During the cruise, we visited the Acropolis of Athens, one of the richest open-air museums located in the center of the Greek capital, Athens. Temples that are more than 2000 years old have been preserved in this fortress, they were built in the 5th century BC. It was very interesting to see this magnificent structure.

The place is a must-visit! Greek culture has had a huge impact on the world. The Acropolis is the main attraction of Athens. After that, you can walk around the Monastyraki area or leave the city for the beach in the Galifada area. Athens has its own style, its own vape. During the day, cold coffee and a cigarette under a canopy are common here. I prefer without a cigarette. In the evening, the city is blooming, the sun is setting and everyone is trying to get a table in a panoramic restaurant somewhere on the roof. I wish you all to catch your wave!

A very beautiful historical place.
If you have reached Athens, then definitely go. This is a historical place of ancient Greece. You won't regret it. In the first few minutes you will experience an indescribable delight, then you will take a bunch of beautiful photos for memory.
And finally, at the foot, you will buy yourself a souvenir.
I recommend taking a guide at the entrance. Entrance, by the way, is paid.

If you love history and architecture, then you should definitely visit this place at least once. There are several sites near the Acropolis and the Parthenon that offer a good view of them, but the feeling when you visit them directly is simply grandiose. There will be an opportunity to visit not individually, but with a guide, be sure to use it.

I can't describe everything I saw there. I love Greece. Nowadays, of course, it has become inconvenient and expensive to get there, but the views are simply amazing, unfortunately there are no Russian-speaking excursions now, but I got out of the situation and took the red bus where the translation is in all languages.

Beautiful, like everything antique! Attention of tourists!!! Since October, winter time, closes at 18. Further worse until 15:00. Check the schedule in advance! In the morning, at the time of opening and 15 minutes before closing, you can see the flag raising/lowering ceremony, it's interesting. In general, 1-2 hours are enough for self-inspection of the territory. Two entrances, convenient transport accessibility, near the metro and tourist bus stops. It's very hot during the day, you need protection from the sun. Beautiful view of the city from the height of the plateau! Sunrise and sunset are especially beautiful here!

I was passing through Athens and decided to definitely visit the Acropolis. It was written on the Internet that it was open until 20.00, but it turned out in fact only in summer, when the sun sets late. I visited the Acropolis at the end of October and it was closed at 18.00, so I couldn't get in on the first day. The entrance cost about 2000 rubles. But such places are recommended to visit. They have their own atmosphere. Just an amazing place that is strongly remembered and etched in the memory.

Perhaps the only reason left for many to come to Athens. Over the past ten years, the Acropolis has become more restored and more interesting. However, the queues at the entrance and exit are just as wild. You can't say that about Athens itself. The streets have become dirtier, the center is impassable, pickpockets in crowded places, shops are closed on weekends, buildings are dilapidated and smeared with paint inscriptions.

By far the main, if not the most important, attraction of Greek Athens. To describe it in letters is a thankless task (there are not enough letters). And you can read all the information on the Internet. I can only say that the first time I was here in the mid-90s and the impressions were deep from both the Parthenon and the Caryatids, and I really liked the museum at the archaeological complex. Well, the view that opens onto the city is worthy of coming up here. At least once in my life.
