The Trend Hotel is on the outskirts. To the beach, if you know the direct path, 1.3 km or about 15 minutes walk. The beach in Kamala Bay of the Andaman Sea is a bounty! Lots of cafes, though prices... But you can buy in advance in stores or markets. We checked into the hotel at night. On the second day of my stay, I walked around the room barefoot, trampled dirt and hair. The floor was not cleaned after the previous guests. The next day, I watched as a smiling native boy waved a broom from the balcony to the door for five seconds, put a couple of bottles of water and considered his mission completed. I had to point out to him the bucket and mop in his arsenal. The wet cleaning took place in no less high-speed mode. The truth began to be done daily. Cleaning in the bathroom and on the balcony somehow did not happen. I washed the sink from a layer of old dirt on my own, as well as the table on the balcony. The table in the room, the tray and the dishes were defiantly not cleaned, and neither was khrap. There are no towels for washing, only bath towels. All linen is of dubious cleanliness according to the type "the first barracks changes with the second". By the way, the underwear was changed once in three weeks! "The collective farmer's house" is Thai for three letters, in the sense of a star. The air conditioner was not cleaned from the word "completely", imagine what is being blown out of it! The food is similar. Cheap, monotonous, unpretentious. The pool in the well of the buildings, heated from morning to night by the bright sun, is suffocatingly hot. And dirty due to the lack of a cleaning system. In the morning, the dirt from the bottom of the pool is manually collected by a hotel employee with a water pump. The massage room and fitness room are occupied by the laundry.

My husband and I were at the hotel from March 3 to March 15. We arrived at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and got to the hotel in 3 hours, although it takes 30 minutes to drive from the airport. Until they took us to all the hotels, and there didn't seem to be many of them, we were the last to be delivered. It was the same way back. But they settled right away. We had a standard room on the 1st floor. The room is large, the entrance is through the terrace. Everything was in the room, mini fridge, kettle, TV (2 Russian channels), tea, coffee and 2 bottles of water every day. Cleaning seemed to be done every day, but somehow so superficially. The bed may have been changed once, not noticed, but it was made neatly every day. But towels are a separate story. They were not originally perfectly white, not washed, and they were also changed maybe 1 or 2 times in 2 weeks, also folded on the bed, as clean. I was taking notes and saw that the same ones were rolled up. Until I threw it on the floor, they didn't change it. And the ones that were changed looked as if they had been brought from the next room, not washed. In short, if you don't pay attention to it, the rest is fine. The territory of the hotel is not large, but cozy. You can sit by the pool in the evening, there are sun beds and tables, sometimes we had dinner together. As it is, it's quiet there. Neither the neighbors nor the street can be heard in the rooms either. The breakfasts are so-so. But you won't stay hungry. Fruits are given little and cut into small pieces. Watermelons were given more often, there were once sliced bananas and oranges. For children, only yoghurts and breakfast cereals with milk. Yes, WiFi is only available at the reception, but the truth is that sometimes it was caught in the room. To the sea, as it was written before, go somewhere 1.2 or 1.3 km. But we didn't walk hard 2 times a day. However, there is no entertainment in the vicinity. And you can eat, along the road that leads to the sea there are their cafes and a 7/11 store and even minimarkets. The sea was warm, this fairy tale, relaxing, I did not want to go out. The beach is good sand, the beach strip is not wide, so there is shade. You don't have to take paid sun beds. We bought the cheapest rug at 7/11 and lay on the sand in the shade. We took a tuk tuk to the nearby Surin beach. There is a wide beach strip, in the middle there are sun beds with umbrellas for 100 baht. And it's a long way to the shadow. But there you can walk along the mountain path along the sea to laimsing beach. It's not big like wild, but it's cool and beautiful there. We took vouchers from the local travel agency Prophuket. Firstly, it is 1.5 times cheaper, and secondly, the guides there are more interesting. The phone number can be found on the website of this company.in general, we had a great rest. And the most important thing is that we managed to return before quarantine. A 3* hotel, therefore, there are no claims to it for 4+, and everything else depends on you and your wishes and capabilities. In short, I recommend the hotel.
