Good day, nice airport, you can always take a taxi.Good shops in the departure area.Large queues for check-in are quickly unloaded by airport staff. There aren't many flights, I didn't notice any delays.Plenty of places to rest before departure.Izmir is 10-20 minutes away by taxi. You can get to the Mall if you delayed your flight or arrived at the airport early.
A large convenient airport in Turkey's third largest city. Everything is clear, there are signs everywhere, the staff is responsive, clean. Prices are high, as in all airports. Buses (every hour) take you to the neighboring cities and to the center of Izmir, there is also a metro
I really liked Izmir airport, it is big enough, there is a lot of space to relax, good cafes to have a snack, there is a pharmacy. The atmosphere is calm, but the queue at the gate is always long, as there are many flights.
I liked the airport very much, the staff is attentive, everyone is friendly. There is an office on the 2nd floor, which accepts rubles for exchange. There is a metro near the airport, you can drive to the historical part of the city or to the beach, if you have time.
I liked the city of Izmir and its airport, I think I will fly here again!
It is very good and large for a regional airport. There is free Wi-Fi, rooms for changing kids, automatic luggage storage (330 lira for two suitcases per day), there are smoking rooms both before registration and after special control. That's just that duty free seemed quite expensive and very limited in assortment. Well, water for 3 euros for 0.33 after all was taken away at the special control - this is piggishness.
Good day to the travelers. A small airport for domestic flights. Cozy and clean. Everything is there to get flight information and needs on a daily basis. Pay attention to your flight information and you are ready to board the plane through the sleeve.
A small, cozy airport. Everything is intuitive. There are not many people, so registration is fast. Duty Free is small. There is a place to eat and drink coffee. You can connect free Wi-Fi. To do this, you need to find a terminal (kiosk) in the center of the hall, scan your passport and enter the code from the screen.
Chukhansky Turland airport . A small dutik, several cafes at prices ... xs of what. I've traveled half the world, but caesar salad for 14.5 €, cola 0.3 for 5 € and water 0.5 for 2.6 €, well, I'm not impressed. In Dutik, I bought a six-pack of beer for 6.5 euros ( six pieces) instead of water. I bought food at the airport of the European capital , and I spent the flight to Moscow on a plane where I picked up covid for the fifth time in my life and then at the Moscow airport, where they fucked all their brains looking for spies and foreign agents.
I was surprised that Izmir has such a large and modern airport. Several Turkish Airlines flights operate between Izmir and Istanbul during the day. The business hall is spacious, but the variety of food on offer is not very large
A huge airport, a boiling cauldron with people))!!!! An incredible number of departures and arrivals from all over the world. the amazing work of the airport services with such a volume of traffic! The queues are huge, but everything is organized and fast. The queue for passport control was 200 meters long, but it took 30 minutes for everything to pass!
The airport is quite spacious. You pass the checks quickly. All navigation is present. One of the disadvantages is that the air conditioners do not work well. It's very hot at the airport.
I would also like to mention the Primeclass Lounge business hall. Not bad, but only in terms of the choice of food and drinks. In this regard, it is significantly ahead of Sheremetyevo (Chagall Hall). The hall itself is small. A lot of people won't fit in there. There is no toilet, it is separate on the territory of the airport.
The airport is divided into 2 zones: internal, in Turkey, and external, communication with the world. The country section is more than modest. A couple of rows of chairs, a couple of shops. But the international part is quite decent. There are good shops, cafes, lots of smoking rooms, travelators, massage chairs. There are a lot of employees who sort and help tourists: check in electronically, check in their luggage, get a boarding pass. I liked.
It's a good airport. Clean, quiet, air conditioners are working everywhere. Those who have been to other Turkish airports will understand that this one is one of the best. The business room is small, with almost no outlets. What's upsetting
Convenient, compact enough, clear location of all checkpoints, shops, customs, etc.
They are cleaned regularly: therefore, it is clean and cozy. There is a place to eat. You can get there by Izban skytrain, which is a huge plus.
Quite an airport - for a provincial Turkish city, the level of service and comfort is simply excellent! Well done aviation guys from Turkish low-cost airlines - they came up with a cool hub for low-traffic lines, unloaded Istanbul.
In general, a good airport, all procedures were carried out quickly and without delay, Izmir can be reached by metro immediately from the airport, Havas buses also run from the airport directly to Cesme via Urla and Alacati, of the disadvantages, only in the area of local departures after passing the inspection, the toilets are very small - one stall / urinal, therefore queues arise.
A very large, bright, cozy airport, it's just a pity that they were taking a bus to the plane, I'm shooting a star for this)
There are a lot of discounts on Turkish products in dutik and there are Russian-speaking sellers who are relevant.
A pleasant airport with clear navigation. Storage cells are cells with a poorly functioning program. There is a handset hanging next to it, on which a specialist conducts payment remotely in manual mode and opens a cell/closes it. In Izmir itself, in restaurants and other cafes, payment is only in lira! We hardly found a currency exchange point. And it wasn't a bank)) We went to banks out of habit, but none of them changed the currency.
