Gonzaga Beach is a 3-minute walk from the hotel, and of course it would be foolish not to walk along it and try to swim in the Atlantic Ocean. The beach is clean, it is cleaned every evening, umbrellas and sun beds can be rented in the morning. We didn't do that. There wasn't much time, but there was a lot to do. Nevertheless, it's clean, the water is warm, there are a lot of police and other security forces, a lot of people playing with a ball, it's beautiful, and there are a lot of merchants.... In general, the beach in Brazil is as usual. The water, here, is not completely clean, i.e. piles of garbage do not float, but it is not azure. And when they say and write that locals don't swim... this is not true, even as they swim. That is, there are critics, as everywhere, we do not listen to anyone and climb into the water wisely, because it is shallow, there are tidal currents with a strong wave can drag away, there are sharks (not seen).
