, the price is 2600 tenge . There is another bar near the cash register, where there is already a better tea and fruit coffee pizza khachapuri. Skypass prices are not expensive. Instructors at 15,000 tenge per hour. In principle, it's not bad even for beginners. But the black track at the very top is not difficult for everyone.

Akbulak is a pleasant place for recreation and family walks. Clean air, picturesque mountain views and manicured paths make it a great place for walking and sports. The room was compact for 2 people, but we lived in four rooms. For the third year in a row I have been coming here to this room, the toilet is clean, there is a bathtub and a shower, a good sink, a mirror and a hairdryer. The room has a very comfortable bed, just like at home. There is a table, two cabinets and a prehistoric TV. Balcony with mountain view.

The cafes are full of trash with an unreasonably high price tag, they are half empty. Make canteens for a snack at a normal price. The price tag for skiing on weekdays and weekends is almost the same. Now it makes no sense to drive on a weekday. It's a shame when a mediocre and greedy leadership exploits the national treasure.

Such a nice place! It would be nice to have a family vacation. The designers worked very well, it's great to go out on the track in the morning right from the hotel, everything is convenient, everything is nearby. But it feels like all this has been going on since Soviet times. It's time to take care of the renovation of the building. The prices in the restaurant are simply killing with their price/quality discrepancy. Why make such extra charges. People are eating there out of desperation! With surprised faces, paying by check. With normal pricing, the room would be full. Why this empty stage with huge speakers? There is a bar in the basement- I went in, wondered why there were no Soviet saleswomen in caps, silently left ... dear management, take care of the complex inside! It's time! A long time ago! How can you expect to make a profit on the old base without investments? Thanks to the service staff for their responsible work. Except for the instructors. They catch the coient like airport bombs. I don't care about the result, the main thing is that the counter prints faster. Early in the morning before sunrise, the Corduroy is already on the highway- cancer-respect for tractors!

We rent a suite in this hotel every year, every year, and every time I write my complaints in their offer book. But, of course, there was no reaction. Why did you put up this century-old furniture, sideboards, a desk - why? These mahogany coffins take up so much space, and you keep kicking your feet, your toes. Three or even four people should move the table. The sofa is goodbye to the back, especially when unfolded, it is simply impossible to sleep on it. Even the children shifted to the bed in the middle of the night. Bed linen, towels - it was bought in the last century, everything is washed, never ironed, gray in color and a terrible smell. These plush curtains, it's even scary to touch them, it feels like all the dust of centuries is about to fall off them. The refrigerator is walled up in the cabinet, it heats up there, it makes terrible noise, especially at night. We paid for an extra person, but dishes, towels, etc. must be begged, and the phone in the room does not work. I have to constantly go downstairs to the reception. And breakfast is generally a separate story. It's getting worse and worse every year. To drink tea - cold water, water in a jug - obviously from the tap. Sausages are fried until charred, not that there is, it's scary to look at. Terrible porridges. Knowing these breakfasts, we take our groceries with us. We went to the restaurant for lunch, the waiter brought the dishes, and immediately requested payment. I asked her to come over later so she could at least try, not to mention just eat in peace, but no, she was standing over her soul and didn't leave until they paid. Why do the owners of this hotel dislike their customers so much?! It's not clear. After all, everything is simple - free the room from this medieval horror, put up light comfortable furniture, change those terrible curtains, because there is such a beautiful view of the mountains. We stay there because of the mountains, because we ski and put our children and grandchildren on skis. That's what I have no complaints about at all. Instructors, equipment work, everything is fine. But the hotel itself is a horror!!! It's a disgusting hotel.

We went to Ak-bulak at a discount on choco, we liked everything. Since we went out of season and on weekdays, we could not appreciate all the possibilities of the resort, since there were only a few people there besides us and a lot of things did not work. But the rest turned out great! The rooms are clean, bright, and had a balcony. It is a little disappointing that there is no kettle and no dishes in the room. The pool is huge, the water temperature is comfortable, the spa services were not used. The restaurant was open, and although half of the dishes on the menu were not available, everything that was ordered was very tasty! Breakfasts are just some kind of holiday, they bring everything at once, they couldn't even eat everything. The territory is clean, beautiful mountain views, a small but good Playground. All the employees are nice and friendly! I recommend you to visit!

The organization of work is very poor. We booked two rooms in advance and paid for them. When we arrived at the sanatorium, not only were we not provided with a room, but we were not even on the lists. For a day we were accommodated in a hospital ward for rehabilitation patients, 5 people. And we paid 18,000 tenge for one bed. There were more than 30 people like us. They justified themselves to us by saying that the marketing service had made mistakes. But the next day, the same picture, the newcomers were sawed wherever possible. That is, here it is a system. A wonderful base and a huge wonderful park remained from the USSR, but all this is in such desolation. There are excellent medical staff, but unfortunately not all of them. They can't even measure the pressure, if they ask, they pump the tonometer up to 135 for the sake of appearance, but I am a hypertensive person with experience and I know that my pressure is not lower than 150. Only the employees of the canteen deserve praise, it was not always delicious, but there was enough food, the service was at a good level, they tried. I wrote a comment about my impressions on the sanatorium's website, but it was immediately deleted. I have rested in other sanatoriums, there is something to compare it with. I do not recommend it for rest and treatment

The best training ground in Alma-Ata and the region. There are tracks of the 2nd and 3rd level and at the very top there is a "Black" track, a real tough guy, there is not even such a one on the Cimbulac. There is also a good restaurant, a coffee house "At Roma" and a barbecue and pilaf near the "Glass" , ski rental, snowboards and "cheesecakes" + sportswear for all these types 👍🏻
