Very lazy personal. Registered our flight duribg 3 hours! Can’t open more counters to register? Dirty everywhere, a lot of trash. No information about what is prohibited in onboard luggage - they threw away my creams that are not liquids and went in industrial plastic wrap! Horrible attitude!
It is a very compact but very fast airport. Registration is very fast. The staff are great. There are small islands on departure where you can buy alcohol and perfumes at reasonable prices. There are McDonald's, Burger King and other cafes for a snack. It is only necessary to leave the local currency while waiting for the flight, as the dollar exchange rate is very inhumane compared to island exchangers.
The rest went great from December 10-20, 2024. We stayed at the Old Phuket Hotel. I liked the hotel, the room is spacious, there is a safe, a huge bathroom, a loggia overlooking the pool. The room was cleaned every day. The hotel is more suitable for family living. It was quiet and comfortable to be there. In the mornings I woke up to the singing of birds that live on the territory of the hotel. The hotel only includes breakfast, which was very convenient for us. The buffet is well-chosen for our usual meals.
The beach is good, the entry into the water is excellent. I really liked everything! I recommend it!
The gorgeous Phuket airport is like home here. The airport is clean, the climate is quite comfortable, and the security and check-in services are working well. At the entrance to the terminal, there are scales and packaging on the right. You can transfer your luggage for 10 baht and pack it immediately. There are plenty of Duty Free shops and fast food cafes in the waiting area. After passing through the passport and visa control area, going down the escalator, you will meet the efficient managers of the local mobile network, who will connect you to the 14-day Unlimited Internet tariff for 700 baht. What else do you need? Navigator with maps and locations in the palm of your hand, Google translator at your fingertips.
And even with a poor command of English and no knowledge of Thai, you are a civilized person. Prosperity to Thais, long life to the King of Thailand.
A completely modern and generally decent airport, due to the features, in high season, long queues and waiting times during arrival procedures, can be decent. If possible, use Fast track (accelerated border crossing procedure), it can save a lot of time. There are no complaints about the departure, everything works quite well. Special attention should be paid to ensure that there are no pauranks, batteries, accumulators, and devices with built-in batteries left in your luggage, otherwise your luggage will be placed in the screening room and they will look for you in the airport building, calling you on speakerphone. I can definitely say that Thais do not try to complicate the process of going through all the processes, they are generally friendly and stress-resistant, if you do not make a fuss or yell at them, all issues can be resolved through dialogue. At the reception desks, they try to strictly follow the standard, keep this in mind, you will have to pay for the excess, strictly with this. Oversized hand luggage will also be difficult to carry into the cabin.
In high season, it makes sense to arrive a little earlier, the queue at the reception can be significant.
A convenient terminal.
A cool airport: a spacious bright parking lot, a beautiful departure terminal, polite staff, there is a place to have a snack and charge your phone.
While waiting for departure, we managed to have a snack in a cafe, go shopping, and charge our gadgets. The airport is cozy, bright and warm :)
The airport is the right airport.
Phuket Airport is a very modern, beautiful and convenient train station, if compared with our Sochi airport, it is heaven and earth. Sochi is a huge city, huge traffic, millions of vacationers and is not next to Phuket, where the population is 400 thousand people. In Phuket, everything is thought out, there is no pandemonium, everything is for people, a very good airport
A large modern airport. Good indoor climate control and ventilation. Teletraps for boarding. Competent staff with knowledge of the main languages. Inside the boarding area there are shops of various brands, including luxury ones. The air is fresher on the second floor.
Ehhh,,, Phuket International Airport is the place where your Thai fairy tale begins and ends, or, as I call it, "the gateway to paradise with air conditioning."
From the first steps through the terminal, you are greeted by the scent of tropical humidity, mixed with a light smell of jet lag and hope for a vacation.
Here, among the endless rows of souvenir shops selling everything from magnets to elephant pants, you realize that you already miss Thailand, even though you haven't even left the building yet.
Queues at passport control are a separate attraction where you have time to review your whole life and realize that it might have been worthwhile to charge your phone as much as possible.
But as soon as you find yourself in the departure lounge, where there are "soft chairs" and Wi-Fi, which works "almost always", you feel that this place is a real oasis of civilization in the jungle.
And so, sitting with a cup of coffee for "a few" baht, you begin to feel nostalgic for the beaches that you left just a few hours ago.
Phuket Airport is not just a terminal, it's an emotional roller coaster where you say goodbye to a paradise island, but you already dream of returning.
Don't forget there is a Duty-Free here where you can buy everything you forgot to buy during your vacation. P.S. Thank you, Phuket, you know how to make a farewell unforgettable! ✈️🌴😂
The airport is large, the check-in queue moves quickly. I advise you to treat the girl with Alenka chocolate at the check-in if you want to get good seats on the plane. The storage unit has water in coolers for free on the first and second floors. If you follow the signs to the toilet, take empty bottles with you, stock up on water on the plane if it's a long flight.
