A work of art designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. The modern airport terminal was built in 2000. The project for which it was built was called "La Paloma", which means "dove". The silhouette of the snow—white building really resembles a flying bird with a sharp beak, and the spirit of minimalism reigns inside - rhythmic lines and sculptural clarity.
