Abi Bali Resort Villa & Spa Hotel Review: "A paradise where even rain is a performance"
Hello everybody! Abi Bali struck a chord with me, the ocean is still roaring in my ears, and palm leaves are stuck in my hair. If you think that "drowning in greenery" is a metaphor, then you obviously haven't seen this hotel. The plants grow so aggressively here that it seems as if the jungle is about to take away your room key. But first things first.
Room: My "modest" apartment resembled the apartment of a hobbit who suddenly became rich. Is it spacious? Yes! A bed the size of a football field is ideal if you dream of losing your wife among the sheets. There's also an outdoor shower, which is when you're washing up, and birds are flying over you, and you're wondering, "Is it raining or is it your neighbor's air conditioner?"
Bathroom: A separate track list for fans of extreme sports. The stones on the floor are not decor, but a free reflexology session. You walk around barefoot and think, "Am I relaxing too much at this paradise resort?" But the view from the shower is on the fence. Well, at least not on a barbed wire like some people have.
Territory: It's not a hotel, it's a botanical garden with pools. Greenery is everywhere: on the walls, in the breakfast plate, in the pockets after a walk. The pools are clean, but the sun beds are sometimes occupied by... lizards. Although, to be honest, they behave more decently than some tourists.
Breakfasts: Oh, this is a separate quest! Monotonous, but delicious, as our neighbor said. Every day you choose between an omelet, an omelet, and... an omelet. But the coffee is so good that even the palm trees whisper: "Give us a cup!"
Service: The staff here is cuter than a kitten on the internet. They smile so sincerely that you begin to suspect that they have been abducted and replaced with clones. They helped me rent a bike, met me from the airport, and even when I forgot the key in the room, they just said: "Relax, it's Bali!"
Minuses: They are there too, where to go without them
- The Wi-Fi here is as moody as I am without coffee. You connect, write a message, and after 5 minutes there is no network again. I had to work in a cafe where the Internet is more stable and the coffee is stronger.
- If you like silence, then the rainy season here is a percussion concert. The rain is pounding on the roof, and you're sitting there thinking, "Maybe the gods of Bali decided to refresh me?"
In general, Abi Bali is a place where you feel like the hero of an adventure movie. Even room cleaning is a quest: "Find a towel under the leaves of an orchid." If you want a paradise with a touch of the absurd, this is your choice.
P.S. Don't forget to tip the porter — he's dragging suitcases through the jungle like a real Tarzan! 🌴✨
I give 5 stars, although (to be honest) the first impression was not very good at all. The room stock is very tired, in places something is cracked / falling off - if THAT doesn't scare you, everything else is A SOLID PLUS. The spacious room (we lived in astama 3) has everything you need, a sooooo big comfortable bed, good internet, shower and bathroom, two sinks, etc. The hotel has a lot of greenery, flowers, frequency and order, there is a swimming pool (where rarely any of the guests swam). The breakfast menu was included, they tried to make it varied, but in my opinion everything tastes very similar) It includes drinks (juices, tea, water, local coffee), a plate of fruit and a dish of your choice (almost all of eggs). STAFF - special love and gratitude! They are very friendly, friendly and helpful. They always clean up and keep an eye on the territory. Any request was fulfilled and was not long in coming, thank you! There is also a mini gym) very very mini) The location of the hotel is close to a good laundry and a large supermarket with everything you need, the rest is NOT within walking distance. Have a nice trip, everyone
The two-bedroom villa is nice. There is no territory near the villa at all, there is a corridor from the reception to the villa and that's it. There is a gym, but no one goes to it, and the simulators are rusty and they are outdoors. They are cleaned twice a week and superficially. For a month, both toilets were not washed at all. There are a lot of dishes in the kitchen, one small old frying pan, a small old ladle and two rusty knives that can be driven around anything, but they will not cut. The pool was cleaned only at the beginning, then they saw that we periodically leave for a couple of days and stopped cleaning. A gecko lived on the territory, screamed like a wild one for an hour at night, it would not work not to wake up, especially when I had not heard it before. A cheerful monkey will also come to you, lives in the vicinity, this is a separate story, remove everything from the bathroom and run after the security at the reception, kick her out yourself without a chance, you need experience. Lizards are everywhere, frogs on the street))). Ants in the kitchen and in the refrigerator. If you are ready, then you will be fine. It was good for us, but with nuances, like everything in Bali.
