The place is iconic for operas. A huge stage, productions with a large number of actors look good. In Hades, 200 people participate on stage. The performances start at 21, so that it would have time to get dark, so everything ends after midnight.

For a sophisticated opera lover, there will be a lot of questions about the performance. I would not recommend spending time and money on performances at the opera festival. Firstly, because you can't hear anything, secondly, it's not comfortable to sit, and thirdly, the organizers apparently specially stretch the performances so that the audience goes to the buffet more often. In short, the Arena di Verona is unsuitable for opera.