By world standards, the terminal is quite modest. It seems that everything is there - buttercups are still beloved in the post-Soviet space, and waiting areas are normal at the exits and toilets, but ... But this is not a Mercedes and it is not 5 stars. For holders of the Privilege cards, there are business halls, and lo and behold none, Most importantly there is a hall where Russians with their privileges can safely get into. The hall for compatriots is relatively small and, alas, for many, alcohol is bad here. It's really bad. But they'll pour you a beer. You won't stay hungry, but you won't be able to eat with pleasure either. Exits go through the sleeves directly to the plane - This is really a plus, given the climate. Ah, the prices in Duti are ridiculous. but if you really want to, when it stopped someone.
Everything is so well organized, A small airport, a lot of people, but everything is moving! It's amazing how they manage to let everyone through. The prices in cafes and duty-free restaurants are simply space! Water 0.5liters 120 baht, cola 0.5 80 baht, but downstairs, at exits 82 84, you can buy Thai rum for 170 baht for 0.3 liters.🤗
There are many windows at the registration. There are a lot of people at passport control. Therefore, 400 people were put on the plane very quickly. There are many shops and cafes in the waiting room. King power, duty free are present on every corner. The prices, of course, are for the airport. High. Cheap burger and soda set in burger king 500 baht🥹 toilets at every turn. The aeropot itself is not big. Not to compare with Moscow, but 100 times better than Irkutsk😂
The international airport is of medium size. There are shops for the purchase of duty-free goods. There are not so many places to eat, as well as seats for waiting. Prices are the same as at all airports +₽.
The airport is excellent, clean, air-conditioned, and the staff work quickly and efficiently. They check in in a matter of minutes, and the flight, with a capacity of 400 people, took literally 30-40 minutes.
A simple and intuitive airport for both arrival and departure.Everything is very functional. Fast enough, even with high passenger traffic. The border is a little longer, because of the endless arriving planes.Business lounge -"have a bite and fly")).Very small.Elegant tables and only chairs. The food is fresh. Both Asian and European.Delicious coffee.
A clean and fairly large transport hub.
Although it often takes a lot of time to check in for a flight due to heavy traffic.
Despite this, the staff works promptly, helps on the tapes during the inspection and tries to optimize the flows as much as possible. 🙏🏻😇
as always, everything is fine. only the cunning airport workers began offering to go through passport control without waiting in line for cash - 200 baht is all the fun from the nose. Or wait in line for 40-45 minutes. Otherwise, everything is fine.
and yes!
Dear compatriots! Don't crowd the baggage claim area for SIM cards - you can buy them at the same price at the exit, but without queues and jostling. There are also stalls with these tourist SIM cards. No ads - green AIS is better coverage and speed, all other things being equal.
The approach of planes from the sea is especially steep, there is a beach there and you can listen to the hum of jet turbines.🛬 The airport itself is not that big, but there are places to wait for boarding, dutifre is not expensive, there are coffee shops and McDonalds (delicious, period)😁
A small airport with a free zone is compact, but there is everything you need to buy souvenirs home, local dried fruits, etc. standard goods for international airports, something beyond should not be expected, there is no heavy luhari, there are no smoking areas, at the very end on the right side of the airport in a clean area if you stand with your back to There is a KFC in the customs control area. There's not much to tell.
The airport is small. You won't get lost. There are few places to sit and wait. When we were watching, people couldn't find a place. In general, it is comfortable. There are cups with Thai ointments and so on, for those who did not have time to buy or spend the remaining baht.
A large, modern airport! There are enough shops and food courts!
Advice for new travelers!
1 . Do not take a taxi at the airport (as well as everywhere else the amount is 2 × 2)
2. It is better to change the buttons also not at the airport.
Basically , everyone knows about this , but I 'll just remind you once again that everything is ×2 , or even ×5😅
It's fast and convenient, there are cafes, a free boiler with hot and cold water, shops, toilets, and lots of chairs.. In general, everything you need for a comfortable flight waiting..
The arrival was normal. We checked in quickly enough and received our luggage. But the departure is something! 350 people were allocated 3 racks with barely moving staff on the plane. The first 60 people registered an hour! Then, according to eyewitnesses, madness began in general - the numbers of the counters and exits changed. Some of the passengers were put on a plane flying to Tashkent! Despite the fact that ours was in Moscow. In general, those who boarded the plane first waited for the last more than 3 hours. 🤦🤦🤦
A very pleasant and, most importantly, understandable airport. The staff are all kind, attentive and respectful. Navigation is clear, even people with signs in Russian and English are put up so that no one gets lost. Great food in the business lounge.
