It is a very interesting place, especially if you are interested in dedrology. The places are wonderful, the willow is impressively huge, the turang forest is extraordinary. Such trees grow in the driest places, they are very rare and are listed in the Red Book of nature of Kazastan. The trunk of the turang has an unusual texture, although this tree belongs to the poplar family, but the young leaves look like a willow, and the 'older' ones resemble an aspen. Do not be lazy and walk around the fenced area, you will be greeted by another unusual place - this is a small lake, but very picturesque. A little before reaching the Willow, on the left, there is a radon source, a pipe is removed and warm +28 ° C water saturated with radonium falls from it. If you are passing through Aktau, make a small detour (15 km), but be sure to visit this place.

On the recommendation of friends, I ordered an excursion from the Melon travel company! Visiting Altyn Emel and the 700-year-old willow tree was an unforgettable experience. Willow impresses with its size and history, there is a connection with the past. It was very cool, thanks to the organizers! I recommend it to all lovers of nature and history!
