I just love this restaurant. From the very opening to this day, we regularly visit it.Now it has expanded, but it still remains a very cozy and atmospheric place. With a lot of authentic details, a summer veranda overlooking the sea and a wonderful kitchen at very affordable prices. The average check is 1500-2000 thousand for two people. For this price, for example, you can order assorted meats and snacks, pide and drinks. All the meat, in all variations, is fine. My special love is mutton and bulugur, which is served with dishes. I think this is the best Turkish restaurant in Sukhumi and I also think that it is unfairly underestimated. Since there was a repeated opportunity to compare it with the popular Chegem, which, for whatever reason, receives so many positive reviews.Or I was unlucky 4 times. If you want to have a good time and eat delicious meat, then you should go a little further and choose this place.

We went with a large group (12 adults and 7 children) on the recommendation of one local resident, and at first everything was fine!!!! Tables were moved, and they were friendly and courteous. Then it turned out that more than half of the menu was missing due to the blackout.... OK, we understand everything. We order a barbecue. For the children (and it was announced right away) we take chicken fillet, kebab and wings. The adults were given mutton, fillets, kebab wings, assorted meat, salads, pickles and tea. After almost an hour of waiting, we finally got there. All the meat was chaotically and not portioned on the board, it is not clear what, where and whose. The children were left hungry, as the meat was incredibly spicy (this is not the first time we have tried Turkish cuisine, and this sharpness was an unpleasant discovery for me). We didn't even get pickles and tea. The final "pleasant" surprise was a huge COCKROACH running right across our table. The waitress coolly removed it with a napkin and that was it. We did not receive any apologies or any reaction. When asked to call the administrator, she said that he was Turkish and did not understand Russian!!!! And for this we gave 18 thousand. This "sweet" girl didn't even hesitate to throw in 10% of her own for "service". I'm shocked by this place!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!! Even one star is a lot(((

Everything was very tasty. Special thanks to the waiters for the fast and high-quality service, thanks to the administrator who will help solve any problem. We had a request to the waiter not to add some ingredients to the dish, they were happy to do it for us. This attitude towards guests is not found in every restaurant! 🫶🏻

It was January 03. We came here on a recommendation and left in complete shock. The lights are turned off across the country, but no action is being taken here. Go to the bathroom with your phone, because there is no window and no one thought to put a flashlight. But it was a slight inconvenience (as we thought at the beginning). When ordering, it turns out that it is impossible to order 80% of the dishes on the menu, because there is no light and only the barbecue is working. There is no baking, we were 12 adults and 7 children. They clarified that it would not be acute for children, and with grief they made a HUGE ORDER in half, everyone wanted to eat after a walk. Let's omit the waiting time. The order for the children's table was brought first. Submission is a separate type of deception. The dish in the photo on the menu and in fact do not match. Gramming is not respected. Instead of 7 separate portions, a meter-long plaque was taken out, on which (as we were assured) all the dishes from the order are located. The children tried and couldn't eat chicken coops, chicken flesh, wings, etc. everything was mega-sharp, although we clarified and emphasized that it was for children. The waitress said that she was fine, and her child also eats such spicy food. Next, an order was placed for twelve adults, each ordered meat, and our order was placed on a plaque slightly longer than the children's one. It was something. To our questions, the waiter said that they had such a service, but left the fact that it did not match the appearance without comment. As a gesture of goodwill, they offered to add bulgur to us))). We were asked to invite the administrator, but they told us that he does not speak Russian and will not understand you. I had to make do with what I had. Everything inedible: burnt wings, mutton in 1.5 x 1.5 cm pieces, spicy chicken fillet, lula (of all kinds) this is some kind of dry footcloth, 1 cm thick, sprinkled with pepper so that it is not clear what kind of meat and there is no taste other than sharpness. And in the end, like the cherry on the cake, a cockroach crawled out and crawled across the table. The waiter saw it all. In general, the girls were shocked and hungry, the guys had stronger stomachs-they had eaten something. Dogwood compote is delicious.
Total: a bill for 18,000 rubles, including an additional 10% for such service and inedible food.

The cradles are small and dry, and when adults are served together, mutton and everything else were served together, but some of us can't stand the smell of mutton and therefore couldn't eat chicken that already had mutton fat on it because of the smell. Due to the serving, it is not possible to understand where whose dish is and how much of it does not exactly correspond to the weight, the salads were brought later than everything else, and by the time half of them had already been eaten, salted cabbage was not brought to me personally (which was in direct access in the refrigerator on delivery), and we did not wait for tea. because we were already 2 hours into the completion. But the most unpleasant thing is a cockroach that got right on the table and started running around the table, the waiter couldn't catch it, I had to kill it myself, after that I didn't want to eat, I didn't want to wait for the dish!! When we asked to call the manager, they told us that he did not speak Russian and it was useless to ask him questions!! Therefore, they paid the full price and half hungry and in a bad mood went to another place to eat.

The dishes are very spicy! They did not warn and it is not written anywhere that the chicken breast (in my case) is marinated in a spicy marinade. I do not recommend it to visitors with a weak stomach.
The husband ordered an assortment (lula and chicken) and was also not happy. His stomach is strong, but he complained that the meat is dry and very spicy.
The waitress served only after we called her to a table or caught her eye. She's clearly working out of place.: slumped shoulders and apathetic gait, reluctantly renders his services. But the tall young man who brought the hot stuff was smiling, and it was nice.
When calculating, 10% is added for the service. Doubtful and not OK, it looks out of place here.
As a result, I couldn't eat my dish because of the spiciness. When I asked the waitress to warn me about the presence of spicy marinade, she began to argue that it was indicated on the menu. I asked her to show it, and she immediately switched to information about a kebab, not a kebab. On her part, I wanted to see sympathy or acceptance of the situation, or at least an apology for the misunderstanding.

We visited the cafe in July 2024.In general, the cafe is not bad, for lovers of Turkish cuisine. Orders included shawarma, French fries and saj with beef and vegetables. The food was never tasted... We came to dinner with my wife, the landing at the "restaurant" was not complete, several tables were completely empty. They sat down. The waiter walked between the tables several times, then took the order, then cleared the tables, but still he did not have enough time to come to us. I got up from the table, went inside, went to the counter, picked up the menu on my own and asked the waiter at the counter to come over to us. We sat for another 5 minutes, the running waiters didn't seem to notice us. I looked around, there were two more tables behind us with customers who were bored like us, waiting to receive an order. We decided that we would wait forever for food, so we packed up and left. "Soulful restaurant"!!!

We burned the barbecue, salted the cradle, brought the wrong salad, cooked for a long time, wiped the table from previous guests, when we asked to do it ourselves, the unhappy faces of the waiters. The salad was really very tasty (with pomegranate)- this is the only criterion why it is worth 3 stars.

I do not understand the rave reviews, I ordered kebab with my husband, chicken kebab, lamb, the chicken was passable, the kebab was dry, the lamb was terrible, all the meat was heavily pickled, I assume because it was not fresh, flies flew over the dishes. My husband had a severe stomach ache after eating.
There was a couple sitting next to us, they didn't eat much of what they ordered.
The waitress was relaxed, our order was a burden to her.
I do not recommend it!

From what we chose- there is nothing available - we had to change to what we have- for chicken.
For 1.5 hours of sitting , tea was brought and ... dessert.
They asked for the bill, because they no longer saw the point of waiting. We sat for another 10 minutes - no one.
We went to the cashier and it turned out that they had "forgotten" about us again.
The result is the most expensive tea in 1.5 hours) - 1000 rubles.
Think for yourself, decide for yourself...