If there are no airline status cards, you have a place in a long queue, if a card, you explain for a long time what kind of thing, but then without a queue (both at check-in and boarding). Business halls of international departures operating in the terminal: 4 pcs (in fact, 2 copies of 2 different companies), small. In principle, if the visit is not included in the ticket or by status, I do not see any point in buying it out. The rest of the standard amenities are in abundance. Everything is pretty clean. Navigation in the registration area is not entirely intuitive
An excellent terminal, everything is clear and I really liked that the voice acting at the airport is in Russian. When you arrive there it becomes very cool and you become very happy, because you arrived in THAILAND!!
The most ordinary airport, there are children's areas, comfortable business halls. We were very confused by the restrooms, which are just disgusting and it's not very pleasant to go in there, as if they are cleaned quite rarely.
The airport is small but convenient. The Duke Free is standard, no frills. It is quite acceptable for a resort island. That's not why you came here, is it?😊
A nice, clean terminal. On the ground floor there is a 7-11 our favorite store. It is usually not crowded, but one day, because of this belief, they almost missed their flight. vat refund can be received without queues and unnecessary fuss. It is issued already inside, if the amounts are small. If there are car rental companies, SIM cards, exchangers. You can park your car in the parking lot for several hours or for several days.
Cool, clean, expensive, beautiful, it's a pity that they closed the smoking room inside, so after registration it's better to go out again, the smoking room is on the street on the right, if you face the entrance, then on the left
Upon arrival, you can buy a SIM card, it is also worth it, as at 7/11 for tourists and taxis there, for the price it will also come out if you order an indrive, bolt... Have a nice flight to everyone
Everything is clean, tidy, the staff is calm and friendly. They work fast and the organization is excellent. We have never been detained anywhere for a long time, no one.
The airport is small, do not get lost. After the inspection, there will be stalls with fruits, prices are certainly more expensive than in the market, but you can eat at last. They are accepted only in baht. There is an exchange office at the airport, but the course is certainly not profitable
The airport is relatively new, but it is no longer enough, it is completely filled, it is already a problem to sit down. I was very pleased with the seven-eleven on the 2nd floor, with prices, as well as throughout the country - you can have a very inexpensive snack and drink)
Despite the long queues at the entrance, they work very quickly. The airport is large, there are many shops, there are exchangers. Stores accept only dollars and baht
Phuket International Airport is small, but quite cozy. There are good Duty Free shops and cafes where you can spend the remaining Baht from your vacation in Thailand, you can also pay with a Union Pay card of the Russian Gazprombank.
Everything is perfectly organized, queues are like everywhere else, you can safely eat and not overpriced! We stayed there for about four hours and liked everything!
A huge modern airport I work with air conditioning in the presence of shops only in plus, the airport was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and toilets and a variety of cuisine presented in duty free I recommend visiting five points so keep well done
Phuket Airport has an international status. However, in terms of the size and quality of the service organization at the regional level. However, the staff is friendly and tries very hard.
A good airport, no worse than in other countries. The only inconvenience was for my friends, the lack of a smoking room, it's great that it doesn't make any difference to me. Many people who are for the first time are surprised.
A good, functional airport. Lots of cafes. Duty free is medium in size. There is only one online scoreboard for the entire floor, so you have to walk to the entrance to see the flight status. There is no smoking room
There is a transfer from the international terminal to the domestic terminal. So it is better to change the currency in the internal terminal of the National Bank of Ukraine. The exchange rate there is completely different, much more profitable. Go to the house, and to the second floor. There are two exchange points with a good exchange rate. From there, you can also call a taxi using the local GRAB app. And you calmly go to your hotel. I recommend.
It's fantastic, but it's been 25 minutes since entering the airport and exiting the gate! I left in the morning, there were no queues, the first one was everywhere!
I will inspect everything and the control is polite and passed without any problems!
Excellent Coral premium business lounge on the 4th floor to the right of the elevator. Delicious food!
It's not a big airport. Comfortable. Three floors. The prices are the same on the ground floor and on the second floor. There is a playground on the second floor. There is fast food both downstairs and upstairs. There are fewer people upstairs and there is a place to sit. There is a currency exchange. There is Thai food. Two burger Kings. There is a subway. There are cafes too. There is also a small one.
A modern airport. The smoking room is outside, there is no smoking room inside. A couple of booze bars and coffee in the departure area. Everything is so comfortable. There were no pandemonium in September.
The airport is modern, technologically advanced, customs control, if you don't mind going through it at all quickly, after passing the control there is an opportunity to buy a 5G SIM card and everything is cool you are connected to the Internet throughout the territory of 460 rubles. On departure, there is also a quick check-in and very fast check-in, prices in Dutik do not differ much from the city ones 🥺6%
It was in March! We checked in quickly, customs is also very fast👌the airport is clean and comfortable! The air conditioners are working!! There are a lot of shops, but it's expensive! There is also a place to eat! Recommend👍
The airport is small for such a flow of tourists. Long queues at check-in. The staff is polite and friendly. Conditioner. except for the green zone, it does not work.