Clean, beautiful, there are not so many racks, everything is easy to find. There are a lot of seats in the waiting room before passport control. Upon arrival, this area is clean and there are few people, there is a place to sit down. There are toilets all around. The train is located next to the airport building. Transport cards are sold from 7 a.m. at the entrance to the hut, an employee may not arrive on time and disappear in an unknown direction, then a queue is formed.
Great , a friendly team, the attitude is also perfect, they will answer , show and hold .Clean, neat. I advise you, everything was great. The impressions are great.Five points.
A comfortable and spacious airport. Everything is logical and understandable. Opposite the exit is a compact area with a taxi and a bus. Immediately upstairs on the escalator is the stop of the local isban commuter train. For 48.5 liras, you can get to the city center in half an hour and 100 liras for the Izmir card
A small airport. The staff is not very friendly to passengers. All questions are answered unequivocally - I don't know. If you are flying in transit, you need to be very persistent and attentive, you may simply not be allowed to join the flight with the words - you are not here
It was in November. Obviously not in season. I liked the airport, it was clean, there were few people, everything was fast and calm. It is quite possible to arrive on a domestic flight in an hour and a half.
There is free WI-FI, in the international departures area there is a vending machine where you need to rent a passport to get a password to it. Prices in local cafes bite, but there is a Burger King, where coffee and tea are very good.
Nice small airport (we were only in the place when flying in Turkey). Even if you don't know Turkish, they will help you everywhere!!! There is always a taxi at the exit!
A beautiful new airport without a crowd and a lot of people. It is beautifully clean, there is a smoking room, a small fireplace, much better than in Antalya. I recommend it!
A large airport. It is not very convenient that there is a long distance between domestic and international flights. It is convenient that the metro is close to the city center. With the delta between flights at 6 o'clock, it is quite possible to get to the city and walk around its center and along the embankment.
An excellent small airport (although there is something to compare it with). There is an electric train from the airport to the center of Izmir, the prices are humane, it won't take long to go.
There are shops and cafes at the airport. A separate respect is for the airport's business lounge, even some Moscow airports with their own business halls, rather resembling cheap canteens, were not nearby.
The business hall in Izmir has a fairly good assortment of food and drinks, including alcoholic ones.
There are definitely difficulties with navigation at the airport, it's not very clear what's where, but we figured it out. There is a smoking room on the lower floor, generally fine
Everything is great . Check - in for a flight in a minute , no queues . The staff is friendly , smiling . Everything is convenient , thought out , clearly .Easy to navigate . Cleanliness , order . Waiting for the flight is comfortable , the toilets are clean . All types of control at height .
on September 29, 2024 at 10.05 we left Antalya for Izmir by sunex plane, we were a non-event. I understand all kinds of planes that take off with a little rotation. But after landing, wait for the bus at the opened door of the plane for half an hour, get on the incoming bus while the nerves are on the line and wait for the suitcase inside for 1 hour. What kind of system do you have, they answer that there are no personnel, there is no equipment, of course, if you can find a solution. If we went by bus, we would probably be less tired. 👏👏👏👏
The airport is perfectly located, it is very convenient to get there. There are parking spaces. We arrived in advance, registration with the queue took 15 minutes. The staff is very attentive, strict in control, and friendly at the reception. Very clean. I liked the airport. Cafe Nero too
I was very pleased that there were not so many people (and it is important that there is a place to wait for your flight - free seats in cafes and public areas) - I was here in May, June and early July.
Navigation is simple and intuitive, without unnecessary problems. I liked the availability of restaurants and cafes like Starbucks - a great option to have a snack before the flight or drink coffee.
By the way, there is a large multi-level parking lot in the vicinity of the terminals.
The only thing that always remains the same is the prices... at the exit / entrance, a Snickers chocolate bar is 100 lira... (June 2023). But this is the standard for most airports.
In general, it is a completely normal airport, which differs for the better from Antalya…
A modern airport. It is clean, spacious, large waiting areas, there are even places with tables with sockets. I really liked the smoking areas, the so-called terraces - every 150-200 meters, being as if in the center of the hall, but they do not have a roof and it turns out like you go outside. We flew on the Izmir-Istanbul flight in February, probably out of season - so it seemed that everything was very fast and efficient.
Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is beautiful, but we couldn't find a place to park our car on January 25, 2025 because both international and domestic parking is insufficient. A lot of people like me had to park their car on the side of the road. And then they took these vehicles away. I tore it at the last moment from the withdrawal of my vehicle. I don't understand what kind of service this is.
Everything is good in it! Clean, beautiful, cozy, not busy, nice to be around.

A convenient and understandable airport, quite compact.
I didn't like the fact that the luggage storage is only in one place and there are few cameras themselves, especially small ones. The camera is located in the area of local airlines, there is support in English by phone (I had to use it because my camera did not open when I opened it).
The airport is located in the suburbs, and you can get to Izmir by the local Izban train.
Nice airport, clean! Of course, it is problematic to eat, but if you have dollars or lira in cash, then you can, it's better to have euros! ))The prices are really amazing))Toilets can be cleaner))
