I got a lot of pleasure from going to the museum. Various expositions are very interesting and different genres are presented. And we were pleased with the exhibitions of contemporary artists in the lobby of the museum. The group's modern sculptures are original
There are a lot of expositions, we did not expect such a good quality of the museum, it is really interesting, we learned a lot of new things, it is very interesting to listen to the audio guide in the exposition with animals. The exposition with animals is the most beautiful, if you are in doubt which exhibitions to take, take with animals!
We were at the bazaar, there were a lot of people, we managed to visit the basement of the town hall, it just opened, we were one of the first and went up to the observation deck. The place is interesting, there is something to see, especially the views from the top 30 minutes are given to climb. What I didn't like was that there is no single ticket, you need to pay for each hall separately, there is a common ticket for all halls, but the basement and the observation deck are paid separately.
We were only on the observation deck on the tower of the town hall. It's a pity, of course, the museum is probably very interesting. But we saw the whole city from a bird's-eye view. Entrance to the observation deck every hour, only as part of a group.
There is a large exposition, there is something to see. I visited the observation deck, even 140 steps were under the force. I looked at Vitebsk from a height. Just "Super"! The beauty is indescribable. Recommend.
Thanks to the museum staff for a good and interesting exhibition.I especially liked the exhibition about nature, the collection of weapons and the most interesting exhibition of treasures found in Belarus.
The place is beautiful. We went up to the top. The ascent takes place every hour. The cost is 7 Belarusian rubles . The view from here is amazing. If only there weren't such steep steps, it's generally beautiful. The full review can be viewed on our Dmitrii Dragon channel, about Vitebsk.
This town hall is one of the few buildings of this type that have survived to this day. Although the architecture of the town hall has undergone some changes, it is a unique monument in the Baroque style. Now the Vitebsk Museum of Local Lore is located in the town hall. Therefore, you can admire the architecture from the outside, and get acquainted with the exposition inside.
We went to the town hall today, we wanted to go up to the observation deck, there is no one at the entrance, you go in and do not understand where to go, either the stairs on the left or the hall straight, because we had to go to the observation deck, we decided to go up the stairs, passed 3 floors, no one stopped us, an employee met us on the third, we we greeted each other and politely asked if it was possible to go up to the observation deck here, to which we received the answer: "no!", to our question "where?", this woman began to scold us for going up to the fourth floor and how we even thought of it (as if we had committed a mortal sin), because on the first floor on the floor at the entrance there is a pier "security guard" and there is a hall where you need to buy tickets and so on. In general, there we found out that the rise was at 13 o'clock, and it was 12.15. We went down, the mood turned sour. Getting up once an hour is understandable, but why the staff are rude to tourists is unclear! Make pointers, arrows in the end, and you don't have to tell off tourists who got lost, you can calmly explain, It's a pity that these Soviet habits are still found in such cultural places.
The whole of Vitebsk is in one building. I really liked the museum. It is informative and interesting. We went up to the Town Hall. The view is amazing 😍
The building is divided into several small halls with exhibitions on nature, treasures, the history of the region and defense during the Great Patriotic War. For an additional fee, you can climb to the observation deck, which offers stunning views of the city
An interesting museum. But, I bought a single ticket for 8 expositions, as a result, they were not allowed to go to 2 expositions, they said that they were not included in the ticket, and on the first floor historical Vitebsk, the woman closed the doors and said take a walk somewhere, the room got very hot I don't have the strength to be there????? What??? What have I got to do with it?I didn't have time to wait. In general , 5 rooms out of 8 , it 's a pity
The museum is ordinary. The tour service is mediocre. The guide could not answer some of the questions of the tour group.
The level of organization in this museum can be positively noted. Despite the high workload, we were able to arrange excursions without an appointment.
An interesting exposition of the nature, history and culture of the Vitebsk region. There are many exhibits from the excavations, handed over by the residents. There are several branches, such as the Art Museum and others.
Responsive staff, they love their job. The museum itself is interesting in most of the exhibitions, but... The feeling that at least repairs are required
The Town Hall is one of the main attractions of Vitebsk. Inside there is a museum of local lore; 6 thematic sections - Nature, Ancient History, Treasures, Weapons, the Great Patriotic War and Objects of ancient life; many halls, you can stick for hours
A very interesting museum. I especially liked the nature of the region. There are many exhibits of animals, birds, and plants. A lot of soul is invested. Employees are willing to communicate, polite, and interested.
We were only on the tower. The view is beautiful. But the price could be made for children for less. I wouldn't pay that kind of money a second time. The museum itself is also expensive. Therefore, 4 stars.
Now it houses a museum of local lore. Nominally, it is said that it was built in the XVII century after the city received Magdeburg rights, but this is still not the case. Because she has since gone through at least two foundation demolitions. Today's building seems to be of the XIX century. There used to be a fire tower there.
The red entry price is 5 rubles, no more, honestly. Small rooms, you need to present a ticket everywhere, more than once, as in normal museums. In general, strange impressions from the whole process. I didn't like it ((
An incredible museum. We thought we'd stop by for half an hour or an hour at most and go. And as a result, we spent more than 3 days there, we were especially impressed by the expositions with the nature of the region and the times of the war

In the Town Hall there is a museum of local lore with several halls, for each you have to pay separately to choose from. I liked the Great Patriotic War hall and also went up to the observation deck.
I was on the tower of the town hall- delight!!!
I did not get on the tour, unfortunately, but I found out that it lasts an hour and a half. We were not added to the group that left 20 minutes ago, citing the fact that it was not decent in relation to them.
Of the advantages, many guides (curators of halls) tell interesting and friendly stories, and there are aunts. This is not a characteristic of age, but the type of person who lived in the USSR. The museum is beautiful, the halls are interesting. I didn't like the navigation of the halls, everything is scattered throughout the building. It is difficult to climb to the observation deck, but it is worth it.
We managed to visit only one branch - Repin's summer cottage "Zdravneevo". The tour consists of two parts. The first one in the museum, they tell about the little-known portrait painter Pen. Then they are taken by museum transport to the estate outside the city and returned to the same place. Very convenient. The tour is only on Saturdays. I highly recommend it.
We visited two halls-Nature and WWII. The expositions are informative, especially the materials about the Great Patriotic War are very impressive. Friendly caretakers of the halls, which cannot be said about the cashier.
It is interesting, informative even without a guide, there are explanations, there is something to see, a lot of interesting artifacts. It was fascinating
